Although the prices increased a bit more than I appreciate (post-covid-19 until today) it's just where we feel comfortable doing our laundry & sometimes dropping it off/picking it up washed/dried/folded/bagged (double the price) for the past few years. We've tried a few other places within a mile radius of the connector and ultimately it's been our go-to laundromat. We're not going to be doing our laundry in a laundromat for much longer, so until that day comes we're going to clean our clothes at Spin City. ***Current price for self service runs about $40-50 including vending machine detergent/bleach to wash/dry approx. 30 lbs using the regular washers/extra large dryers. ***Drop Off/Pickup runs roughly $100+ for same day service. I am so beyond appalled at what just happened with this business. i recently had a pipe burst and needed all of my and my kids clothing cleaned, and at 95 cents a pound ( i had 120 pounds) i thought it was worth it. when i called about the service i asked do i need to drop it off? they told me no we will pick it up! when arrived with my clothing the next day the very rude man demanded 273$. he told me with pickup up delivery it is 1.79 a pound. umm well your website says free pickup and delivery, your website says .95 cents a pound. Pretty good laundry mat. They have a variety of washers to fit all of your needs. You have to purchase a laundry card for $5 on your initial visit in order to load money to wash and dry your clothes. The cheapest wash is $ 5.95 with the most expensive around $22 based on the settings that you choose . The dryers are 1cent/20 mins. They also have a huge dryer that is $1, but I'm not sure how long it drys for, seeing why would you pay $1 when you can pay a few pennies. They have soap, softeners, and dryer sheets for sale in site in case you run out or forget yours (I don't recommend purchasing them though because they are overpriced). They have 2 vending machines in case you get hungry or thirsty while you wash. They also have drop off/pick up service . They sell laundry bags. They have a private lot off to the side . They do have a bathroom, but beware, there is never any hand soap. They owner is very kind read more

So incredibly expensive - it's actually ridiculous. I spent $20 because of their card loading system since their small washers are puny for $3 a load and then the next size up is $4.50 which is like quadruple the size of the small washer. Don't come here unless you want to waste all of your money on laundry - easily could've gone down the street and done my three loads and dried for $10. Fist time here and I'm so disappointed and so mad. I left my brand new Tide soap with them for my 2 bed covers and I also left my fabric softener that was good for about 4 loads. I payed $20 dls plus $6 dls tip they were doing the job for me ( I'm usually a very good costumer wherever I go) so when I went to pick it up they told me that they finish my fabric softener which it was ok (not to happy but it wasn't new) and when I try to pick up my Tide soap it was almost to the bottom, they must of used it for there other customers!!!! So mad and disappointed that they weren't honest!! They are going to loose more because I'm never going back. read more

