Being warmly welcomed at the front door by Satonia, the receptionist and everything-doer, starts my sessions off to a great start each time. The attentive techs support the physical therapists in their quest to get me rehabbed back to baseline and beyond. I have rehabbed 4 body parts over 2+ years at Vista White Rock and have observed many patients come, go and come back to rehab another body part also! I love the mix of ages and fitness levels present at any given time at the clinic from teenage athletes to middle age weekend warriors to the elderly, grateful to regain mobility and increase strength. The surroundings are bright, open and friendly. Small, as well as the large, victories are celebrated by everyone. After previous poor experiences at four other PT clinics for various rehab needs, I took advantage of Vista's 30 minute free consultation to interview them prior to a major foot surgery. I was extremely impressed and started PT soon after my surgery. I was even more impressed with their techniques, challenges, creativity, the way they listen, and, of course, the outcome! The facility has tons of equipment, very gym-like. But the therapy equipment is designed specifically for the folks who need some help getting back to "normal" after an orthopedic injury--except for the soccer ball. I'm pretty sure it was just a soccer ball. All the folks there are nice, professional and they really made us feel comfortable. At first I'd go back with my 14-year old daughter and do the "mom thing"--you know, kind of hover. But I really felt okay letting her go back alone. I didn't let her go back alone, but mostly because I enjoyed going back with her. They gave her exercises to do at home and checked her progress. They explained everything to both her and I. Now she's got her mobility and strength back. We will still have to work on the balance, and the goofiness. They can't fix goofy. I secretly think they encouraged it a bit. Awesome place. The pain gradually worsened to the point where I couldn't drive, work out, or sleep more than 90 minutes at a time without extreme discomfort. A close friend of mine (an OT) recommended Stefani and her team at mPower after I was given no help or hope at an orthopedic surgeon. They were knowledgeable, confident, and listened carefully my whole story. Where other healthcare professionals literally shrugged and recommended long-term NSAIDs, the PTs at mPower immediately assessed my physical issues and gave me quick relief via adjustments and instructions for at-home exercises. I visited them 1-2 times per week for several months, and just as they predicted, I started to heal and feel relief right on schedule. I've been back for a couple of other issues since, and it's the same experience every time - easy to schedule, pleasant to work with, and exceptionally competent. The next appointment, we got a little more aggressive with the treatment and so far it's really helping. I sat there on 11 August 2025 for over an hour while they queried me about policy insurance #'s from the VA. There are no policy numbers for community care referrals as the provider bills the VA directly. They promised to find someone with the professional expertise I needed. No one was found in my area. Then the unthinkable occurred! These people cancelled my referral telling the VA that I was NO SHOW for the appointment. Don't fool with this place!
