    Manchester, England to Boston, Massachusetts via Frankfurt As is usually the case, online check-in helped hugely. Once all three of us had put in name/booking code, it appeared that we could only select seats for our flight from Manchester to Frankfurt, not Frankfurt to Boston. After entering passport details, both seat maps showed up. Seats were both in economy; 20A,B,C on an Airbus A321 and 29G as well as 53A,C on the Airbus A340-600. No line in Manchester for baggage drop, however security line was a mile long. Inbound plane was 15 minutes late and there was about 10 handicapped passengers, but flight was only 40% full. The crew hustled everyone aboard quickly and the plane left the gate and took off without stopping once. Once again, cheese sandwiches, chocolate bars and drinks were served. Only negative is no entertainment, not even overhead screens, on Lufthansa regional, short and medium haul. Plane landed just over 10 minutes late Frankfurt. We originally had a two hour layover, slightly reduced by the delay. Passengers whose connections were tight were driven directly to their gate by buggy. Changing terminals isn't hard in Frankfurt, but the large amount of passengers makes things somewhat hectic. We inquired about volunteering to stay overnight since flight was overbooked, but there was several no-shows. Boarding was efficient with two jetways again, and it was necessary since the flight was completely. We waited at the gate for 10+ minutes, but took off promptly after that. Drinks and crackers were served as soon as the seat belt sign was turned off, and the meal came shortly afterward. Pesto pasta was good, salad wasn't rotten, bread roll was fine and real utensils were used. Only negative was the dessert of key lime pie, which both smelled, looked and tasted revolting. Personal entertainment screens kept everyone happy, and the map/flight info program is very practical. As was the case last time, having toilets downstairs is more sanitary and creates a quieter cabin enviroment. The lights were switched off after a while, but personal overhead lights were bright enough to be able to read, play cards, etc. Drinks and crackers were available in galley area between meal services, but perhaps something more substantial could have been offered. Cabin crew was fairly visible during the flight, even when no service was offered. About two hours prior to landing, a "snack" was served. It was a terrible bread roll filled with some vegetable paste and left a crappy aftertaste in the mouth. Landing was on time, but jetway was attached to the wrong door, delaying the disembarking procsess. Our bags were close to last off, but that is just luck of the draw. For an averege score for the two flights, four out of five stars.

    Really surprised at the food and drink quality. Small kind of crummy lounge but good food and lots of liquor choice - eat, dwinQ and be merry!

    Sad empty baggage carousel with half the plane still waiting for bags after 1.5 hours. It's unacceptable.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. The Spirit Airlines website was super easy to navigate. I got on, created my account, booked my flights, and was all set within a matter of minutes. The confirmation provided all the details for my flight and my gmail was able to pull the details and add it to my calendar. 24 hours before my flight, the check-in reminder came and the checking process was super easy. I didn't have any changes or additions so I was checked in within a minute. Arriving at the gate was vibrant as the Spirit Airlines yellow set the tone for the area. The lines were long but the staff was smiling and friendly. As it came time to board, I was a part of Group 5 which is the bulk of flyers. Though the line was about 3 gates long, the Spirit Airlines staff had an efficient process for getting us out the gate area and onto the aircraft. Of course you can't do anything about the people who hold up the line, but the Spirit Airlines gate agents even had a process for them to step to the side. Woo Hoo! Once on board, the plane is standard size, and the seats aren't as tight as I have heard. I'm 6' 3" and though I didn't have ample space, I didn't feel like I was being crushed either. The seats don't have as much cushion as some of the other airlines, however, my butt didn't start to hurt until I was 2.5hrs into my 3hr flight, so I was good. The Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants are unique in style esthetic, however, their service was industry standard and they always appeared with a smile. As you pay for everything on the flight, the process of purchasing is easy and swift. The pilot was professional and ensured we had a smooth flight into the Boston area. He kept us abreast of weather changes, altitude changes, and gave us ample time to prepare for landing. I deplaned without incident and went on about my day. My return flight to Atlanta was the same experience quality. Coming back, I did add a carry-on ($70) and it was easy to add it during my check in process. Once at Logan, the kiosk was unable to scan my boarding pass, however the ticketing attendant put in my confirmation number and I was good to go. I tagged my bag, headed to the counter, dropped it off, and was on my way to security within 3 minutes. Thank you Spirit Airlines for the safe trip and streamlined standard operating procedures. You and the staff are appreciated.