I was glad to see that they do a drop off/pick up service, but they are very pricey. I paid $40 for such a small load. I know I could've easily paid for cheaper. They also didn't let me know that I wouldn't be getting my clothes the same day. Regardless, I will continue to use them for my services because they are very professional compared to other laundry services I have dealt with. Dropped off my laundry for wash/dry/fold around 7 am. Have to pay upfront. I had 24 pounds of clothes, it was supposed to be $0.99/lb. but the clerk upsold me by using Tide Pods or Gain Pods. So including tax and all that it was about $34. Smelled great, and when I went back to pick up my laundry around noon, it was very well done. You know those times when you see a small business struggling (like during a pandemic) and you choose them over other businesses because they're local? That's why I picked Spin City. Their rates weren't the lowest but also not the highest in my area -- I think he told me @ 1.29/ lb for the wash/dry/ pick up service, not including the tip. The service was scattershot -- we'd arrange dates + times for pick up and he'd show up earlier or later or never He apologized and said he needed drivers. I was okay with that. Other weird things happened -- like he told me he was stuck in traffic in Lowell with my laundry -- this service is in Lynn, why was my laundry in Lowell? A canvas laundry bag was returned with broken handles -- no apology. After about five months, I noticed the cost of my service suddenly went up by 30%. I thought there was a mistake and contacted the owner. He told me that yes their prices had gone up. Legally, I think he has to make his customers aware of a price change but I wasn't going to take him to court over the extra money he charged me. I just moved to another service. Today was my first time coming here and the clerk was very friendly and kind . Everything is very clean including the bathrooms . This place is very expensive though . The prices go from anywhere from 7.95-20.95 - outrageous. They offer freee dryers but the dryer are actually 1 cent . To top it all off the dryers don't even dry fast. This place is really nice. The manager Eddie was here when I came to visit. My drier busted so I came her just to dry the clothes. He was more than helpful. They offer free wifi and cable television. They have a variety of refreshments in their vending machines and offer a variety of coffees at the "Spin City Cafe". It's family friends and a great business to this community. I'll be visiting Spin City Laundromat a lot more often. I may get rid of my machines and opt for their free pick up and delivery service. They'll wash dry and fold you laundry for less than $1 per pound. If you have special detergent needs they will use what you provide and are very friendly. If you live in the Lynn English High area and looking to do your laundry this is the place I would recommend. Also, debit friendly, a huge plus. I wish I could give them 0 stars!! They are thieves!!! I left few things to be washed and dried because I did not have time to stay and do them my self!! I left a full detergent and when I went to pick them up my detergent was gone!!! When I asked what happen to my detergent the lady that was working there said that she will ask the other employees!!! I've used them twice now for pick up, wash, dry, fold and drop off. They are fabulous. Timely with pick up and drop off. Great communication. The clothes smell so so good and are folded nicely. At first I didn't think they would work with me as I am in Marblehead and they are in Lynn, but they had no issues with that. After reading the reviews here, I've got to add my own very recent experience. I ALSO signed up for pick up and drop off and was told a reasonable fee per pound (I believe it was $1.29 but I'm sure it was less than $1.48 because that was the offer at another company). After I'd used the service about 10 times, I noticed the price seemed to go up by a LOT -- maybe 30% -- this was using the same number of laundry bags and the same amount of clothing. I checked their site and was startled to see they now charged $1.89 / lb. The owner confirmed to me that they'd changed the price. I discontinued using them, obviously, but now seeing he's doing it to other people, I'm just disgusted. This IS the way he does business. I was a good customer and I'm honest. I let a lot they did slip by including many missing or late pick-ups and a laundry bag returned with broken handles and no notice or apology. Once I even reminded him to charge me when he'd forgotten. But some businesses have no respect for their customers and this is one. Lots of other places out there. read more

This is one of the cleanest laundromats I've ever been to. They have vending machines and tables to chill at. It's very expensive. The staff is friendly and helpful..... WHILE YOU'RE THERE spending money. I'm pregnant and I was there for hours doing LOTS of laundry. While I was folding some of my laundry I threw two panel curtains in the dryer that did not dry all the way. I meant to turn it on and forgot to. I got home and realized that I forgot the panels at the laundromat. When I called, the same guy that was ever so helpful to me while I was there told me it wasn't his problem and that it was my laundry and I should come in and see if it's in the dryer still. He was too busy to check. Again, he was very friendly and helpful while I was putting money in his machines to get a card because they don't accept quarters. I brought over $20 worth of quarters to do the laundry not knowing this. I ended up spending almost $50 while I was there too! I'm disappointed. I will not be going back. read more

We had great service and they washed all of our clothes and hung the appropriate things to dry that could not be dried in a machine. They delivered our clothing within 48 hours. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. The price is very good...wash/dry/fold service is a luxury that just always comes out to more than my husband and I hope. I won't be going back here. A few weeks back I went to drop off my laundry, this was my second time doing so. The first time was so easy, I was blown away by the service it was great. This time was not the same. I dropped of my laundry at 9:45am and went to work I show up at 5pm to pick my clothes up and I'm waiting for 25 mins because the employee they had left in charge did not speak English and did not know how to operate the cash register, she was having her 8 year old son translate. He asked me if I had cash and I told him no, where is the manager. He said he is not here. His mother the employee had to FaceTime another coworker to come in and help her. As I'm waiting notice someone had used sharpie and wrong numbers and letters on my basket! Why would a business vandalize someone's personal property. I brought it to their attention and I was told they had to write my account # on my stuff because baskets go missing. I told them what do they mean... they could not print out a piece of receipt paper and tape it to my basket?! They didn't say anything. I was not offered anything for the inconvenience of the wait the vandalism on my personal belongings, what if the basket was not mine?! I just don't understand how careless a business can be and then not apologize for their mistake. I called back earlier to speak with the manager and he seemed like he did not care about the incident that took place. So for that I will not be returning. The wash and fold service is very convenient for me because I work and go to school so I just don't have time to sit at a laundry mat. I started going to this Laundromat since October, to get all my dirty clothes nice and clean. If you are in the area looking for a laundromat, this place is the right place. The Owner and his family are very polite and extremely helpful. The place is fairly clean, with two plasma televisions for sport and music entertainment, news watching.
