Khing with tofu ($19, delivery)
Jess L.

I think we finally found our local splurge Thai spot. Great menu beyond just the usual items plus great flavors. Yes, a bit pricey, but around these parts, there's an up charge for the good stuff. My husband's Hang Le lamb was particularly good. The meat just fell off the bone! My Khing was also good though not as epic. I'll skip the Kari Puff next time; I tend to like more texture. Nonetheless, it was a very positive experience! I'll be back.

The Crispy Red Snapper is delicious. Covered with crispy kale. It's my favorite meal at my favorite Thai restaurant.

The Papya salad first, then the Crispy whole red snapper, sauce on the side. Both were very fresh and delicious. I ended the meal with on a light note with Roti, not overly sweet, but very tasty.

It's my first Thai gastronomic experience, it's incredible. The taste of the food is very spicy and delicious. I highly recommend Whole Red Snapper Lad Prig, which is incredible that the salt covered in your fish can be so delicious. The waiter is very affectionate, I appreciate his work. The restaurant is quiet, beautiful, clean and with convenient parking.

I love this place! The service is really fast and everyone is friendly. I have both dined in and ordered to go, and each time the food was fresh and delicious, especially the Pad Thai.

In town to have lunch with a friend. Super clean super friendly. My dish was so good, I had the Pra Raam with pork

Beer and Thai Ice Tea

I had previously ordered takeout from their Larchmont location and thought it was good, so I was happily surprised to see that they had a New Rochelle location. We came here for dinner on a weeknight and it was pretty empty however we saw a lot of people coming for takeout orders, the interior is nice with plenty of tables and open space, there are a few parking spots outside in a private lot. The waitress was nice and efficient, answered our questions and made sure we were comfortable throughout. I had the Thai beer and my wife had the Thai iced tea, both were good. For food we ordered the Kari puffs which came with 2 pieces, for entree I had the beef drunken noodles that really hit the spot, my wife had the chicken kratium which is a favorite of hers with a strong garlic flavor with no spice, the food here is excellent and our experience was great, my only downside is that the prices are too high, makes me miss Queens where I didn't have to break the bank for Thai food, well I'm exaggerating but it is a bit pricey, I'll be back here

Enjoyed the food, quiet at lunchtime so difficult to judge service since I was the only one there. Clean and peaceful

The pad thai was also tasty, with a sauce on the sweeter side. My husband enjoyed the tom yum fried rice. Only downside is you can't specify a spice level when ordering from a delivery app.

It gets great natural light, which makes it feel warm and welcoming right when you walk in. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food is what keeps me coming back. This time I had the flat rice noodles with spicy basil sauce (Pad Kee Mao), and I always go with tofu as my protein because it's that good. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside, exactly how I like my tofu prepared. We also ordered the red snapper larb, which was a standout. They break down the fish, lightly batter it with a thin, delicate crust, fry it, and then toss it in a bright, herbaceous vinaigrette. Super flavorful and really well balanced. I did find it alittle overcooked but not in an offensive way. If you're craving Thai and find yourself near New Rochelle, I highly recommend checking this place out. It's about a 15-20 minute drive and super convenient from Throggs Neck and even closer from Pelham Bay.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

I'm always excited to hear about a new Asian place in the area. Their menu seemed relatively standard for Thai. They're not kidding about their spice levels! Take them seriously. The green curry was ok. There were too many fillers of peppers and bamboo shoots. The Thai fried rice was pretty standard, too. I'd skip the golden triangles, but we actually really liked the wings. We'll be trying more food from this spot - probably some different dishes.

Overall though it's a small space, well lit, clean with a nice ambiance. Food? In this instance I ordered two dishes which are what I consider mainstays of any Vietnamese restaurant... I ordered a Bahn Mi and Pho. I have to say, on both counts they scored hits with the food. Both were well done and tasty and there are no complaints there. I would recommend them for people liking good Vietnamese. I'd even say it wouldn't be a bad place to dine in, I think they had a radio and TVs going and I'd be a little reluctant only because of noise level but I did like the bright space and the layout and color design of the restaurant. It's a modern and very compelling space to be in for a meal.
