Absolute and total scam!!! A gentleman rang our doorbell and then vigorously knocked on our door. He was incredibly friendly and started with "Do you know Joe and Kristy next door?" I said yes. He said, "Well. they just signed a contract and we will be doing work on their home tomorrow". The longer we talked the more aggressive he became. I asked if he could give me his card and he said he didn't have one. So I said, I'll see you tomorrow when Spidexx does their work next door. He said something like, "OK, I'll leave without a contract." I then saw him walk across the street to one of my other neighbors. After he left, I went over and talked with that neighbor to see how it went. She said that the Spidexx representative told her that I had signed their contract!!!!!!!! An absolute total lie! Of course, it was no surprise when they didn't show up for my next door neighbor's "pest removal". So you can add another lie directly from the Spidexx company. So now I'm writing this review and If I could give them a negative 10 stars I would. The person representing Spidexx outright lied to me and my neighbor in hopes of scamming us into signing a contract for something we would never receive. So, if you see a guy standing outside your door wearing a Spidexx logo, tell him to leave and slam the door in his face. Had 2 people knock on my door despite my no soliciting sign. They proceeded to name off names of "neighbors" who I didn't know and said they "were in the area for a route". I was polite, answered their questions then they proceeded to ask me to wake my husband up when I said he's sleeping. Only reason I knew what company they were with was based off their uniform. Not once did they mention which company they were with. You need to train your employees on customer service and to be mindful of properties. read more

Your salesman wouldn't take no for an answer. I had a previous service through ecoshield who was just as bad. I said I don't want anymore service and can spray for the bugs myself. Kid tried to belittle the fact I was using "home depot" spray. First off, don't mock me at my home. Secondly, when the homeowner says no, that doesn't mean keep bothering me. And it definitely doesn't mean just come back the next day to try again. Also, selling all the services to our 95 year old neighbor? You swindled an old lady out of money? Hope you feel good about yourself for that one. We also have a no soliciting sign. If you come back again I will trespass accordingly and report your company to the city. On 6/10 at 9:15pm, despite having a prominently displayed No Soliciting sign on my front door, a sales clerk rang my doorbell. I was already in bed asleep. when I answered the door, the person failed to identify himself and rather than stating that he was selling your services incoherently talked about 'helping' me. I repeated my request that he state his business, and he still refused to answer my question. I certainly will not patronize a company that employs sales persons who will not take the time to read signs and who think it is acceptable to make a cold sales call after 9:00pm! read more

The rep walking our neighborhood was friendly enough but didn't "read the room" when I was outside with kids and told him we already had a pest control company (which is true). I felt as though i couldn't get him to leave without signing up which included adding my credit card # to the new file setup. Later in the evening I emailed the company to cancel and also texted the rep who was here. He responded via text and also rang my doorbell AT 8:30PM. Who does that?? With all due respect, he can't have kids or he would have known better. Plus, the company doesn't have a solicitor's permit for our city so he should never have been there in the first place. The next morning I got email confirmation from the company that my account was cancelled. I also blocked the guy's number. HE STILL CAME BACK that evening trying to get me to change my mind when we were very clearly loading up the car to go to baseball. If the guy comes back another time I'm gonna have to call the police and have him trespassed. read more

Scam. I agreed to have this done once after an employee came to my door and was pushy. My own mistake was not reading the agreement as it turned out it was for 4 treatments over a 1 year period. The salesman had told me it was 1 time. During one of the times they came to spray around my house, they left my back yard fence gates open. My dogs got out and ran down the street, almost got away. I have now completed my contractural obligation of 4 visits. I received a text Sept 4 saying they will be coming again on Sept 5. My impression was after my 4 treatments, the contract was over. They said I actually had to call and cancel instead, otherwise it goes to a month to month. I cancelled it on the phone thinking I was finished with them now. The next day, they still showed up to my house. Luckily I was home and told them not to spray and I had cancelled it. Now, I just received a call (Sept 10) stating I am going to be charged an early cancellation fee because I am cancelling service. After I called them back stated I would report any further charges a fraud, they agreed to cancel my service without a cancellation fee. Despite me not being supposed to have one in the first place. Despite them coming, we would still find occasional spiders in our home. If you have dogs and a fenced backyard, beware. read more

predatory and lying salesman! I was told the discounted rate was the only fee I would pay this year. I would have a re-occuring maintenance visit and charge next year, but could cancel anytime. Nothing to read until after you have signed and then you are emailed the contract. Upon reading you will be charged 3-4 more times, over $150 each time and have to pay $230 if you want to cancel. Just got charged another $162 after they sprayed about a month ago. And this is after they ring your bell with a no soliciting sign above it. Very first application cracked our ring camera. Highly recommend using another service that doesn't utilize door to door salesman, no good company needs them. read more

Eddie Carr from Spidexx was awesome! He was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable having him in my home. He was kind and friendly. He made suggestions and took actions that I would have never even thought to do. When he left, I felt good about having gone with Spidexx. The salesperson said they couldn't spray because of rain and they would be back the next day to spray. They never showed up to spray. All that was done on the day of sale was knock down a wasp nest and swept a few cobwebs outside. The salesperson said they would do the garage for spiders and it was not done. He did come inside and sprayed the sliding door tracks but then stood and talked to fill in his time. When I called to cancel I was told it will cost me $299.00 to cancel. read more
