They paid attention to all the details I asked them to focus on from the base boards to the window tracks and the very dusty ceiling fans. I was referred to MI Cleaning Services by my last apartment property manager and to say that I am incredibly pleased with their services is an understatement. We moved into a 2bedroom/1bathroom condo that was filthy upon move in. We gave MI Cleaning Services a call and after explaining to them about the current state of the condo, Marisela agreed to come on her day off as soon as she could. Marisela and her sister, Rosa, arrived at our confirmed time, said some brief introductions, unloaded their van with all their equipment, re-parked their van on the street with no hesitation or complaints, and got straight to work. She assessed our condo very quickly and took lots of pictures which she sent to us right away. We offered to move appliances forward/around for them, but they insisted on doing it themselves. They cleaned every nook and cranny from top to bottom- dusted the ceiling fans and higher up surfaces, cleaned every appliance inside and out (fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer, dryer, AND our A/C unit), cleaned inside and outside cabinets/shelves, cleaned the windows and blinds, made the shower look brand spanking new (we honestly thought the shower glass doors were frosted- Marisela and Rosa proved otherwise LOL), and somehow made the floors look refinished?! They are very knowledgeable and even gave us advice after we asked about maintenance. They worked tirelessly for about 4-5 hours and charged us LESS than the quoted price that she mentioned over the phone! We are SO eternally grateful for Marisela and Rosa. They did a good, thorough cleaning job, but broke a few things in the house and didn't tell us. I was willing to give them another chance if they were more careful, but Marisela said she "didn't believe me" that they'd broken certain things, and cancelled altogether. I can understand not wanting to work on an old, fragile house anymore out of caution, but the denial and choice to cancel altogether rather than be more careful were very immature. read more

After leaving a good review, I have to re-evaluate. The house, though neat, was in need of a thorough cleaning (to be fair). I had a 3 hour window for the job. I had to mention this after the first hour, which was slow going. This immediately created some tension. I explained they could come back another time, which I was happy to pay for. They stayed and got the job done. When finished, I generously tipped the cleaners. A few days after leaving a good review, I found one of my closet doors broken. It was unnecessarily forced. I am now faced with a repair and a missing part that might be hard to find. Sometimes your'e better off doing it yourself. read more

I took a chance on Mi Cleaning service given that they didn't have any reviews when I booked them for a deep clean for my 3 bed/2 bath 1300 sq ft house. I didn't know exactly what I was getting but I was pleasantly surprised! 3 cleaners showed up on time and cleaned for 3 hours. They were incredibly thorough! They moved my furniture around to ensure that they got to all the pet hair, etc that falls under the couch, bed, etc. I was very happy about this given I have a baby who will crawl under those spaces that have been skipped by other cleaning companies. They even took the water out of the toilet (!!!!) to make sure it was super duper sparkling clean (you know there's that part that the toilet brush doesn't get....) The only reason I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars is that there was some miscommunication regarding one of the rooms. We have an indoor cat who we didn't want to get out so she was kept in one bedroom, I just was trying to let them know to make sure she didn't escape (she has with past cleaners). Well, the cat didn't escape because they didnt clean that room. Not a huge deal and I'm sure we could improve this with better communication in the future. That being said they only charged me $150 for a deep clean. This would have been barley minimum wage so I gave them a large tip. I would definitely use them again! I tried a different 5 star organic cleaning company from Yelp that cost more than double and wasn't nearly as thorough, so it's not always "you get what you pay for." read more