    Wish I could say zero stars …read more No chance. Got to the airport at 4am My flight 6 am got changed to 12pm, then 4:30, then 11:35.... Sat at the airport till 9, then found out the flight got cancelled at 8:45. They said oh we can get you on a flight for Monday afternoon..... cruise leaves Sunday. JetBlue no flights available. Had to go with delta only thing available was 1st class... $2908 later, we are now waiting at the airport until 4:40 pm to leave for Miami. We are going on a cruise and need to be there it's our honeymoon! Spirit offered nothing to help or assist other than we can get you there two days later.... I understand there is issue and delay and cancellation.... There's no weather no issues or problems with any other flights. Their absolute best answer was $30 for a future flight, respectfully kill yourself, that's the most pathetic service, absolutely. Long story short if you plan to do anything or fly anywhere never EVER take a flight from this company.... Terrible, horrible, worse experience ever, btw this was my first experience with spirit and the absolute last. Useless worse terrible experience they should immediately stop being a company

The seats also looked new, and there was a nice flat screen to watch movies. But the legroom felt really tight for first class, and the seat recline felt very limited. When my laptop was stowed under the seat, there was just enough space for my feet on the floor. The meal was very good (always go with the chicken - in this case chicken thighs), and the flight attendants were very attentive. The plane departed and arrived on time. This kind of patience and kindness is rare in the customer service industry and even exceptional among the interactions I've had with Delta over the last 12 months. I'm so grateful to her. Then on the plane the flight attendants were so sweet. Our flight left on time. No delays and the Beef Stew dinner with roasted potatoes and string beans they served after being in the air for only an hour was fantastic. I watched a movie, drank 2 glasses of complimentary wine and slept a little with the complimentary blanket over me. Aer Lingus is definitely one of my favorite international airlines.

They rely heavily on voucher credit for refunds which doesn't include the cost of transferring the ticket dates, so they literally paid themselves $1,400 just to book us a flight that we couldn't ride because of service dog standards that we can't meet, that we couldn't know about about because they can't give us a straight answer.

This is a unique service offered only on the A321T and offered only from Boston to LAX, JFK to LAX, and JFK to SFO and JFK to SNA. The A321T is uniquely configured with Flagship First, Flagship Business, and economy. The amenities and seating in the premium cabins is much more akin to a widebody aircraft with lie-flat seating offered in first and business and seatback screens throughout the aircraft. Sadly, these aircraft will soon be retired as AA moves toward eliminating Flagship First systemwide. The seating in first is 1-1 which offers a lot of privacy. The seatback screen is large and high definition with a wide selection of movies and other entertainment options. Noise cancelling B&O headsets are also distributed. The meal service in first is enhanced versus what is offered in business including higher end touches on the meal tray like individual salt and pepper shakers and a metal napkin holder. There is also actual champagne in first versus prosecco in business. There is also a soup course in first which is not offered in business. The flight attendant was great and offered an attentive and premium service. Baked on board cookies are also offered prior to arrival. Overall, this was a great transcon flight on AA. Sadly, it's the exception and not the rule as service and amenities on other AA flights leaves a lot to be desired.

Don't fall into this trap. American Airlines is unequivocally the absolute worst airline available (yes even worse than Frontier - at least then you get what you pay for). This week I made the terribly misguided decision to book an American flight from PVD to DCA. The flight was at 7pm and was quickly delayed until midnight (I had anticipated this would happen given I was flying AA so not a surprise). What I didn't account for was a full flight cancellation despite the weather situation in DC clearing up at 8 pm (well before our flight was supposed to depart). I was still unfazed, however, since I had recalled similar experiences prior. After painful dealings with customer service I was finally able to rebook on the 6 am flight the next morning (this is at 10 pm the night before mind you). Though this was all a major inconvenience to me (my entire schedule for the following day was thrown out the window along with those of the people I was supposed to be meeting), I didn't expect much more from AA. The real shock came at around midnight (4 hours before I was going to wake up for my 6 am flight) when my morning flight was cancelled. I have to admit, this caught me by surprise - I figured that even for an abhorrent airline like American they would have some level of decency in servicing their customers. Alas, I was wrong. Cancelling a NEXT DAY flight 4 hours before boarding is well within the bounds of normal business operations for AA because coordinating an aircraft from an airport that hasn't had problematic weather for 12 hours prior to the new scheduled departure is just too much to ask for from a global carrier. I have now lost an entire day of my planned vacation along with the added inconvenience and expense associated with trying to find a place to work and eat tomorrow all while wondering if my flight will actually take off within 24 hours after it was scheduled to. Let this be a lesson for all of you and my future self - never ever, under any circumstances, fly American Airlines. They are truly terrible (which, by the way, is why they are being run out of business by United and Delta - two carriers who understand the value of actually being reliable and treating customers with care)

Although I was transferred once, the second representative was knowledgeable and provided the information I needed. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again
