    This was my second experience with Spirit Airlines. The first was awful having a flight cancelled and unable to rebook the same day. My interaction with Spirit customer service over the phone was excellent. A refund was applied for 50% of the value plus baggage. The credit was immediately applied. My direct Boston to Raleigh was much smoother. I did have to deal with a ticket agent for new boarding passes as they had me separated from my 14 year old daughter. Nothing special about the service, the transaction was processed. The flight was 35 minutes late to board. However once on the flight we made up time and was only 15 minutes late to Raleigh. Spirit is a discount airliner, so expect no frills and charges on everything À la cart. That includes baggage, seats, drink service and even boarding passes at $10 a pop if an agent prints them for you. Use the kiosk and save. The positive is dirt cheap tickets and pray your itinerary is completed with no hassle. I may be willing to give Spirit another shot in the future.

    Huge shout out to supervisor Joshua at Gate 38 flying Spirit from BOS to LAS on Monday night. So many mistakes were made by his coworkers. Boarding a half empty flight that a fellow Boston gate agent had said was 100% full with no availability until THURSDAY, Joshua pulled me aside and insisted he make it right, which he did. He also saw that I had been billed for a big seat 3 times for a single flight. This young man should be CEO of Spirit. He's a total take-charge individual who refuses to tolerate ineptitude. Thanks Joshua.

    About to use Spirit for my first ever flight and I’m 15 and going alone, I just want to know can I use a reloadable Visa card for in-air purchases? I have no way of obtaining a credit or debit card and I can’t get a hold of a prepaid ReadyCARD.

    Do they accept pre-paid debit or credit cards for in-flight purchases (food and drinks? Traveling with my 4 year old son next week. Pretty scared. Our first time flying. I don't own a credit or debit card. Need to know from experiences what's useful!

    They only take credit cards for drinks & snacks. I believe a prepaid will work just fine as they swipe it.

Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell Again.

The seats also looked new, and there was a nice flat screen to watch movies. But the legroom felt really tight for first class, and the seat recline felt very limited. When my laptop was stowed under the seat, there was just enough space for my feet on the floor. The meal was very good (always go with the chicken - in this case chicken thighs), and the flight attendants were very attentive. The plane departed and arrived on time. She was patient and went the extra mile when she truly did not have to. Not only did she take on my issue when I was not departing from her terminal, but she also answered each of my questions calmly and kindly and escalated it via phone. Because of her kindness, I got rebooked on the next flight out. This kind of patience and kindness is rare in the customer service industry and even exceptional among the interactions I've had with Delta over the last 12 months. I'm so grateful to her. I hope that this kindness will be remembered when she is up for promotion and/or performance review. Indeed, this is the kind of team member Delta could use more of at every level.

Then on the plane the flight attendants were so sweet. Our flight left on time. No delays and the Beef Stew dinner with roasted potatoes and string beans they served after being in the air for only an hour was fantastic. I watched a movie, drank 2 glasses of complimentary wine and slept a little with the complimentary blanket over me. Aer Lingus is definitely one of my favorite international airlines.

They now say they would have bought me a toothbrush, but are not liable for any other incidental costs surrounding their lack of care. The response from customer service has been glacially slow and seems to be from a bot. Any other airline would have put me up for a night and compensated me for the transportation cost and lost lodging. Not Aer Lingus. Stay away from this airline.

This is a unique service offered only on the A321T and offered only from Boston to LAX, JFK to LAX, and JFK to SFO and JFK to SNA. The A321T is uniquely configured with Flagship First, Flagship Business, and economy. The amenities and seating in the premium cabins is much more akin to a widebody aircraft with lie-flat seating offered in first and business and seatback screens throughout the aircraft. Sadly, these aircraft will soon be retired as AA moves toward eliminating Flagship First systemwide. The seating in first is 1-1 which offers a lot of privacy. The seatback screen is large and high definition with a wide selection of movies and other entertainment options. Noise cancelling B&O headsets are also distributed. The meal service in first is enhanced versus what is offered in business including higher end touches on the meal tray like individual salt and pepper shakers and a metal napkin holder. There is also actual champagne in first versus prosecco in business. There is also a soup course in first which is not offered in business. The flight attendant was great and offered an attentive and premium service. Baked on board cookies are also offered prior to arrival. Overall, this was a great transcon flight on AA. Sadly, it's the exception and not the rule as service and amenities on other AA flights leaves a lot to be desired.

It was a long, but easy walk from the terminal I landed in to Terminal C to check-in for this flight. Checking in was a cinch - Just show an ID, let them weigh my carry-on and backpack, give them my weight and then they tagged my baggage and gave me a boarding pass. When boarding, it was an easy walk down the stairs to the tarmac where we walked to the plane and boarded it. The ground crew and pilot and first officer on the plane were helpful, explained the trip to us and we were on our way. The flight was smooth and the landing was nice. Plane is VERY loud though, so definitely wear some ear protection or headphones. I'd definitely fly them again!

That's two minutes past their cutoff, fine, rules are rules, but the way I was treated was disgusting. One agent actually said, "I don't want to but the pilot said yes." The other snapped, "You the guy who just showed up?" and then called me a liar when I told her I had been there twenty minutes earlier. I had photo proof from my watch at the desk at 10:03, and she still doubled down. Here's the kicker: the flight still left on time and landed so early that we deplaned 25 minutes ahead of schedule. So all their nasty attitude, eye-rolling, and name-calling wasn't about the schedule at all, it was just pure unprofessionalism. If Cape Air thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable, it says a lot about how little they value their passengers. Those ladies put the anis in Hyannis. The pilots were wonderful and the landing was impeccable. So bravo to the fellas with the wings!
