Unfortunately, I can't recommend Spiffy based on our experience, although I do want to specifically recognize our second cleaner, Ashley, who was excellent. We booked a professional deep cleaning for our home for over $420. After the first cleaner, Britney, left, I initially thought the job was perhaps a B/B-. Once we actually had time to walk through the house, however, we kept discovering more and more items from the company's own deep-cleaning checklist that had either been missed entirely or inadequately cleaned. Among the issues we found: the kitchen had not been properly swept or mopped, portions of the kitchen appeared untouched, the entryway and a bathroom floor were not properly cleaned, baseboards and blinds were missed, cobwebs remained throughout the house and bathrooms, a ceiling fan remained dusty, the upstairs hallway and stairs had not been vacuumed, the kitchen garbage wasn't emptied, and multiple accessible areas underneath/behind furniture and other items were untouched. In the kitchen, edges around the stove and backsplash still had visible debris/buildup, and the sinks appeared to have been wiped rather than thoroughly scrubbed. We had also paid for an interior refrigerator cleaning add-on, which was not performed. We tipped Britney $24 in cash when she left because tipping a cleaner felt like the courteous thing to do. At that point, we hadn't yet realized the extent of what had been missed. To the company's credit, the coordinator, Anna, was receptive when I contacted her and arranged for a different cleaner, Ashley, to return for a corrective cleaning. The difference with Ashley was striking. Ashley was organized and professional from the moment she arrived, personable, extremely thorough, and had excellent attention to detail. She even identified inadequately cleaned areas beyond the specific ones I had asked her to correct. For example, I pointed out only two countertop areas, but after inspecting the kitchen herself, Ashley determined that all of the countertops and stove needed additional cleaning and took care of them. Ashley also independently noticed that the bathtub and other bathroom areas had not been cleaned well during the original visit. I ultimately didn't ask her to redo the tub because she arrived around 4 PM and worked until almost 8 PM correcting the first cleaning. After nearly four hours, I didn't feel it was fair to ask her to take on even more corrective work that late in the evening. We tipped Ashley $30 and she absolutely deserved it. Unfortunately, I'm now going to have to deep-clean the tub myself, which is especially frustrating because that should have been included in the service I paid for. I have a back injury, which is one of the reasons I paid for a professional deep cleaning in the first place. Having to scrub the tub myself defeats the purpose of hiring a company for this service and creates an additional physical burden for me. If Ashley had performed our original deep cleaning, I would have been satisfied. Unfortunately, getting there required me to spend my weekend inspecting the house, documenting and photographing missed areas, communicating with the company, arranging a second appointment, and having another stranger in our home for nearly four additional hours. That's exactly the kind of work and stress I was trying to avoid by paying over $420 for a professional deep clean in the first place. After I requested an adjustment, the company initially offered a $70 credit toward a future standard cleaning. After further discussion with the owner, they instead issued a $50 partial refund, which I appreciate. So this review is really two very different experiences: the original deep cleaning was extremely disappointing and did not come close to what I expected based on the company's advertised checklist. The company's response afterward was considerably better, and Ashley was fantastic. I appreciate Anna's responsiveness, the $50 refund, and especially Ashley's hard work. But ultimately, when I'm paying a professional cleaning company more than $400 for a deep clean, I shouldn't have to inspect and document numerous missed areas, schedule nearly four hours of corrective cleaning afterward, and still be left to deep-clean my own tub because of a back injury. For the first visit, the cleaners were 1.5 hours late. But the cleaners did a good job and I requested a second cleaning with the same cleaning crew. On the day of, I got a text asking if we could push back the time because the cleaner's car overheated. I learned it wasn't the same cleaner and the overheated car story was a lie. I hired Spiffy Home Cleaning for my daughter's apartment. Evelyn showed up time, was professional. Kind , took her time , even wiped down my granddaughters toys. Everything was left absolutely sparkling from the fridge to the stove to the floors! We have booked two times since and Spiffy will be our go to cleaning service 5 star service all the way around! read more

Id give minus stars if possible. Do not believe what this company advertises is not what they deliver. Hired for deep cleaning, they said a refined certified professional would come to asses the job. What actually happened was a man dropped of a teenager with a broom and bucket . The house was empty. The result was cobwebs, dirty floors, no dusting. When I asked them to return they changed the scheduled time, a woman shows up says wherea the problem takes a paper towel wets it down and proceeds to wipe down the placed a show her. Then tells me I needed a move-in clean..why didnt they assess this in the beginning as they advertise for 100% satisfaction? No cleaning products, just alot of attitude. They also said 2 people would show up and only 1 person came. They have been completely uncooperative in reaching a resolution. The owner prides his business on local family ownership has not returned phone call requests...its just very bad...look elsewhere. You will pay $300 for nothing. read more

Martin and Sal did a great job at a residence that I was vacating. They showed up on time and worked extremely hard! The house looked amazing when they were done. Anna was also great in contacting via text and email leading up to, during, and after the cleaning scheduling process. This was a "move out" cleaning and was well worth the money. read more

I think these folks do a great job cleaning. However, they bombard you with request for a review. One week they probably called me five times asking me for a review. Because of my job, I am constantly on my phone so I would hang up with other calls just to get a call from Spiffy Cleaning Service asking for a review. And when that wouldn't happen, they would call back the next day. When I tried to book this time, they said that they would find a time for me only if I would submit a review. So here you go Spiffy Cleaning Services! Again I think that's ridiculous. If you need a good cleaner, give them a go, but you've been warned. The quid pro quo is a bit odd for me. Especially because I try to keep my online presence minimal. They are one of the best yet most annoying cleaning services I have ever used. I think their cleaners are great. Terrible experience with the company in a filthy rental we needed cleaned. Pictures were provided and we had a cleaner show up and walk out. 2 others showed up and started cleaning around 3pm. Had to end the day by asking them to leave at 930pm. 1 woman smelled of smoke, the other was an awesome cleaning person, however she had to clean up after the other person but missed checking all areas. They received over 500.00 and I'm now deep cleaning the rental myself. Anna knew how awful the rental conditions were and when I sent pics again, she offered to send the only person that actually cleaned for a third time. I declined. 2 chances are enough to determine the overall professionalism of a company. This wasn't it. I provided 2 step ladders and none of the upper shelves in the kitchen were touched. This was a move in-out clean where every square inch is supposed to be deep cleaned. read more

The cleaners, Patricia and Jasmine, were lovely and polite...very personable and showed up on time. They really tried their best and communicated any issues with me. Patricia, particularly, was very conscientious. I think my fault lies with management, I am sorry. They sent a new girl once, after contacting me to ask if it was okay, and it was so obvious this girl had no training at all. Parts of my house were not cleaned and I sent photos to management. I was assured that it was a one-off and they offered me half-price cleaning the next time. And again, I think the cleaners did their best. But after that clean I received an emergency email stating that my credit card had been erroneously charged $3000! Profuse apologies with the assurance it would never happen again. I was taken aback and decided I really needed to go in another direction. I texted the number I have for management notifying them of this and cancelled the rest of my cleans. Never received any notice that they received my text. No cleaners though...so I know management received it. I just don't get it lol...I think for top dollar the whole experience could be better. She exceeded all my expectations--from the moment she arrived, fully equipped with her own top-quality supplies, to the final walk-through of my home. Elizabeth was incredibly meticulous and left no detail overlooked. She communicated clearly throughout the entire process, showing me everything she had cleaned and checking in about any concerns.
