I was given a window of when they would arrive and they were right on time. Once the technician completed their work, they let me know I can check if it's good to go prior to leaving, which I really appreciated! Just want to note that their service is a minimum of 2 hours. Payment was made online and you can tip through their portal as well. It was also my first time hiring cleaners and they exceeded my expectations. I've been cleaning my bathroom on my own prior to hiring them and it's definitely way better than I've ever cleaned it! I requested cleaning from here prior to moving out of my apartment. I only wanted simple things to be taken care of but the cleaning I received didn't quite hit the mark. I got a complaint that the ladies who cleaned the apartment used abrasive chemicals resulting in chemical burn to clean the tub and was told that the finish of the tub had to be redone because of it. I have to note here that I do not have abrasive chemicals so it could have not been my doing. Also, the fridge and oven were not quite cleaned properly and received a comment that it was quite dirty still. The window sills were also unclean as well. I reached out to them personally if they could come out to reclean the apartment but was told they needed at least 48 hours' notice to schedule another cleaning. Leasing office told us either have them reclean it or ask for a partial refund. They provided us neither. I opted to pay more out of pocket to find another cleaning service on short notice. The reason behind them not offering partial refund was "You did not tell us to clean according to leasing management's standards. We made an agreement with you, not the leasing office." Well in my defense, how could you satisfy this customer if you couldn't also satisfy another party? It's like saying you cleaned to the standard of your own, versus two other opinions. I could not be present at the time of cleaning as this was scheduled during the COVID outbreak. You would think they could provide better service to us instead of blaming us for not telling them it was per leasing office's standards. The moment you stepped onto the apartment property, wouldn't you have the slightest clue whether or not you would be cleaning per apartments standards? Common sense. The vent was not cleaned and when I reached out about some of these items the two asked me if I inspected before they left. I will start by saying Evgeny was very kind and not at all difficult to work with. When Ana came to our house, we also thought she was lovely. However, they simply do not do a great job. We tried them for weekly cleanings for several months and the floors were never clean...the furniture was never really dusted, and our things were repeatedly broken. Today was the last straw when a piece of the floor molding was just missing after they left. After digging through the trash we were able to find it. They denied even throwing it away. We have been using Yellow Glove for four or five months now as a monthly cleaning service. All in all, I am very pleased. They are prompt and quick with their cleaning. They are thorough with a general cleaning, so I can do things like clean the baseboards, clean the fridge, and all those other nitty gritty parts of cleaning. I know what to expect when they come. The only reason I am not giving five stars is, if something is on the floor, they won't move it. Every time they come I have to move our shoe rack, our hamper, etc., otherwise they will just clean around those places. What I have learned about trying other cleaning services, is it is very hard to find consistent service, and that is what I am getting with Yellow glove, so I will keep on using them as my monthly cleaning service. read more

The only two things that we weren't thrilled about was 1- their cleaning products left a strange odor for a couple days (smelled like bug spray), but worth it since everything got so clean. 2- we got in trouble in the neighborhood because I guess they took our trash out, but just placed it on top of one of the neighborhood trash cans. We were quoted $320 $40 labor fees never said the $320 is for 4 hours ONLY and then if they take longer than 4 hours it's $40 per cleaner. We get a call at 5 hours and 37minutes that the house is almost done just kitchen left, is it okay to continue. Why would they wait until a whole hour and half later to call instead of at the 4 hour mark to ask if it's okay to continue. This is a move out clean the house was completely empty, so for Andre to say there was a lot of "stuff" is not right either especially not something that will hinder time. Definitely not 5-star cleaning. I needed to have my house "deep cleaned" prior to putting in on the market for sale and this company was recommended by my realtor. Prior to their coming I had some wood floors refinished and the folks who did that were very careful about confining the dust and cleaning up after themselves, you have to be if you are staining and sealing wood. Yellow Glove complained that there was dust "everywhere" which is much more than they expected. The entire downstairs of the house is tile and that was cleaned and sealed by another company. Despite that Yellow Glove complained about the dirty floors. One section of wall was dirty where my dog liked to lay and Yellow Glove made no effort to clean that at all, I guess their idea of deep cleaning and mine are not the same. I would definitely not recommend these folks to anyone, prices are high, communication with the cleaners is an issue and the job was sub-par. read more

From arriving to our house to cleaning, the total time was less than ten minutes. There was no playing around or wandering, all 4-5 of them hit the ground cleaning. We left them in our house, apprehensive that this cleaning would be as bad as the previous one. However, Eugene and crew called us 4-5 hours later and asked us to come back to see how well they did. We were astounded. The house looked nearly new. The floor was shiny and bright. The appliances (oven, fridge, washer/dryer, etc.) looked brand new. Our garage was free of dirt. No more cobwebs. Granted, there were stains that could not be removed no matter what. And there was only one area (top of the bathroom door in the master's bedroom) where dust was present. This company does not communicate with their employees at all.. I have a 3/2 that only needed 1 of the 3 bedrooms cleaned and I specifically said not to bring in any supplies as I have bad allergies and wanted them to use my supplies. I also specifically asked for laundry. They showed up 45 min late, tried to bring in all of their cleaning stuff and had no clue what they were supposed to do. They did an ok job but left the microwave dirty and didn't do the laundry as requested. I was charged for the full 3/2 cleaning. I let it slide but asked for the same cleaners the next time so I didn't have to go over everything again. The next scheduled cleaning-2 completely new people show up, cleaning supplies in hand, again having NO idea they weren't supposed to bring in their own supplies. I had to go over everything AGAIN and they STILL didn't do the laundry. They did a fantastic job cleaning and get 5 stars but the company then charged me $70 more than the quoted price saying that they changed me over to an hourly rate because we were skipping 2 bedrooms (making it seem like it would be cheaper). Horrible business practice to change a customer's rate and not even send them a written agreement to let them look over it. Why would anyone agree to being charged MORE for less. The crew had no problem with my call box gate entry (so I could let them in remotely, while at work), and retrieved the key from under my doormat. This company did a lousy job the last time they cleaned my house. The overwhelming majority of the house was not dusted. The shower was still filthy and stinky and still covered in soap scum because they barely touched it. The owner claimed that would have required a deep cleaning, yet I was able to wipe it off with a few wipes from a wet washcloth. Bathroom mirrors were still dirty, the housekeepers left trash on my driveway, and they completely skipped a bedroom until I asked them to clean it. They also took only two hours, when my house usually takes 3-4, and their rushed, effortless job showed. The end result was far below what I received in previous cleanings. I told the owner I was willing to consider this a fluke and continue hiring the company but I wanted my next cleaning complimentary since I got such subpar service this time. The owner countered with a piddly, insulting 15% refund and would not budge. A simple Yelp search revealed numerous other cleaning companies in San Diego, and I will never return to this one.
