I recently tried Caffe Yoga through ClassPass and I'm so glad I did. What a cute, quaint little…read morestudio here in OC. Honestly, it's the most beautiful studio I've ever been to. The space feels so warm and welcoming the moment you walk in, and I love that the yoga classes are heated, it just adds to the whole experience. The staff was very friendly when I checked in, which always makes a difference, especially when it's your first time somewhere. A quick heads up: The studio is a little hard to find at first. It's located inside a business complex in a suite (not a standalone storefront). I parked in the lot across from Mud Hen Clay & Art Studio and found the stairs there that lead up to the studio. I'd recommend arriving a bit early so you have time to find parking and get settled. Also, the restroom is a shared community bathroom with the other suites in the complex, so just keep that in mind. I took a Hatha/Vinyasa class with Kimberly on a Saturday morning and it was great. The flow felt balanced and grounding. This was my first time here and my first impression was such a good one. I'd love to come back.

Pros: Adorable studio! Love the ambiance! Kim was the…read moreinstructor and she was amazing. She was knowledgeable and gave explanations for each pose. I enjoyed that she explained which areas/ muscles were being stretched/ focused on with each pose. Kim also offered modifications for each pose- THANK YOU SO MUCH! There's all levels of fitness and having modifications, allows everyone to participate- regardless of fitness level/ experience with doing yoga. The restorative yoga truly is for all levels, beginners included! The ambiance was perfect. I loved the dim lighting, the relaxing music, smell of incense, the feel of wind on your face, and the tranquil noises during the yoga. Kim created an entire experience. Blocks, straps and pillows were provided. Cons: The studio is hard to find. My gps took me around the block a couple times. I was looking for a building. It's definitely a suite in a building with lots of other businesses. It's on the second floor, in the corner. It's an older looking building with a lot of corporate looking businesses. There's parking in the back. Hard to find, but once you know- you know. 10/10 yoga class!

The class we go to is led by Jamie. She is so knowledgeable and leads the class without effort. The pace is great for beginners and there is no pressure or poor energy to help you feel welcome. Classes are easy to book on the app and there are plenty of styles to choose from! I look forward to the classes every time!

Solid hot yoga studio in the area! Overall, love the variety of teachers, classes and offerings…read more(you can also use your membership at the other locations). But parking can be a major hassle. The classes itself are fantastic - do note that most classes are heated; albeit, to varying degrees - from 70/75 for vinyasa flow 1 to 105-110 for Hot Ra. Each instructor has their own style, and seems to be have creative freedom to direct their own flow (which some chain studios might not). My favorites are: - Yogalates with Yamilette - love that she has great music in line with the flow and works both upper and lower body - Hot Ra with Mike - really like his challenging balancing poses, along with choice of chill Hozier While this studio is priced lower than Corepower, I noticed that the classes here are always fully booked and you are very close to your neighbors. Another major con is the parking! At peak class times (weekday evenings), all the designated Ra spots are full, and the open spots remaining belong to the businesses nearby which threaten to tow, making getting to class very stressful. I try to avoid classes at 5-6PM because of this.

I have been curious about Sanctuary Wellness Center & Yoga Studio for a long time now. I was so…read moreexcited to see an opening for Aerial Yoga during a time I was available. I made sure to arrive early... especially when there was this excerpt on the class that says, "Arriving late, even unintentionally can take away from others - their peace, focus, and time". The parking lot was hard to find. I actually had to circle it a few times before finding it, and parking in their back lot. I entered from the back door and made my way through the front to check in with the owner. I checked in early. I signed in. I SIGNED THE WAIVER. The owner was going to give me a studio tour but she kept getting busy with other things. That's fine, not an issue. Their studio space is small. For aerial, there are 9 silks, so 1 for the instructor and 8 for the students. The front left is a bit close to some equipment so the teacher took that spot when it got busy. The spacing is a bit tight, and can cause students to bump into each other if they are not mindful. Also the studio is off a busy street and I can hear the cars driving by, so it could be more relaxing. Come early! Especially with aerial. It is important to adjust the silks where the bottom is at your pelvic height. A lot of the students did not come in until the start of class time, and the instructor still had to lower the silks and then adjust it to their height. OUR CLASS STARTED 10 MINUTES LATE. I don't blame the instructor because they can't turn away their students... but that is 10 minutes wasted from my time even though I was early and prepared. The aerial class itself was a great work out. A bit on the basic end of aerial yoga. I know the instructor mentioned she designs it based on the level of the class and we had some folks who were first timers so the instructor went easy on us. The owner offered to take pictures for us, but she went away. The instructor was nice to take photos too, but her yoga skills are definitely better than her photography skills. In one of the photos where my face and body shaped looked the best, she had her whole thigh in it. Sigh. We were 3 minutes from class ending time and we didn't even get into the silks for a cocoon savasana. At that point I just left cause it didn't seem like we would be doing the savasana or anything. What annoyed me the most ... is receiving a messaging telling me I didn't sign a waiver and that I need to sign one next time. WOW !! I came early... signed the waiver... had my time wasted... and now I get this email telling me I didn't sign the waiver. Before receiving that message I was in the air about coming back. But after seeing that message I was so annoyed. I am not coming back... It would have been more tactful to wait for me to come back and ask me at that time to sign if they misplaced the last one. I work out to relax but this whole experience was so stressful. I shouldn't have my time wasted if THEY are disorganized.
