Super disappointed with the way this business handled my laundry being stolen. I understand that It's not their fault., but when I came back to my dryer being gone 10 minutes after it ended and contacted management, they looked at the cameras and watched the guy do it. The guy that stole my stuff literally turned to me and told me my dryer was eating his quarters, then swiped it all. Management here said that because he's a regular, they think it was an accident so giving them the benefit of the doubt, I waited a couple days thinking he would return my 20 pairs of women's underwear and at LEAST 300$ worth of clothing. But no, he did not. So it was CLEARLY theft. When I reached back out I was told "He is a regular so I am pretty sure it was an accident. the next time we see him we will definitely ask him about it, sorry and hopefully your clothes turn back up."..... well 3 weeks later I don't have any of my clothes. The washing machines don't rinse well, and washes in all the things on the dispenser on pre wash cycle. I told the attendant at the washer had left my bathroom rugs with a lot of soap during the final spin and you could feel the film of soap on the rugs after the wash and she said that I had put too much soap. Washers don't dry properly, leave soap and lots of water on your clothes. Then recently the dryers were replaced with newer ones but don't dry well making the consumer spend a lot more money for drying. read more

Our washing machine broke, and unfortunately, Best Buy has already delivered two defective replacements -- so I need clean some clothes. I went down to check out the Fluff & Fold service. The employee there was very nice and helpful. I ended up leaving a load for Fluff & Fold and came back later to do some laundry myself. The same employee kindly showed me how to use the machines and pay by credit card. The place was clean, and by the time I left, it had gotten pretty busy. read more

Just had my baby and came here to catch up on some laundry. I had been here previously when our washer was getting repaired. Forgot my wallet by the dryer and came back to the employee holding on to it. Magically all my cash was gone from my wallet. I emailed asking if there are active cameras in the business and received no response. The cash in my wallet was a gift given to my newborn for diapers. While on a week and a half vacation this Summer, the laundry NEEDED to be done. We were staying at a hotel about a mile away, and the reviews helped sway me to come try this place out. Clean, well lit, staff on-hand to help if needed, and an option to use your card if you don't want a ton of quarters. No wifi available, and signal in this area is really poor, so be sure to bring a magazine, book, or go for a stroll while waiting for your laundry to wash or dry. I love this place, only place I haven't gotten my clothes stolen. Staff is super nice. My only complaint is why did I have to spend 40.00 on laundry which most if not all was on drying. The dryer's are not hot enough and even separated it so they were not overfilled. Just a heads up dryers take more then 45 minutes to dry. I'll keep coming because of safety and love the staff. Also if someone can control the lady from dog grooming next door. I noticed after she washed I made mistake of not checking machines. My clothes were covered in dog hair. On Tuesday I dropped off my laundry at Spin Spa. When I went to pick it up today the woman said I picked it up yesterday. I told her I did not come in yesterday. She insisted that she gave it to me. I repeated I had not been in yesterday. Because I would not give up she finally found my laundry (which had been paid for) and gave it to me. Mistakes happen, but when you look me in the eye and lie to me you have gone to far. Lies and dishonesty are unacceptable. I will never go back. If you do it as at your own risk. read more

Clean, all most every machine works. Recently installed new dryers April 2019. Sink with paper towels and folding tables. There is a bathroom and fluff and fold service. All workers are friendly and helpful anytime of the day. 4 small tables and 8 chairs to relax inside. Unfortunately one outlet to charge devices. DO NOT GO HERE !!!! I used the large washer & dryer to wash my bed sheets and blankets for the night. I sat in my car out front while everything was finishing up drying. My alarm went off to go collect my items. At 9:32 I looked up at the laundromat and the place is locked up CLOSED. When this place closes at 10:00pm! They are able to turn around your laundry in less than 24 hours and everything is always perfectly folded or hung and ready to go when you come to pick it up. Really enjoyed the experience. When I went, the base price was $1.45/lb which isn't much to have them wash, dry, fold, and they give you button downs and jackets on hangers for you. I like very subtle to no scent on my clothes after cleaning so it worked for me. If you like a strong fresh clean smell you may want to add the scent boosters for an extra $0.05/lb. This is a great laundromat. I have used them for wash and fold for a huge load of laundry. The ladies are so nice and efficient. They were able to turn it around for me very quickly on short notice. Our washer broke so I came here to get our laundry done. I couldn't believe how clean this laundromat is. Everything looks new, modern & well-taken care of. When I needed help with the screen to start my machines, the attendant was very friendly and got me going. There is a sink with soap & paper towels so I could wash my hands. I forgot dryer sheets but they have a couple vending machines with laundry products. This place has a very friendly-neighborhood feel and it was actually nice getting out of the house to get our clothes done. I saw another guy with his juice drink and laptop just hanging out while his clothes were washing, also. It seems like it might be a nice little escape while I'm getting a chore done at the same time. I hate laundry but this was kind of fun. Definitely recommend! read more

