I called back many time in the upcoming weeks to see if the mattress came, they kept telling me its on some random truck, which they could not get in contact with because the trucking company has no phone number... only an email and they werent getting a response from the truck company. now its been a month, and i have no mattress but they want me to pay for the mattress... I was then told i could come in, get a 10 inch mattress of the same brand and they would throw in a "free" box spring. i again drove 30 minutes to this place and they forgot to inform me that the 10 inch mattress was not the same softness as the one i originally ordered. i ask for corporate numver, they tell me there is no corporate number. i ask for an email, they said they cant give me an email bc that email they use is for employees only.... what the hell bro. They tell me i should go online and submit an inquiry about my frustrations . I then ask for a refund. they say they will keep 50$ of my refund because i had the product on layaway. im very confused as to why they would withhold 50$ if they themselves dont even have the product!!! I ask them, when i originally came in, did you guys even have the mattress to begin with??? The manager (Tim) says he doesnt even know. Stay with me... then to process my refund i used three different cards when i came in to make my payments. he told me that each card had to be on hond so he can process each individual transaction to each individual card. one of them i dont have because it expired and overall to process individual refunds is extremely inconvenient. Me, being "thrifty" aka "cheap" priced a new one at Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot before heading here. Each of them had a model to fit my requirements (24 inch stainless steel front and tub) on sale. None had the one I wanted on display or in stock. I would have to order and wait. Only Lowes had someone in the store who knew how to find a dishwasher in their system without getting help. The appliance department in Best Buy looks like someone went through and shoved everything into a pile. I saved the best store till last. The dishwasher I wanted was on display in the front of the store. The knowledgeable salesperson knew the price and answered my questions. Within a minute I knew the price here was better than any of the big box prices. I ordered my dishwasher on the spot. It was in stock, delivered, and installed at the date and time promised. Bravo!

They've torn the daily prices off the big signs, but it's supposedly 3 dollars on Tuesdays. There's a terms and conditions posted on the front door. No opening things without a team member (if you can find one), no refunds. We maneuvered around a pile of mismatched carts through the cleaner half of the store stocked with higher price kitchen gear and beauty products to the back room bumping radio tunes. There were tables littered with taped up online returns, most from marketplace type vendors based off the labels we tried to decipher off the side. (The internet helps typing in some of these titles to help the guessing game.) I noticed some packages still had the names of the original buyers on them as well. We shuffled through it all, finding mostly junk. I may have been a bit more picky than the others, only getting a dish rack that comes with no assembly instructions. I think it caught the cashier off guard, as I set it on the counter and waited two minutes before he realized I was buying it and that he needed to set his phone down. I paid my 3 cash with a 20 and he struggled to make change for another solid minute, mumbling at us. My mates were able to pay by card, albeit with a convenience fee. When I had excused myself to the bathroom, I found that there was no soap and no towels available. Ended up shaking my hands to dry them off. I'm shaking my head too, that no, we will not be coming back. Maybe it would be different on a restock day at the higher price, but with Goodwill and Savers right up the road, this traffic battle ain't worth it.

In addition, when we opened our front door later in the evening, we found boxes, plastic wrapping, parts, etc strewn across our steps! the employees had entered thru our rear door, so we had no idea they had left such a mess behind. not only was the d/w poorly installed, it took us sending multiple photos and e/mails and making several phone calls to get someone out to correct the issue. We try to support local companies, but when friends purchased appliances for less money from one of the big boxes, had no installation problems and no debris left behind, why would anyone shop at orvilles?