I used this place for the first time & had an overall great experience. The two attendants were very kind, welcoming, helpful & always cleaning or actually servicing laundry so I appreciated that. The washers can go from $3.00 to $8.00+ and have options of premium washes. I have been using a laundry place for months that just uses quarters and no special washes, so all of this is new and exciting to me! I have to say my that my blankets & sheets feel exceptionally cleaner!!!! My clothes feel cleaner as well and also seem moisturized instead of slightly dried out so I'm very very pleased with this place! The dryers are a good size & not as expensive as the wash and they do a great job! You can also do them in increments so if your stuff isn't completely dry you can put it in for like 15 more minutes which I love!! The carts that they have for you to use are very helpful! They are about the height of the washers so you can pull the laundry out right into it pretty easily & they roll around nicely. There are also a decent amount of them even though the place was pretty busy! Fantastic! The only thing negative part I can is some of the other guests kind of rubbed me wrong but I suppose you'll have that anywhere you go! Haha! read more

I went there on a busy day and found enough machines to get what I needed to get done. Also I decided to try their wash and fold service which is the absolute best. They ask what soaps you want and fold the clothes perfectly; I wash the heavy easier stuff (towels etc.) while they do the rest. Get a massage while you wash your clothes. I don't understand how this concept has never been executed before. You go in and wash your clothes, you sit around stressed out because your here and you can't leave until your clothes are done. What do you do? They hook you like crack with a free 5 minute massage, then they charge you a dollar a minute. Which is very reasonable especially for the convenience factor. This place has to be the nicest coin laundry place I have been in. Recently remodeled, I can't see how the other coin laundry places can compete with this place. Only thing is I felt like my clothes dried faster at the other place down the street, even though these washers are all very new. The service here was excellent by the way. read more

I've been coming here for about 4 years. Always was pleased with the size of machines they have. But today I witnessed one of the employees steal my boyfriends rayban sun glasses. The employees both acted as if they saw no sunglasses. The women was older thin with long blonde/brunette hair. I can not believe the employees at this facilities have enough disrespect to steal from customers directly in front of them. I walked into this business to ask for the restroom, no identifiable employee in sight. I noticed a client walk out of the restroom and set the key on the counter. So I waited for an employee to acknowledge it. Still nothing so I grab the key and walk towards the restroom ( mind you I was in an accident recently and have an red arm cast with visible scarring. ) before I open the door a Latina women "Patricia" approaches me and starts blaming me for breaking something in the restroom "last time I was here" ( I've never been to this establishment ever!) having to urgently use the restroom I continue to unlock the door since she never asked me to stop or not enter. I finish and come out and place the key in the exact spot where i found it (the key is attached to a one foot long piece of wood) then the women "supervisor-Patricia" approaches me accusing me once more that she seen me on video use the restroom last week and that's when I apparently broke the light switch. I've been in a cast for 9 weeks and have never been to this establishment so I ask her if the video she seen had the guy in a red arm cast and she ignored me and said she was calling the police. Completely unprofessional management and my first yelp review ever written because this was extremely embarrassing and upsetting!!!! I will make sure I tell everyone I know In this area about this incident until I get an apology and explanation. You do not do this to customers!!! read more

When it comes to a laundry mat in Pacific Beach or San Diego for that matter, this place trumps all. The experience, if you can call laundry an experience, starts with the location. Spin Spa Laundry is just 2 blocks from the beach, sits catty cornered from a 7-11, and most importantly is located next door to a family owned taco shop which has an open salsa bar. Huge bonus points for a free salsa bar since every other taco shop in San Diego has become so damn cheap they only give you two tiny salsa containers for the two pound cali burrito you ordered. Besides an unbeatable location this place has friendly staff, affordable fluff n fold, normally keeps ESPN or the news running on multiple flat screens, accepts credit and debit cards for all machines, has super fast FREE wifi, has a coffee dispenser, provides comfortable tables and chairs to do work from, is kept clean, has a bathroom, and stays open until 9pm most nights. Even better it is rarely crowded, there are no bums posted up nearby, and the crowd seems to be older in case you leave your clothes for a moment to retrieve some eats.
