I've been to a handful of Spirit's but this one located on the outskirts of Sawgrass Mall has to be one of the best. Unfortunately they didn't have a banner up so it was hard to find from the road though. **THIS LOCATION IS JUST SOUTHEAST OF BAHAMA BREEZE, SHARING THE SAME PLAZA AS TIRE KINGDOM & ABC SPIRITS** They were stocked with all of the awesome decorations/animatronics/shirts that usually sell out as soon as they're put on the shelves. Also, this store was very big compared to others I've been to & it was kept surprisingly organized. Additionally, they had plenty of staff who was helpful when I had some questions about their store policies. The only issue was they were unaware of the 10% discount that you could receive if you donated to the "Spirit of Children Foundation" which isn't necessarily their fault so much as it is their management teams. This was handled accordingly; they honored it once all was said & done. I could walk around the store for hours interacting with the animatronics. Over the years they've really fine-tuned the display set ups. It's awesome seeing so many people having fun & even getting scared by some of the animatronics! The prices aren't really that high & they have a ton of exclusive merchandise. Be sure to check your items work before leaving the store though because I've found their quality control isn't the greatest. I will continue shopping at Spirit for years to come.

Ok, I've gotten that out of the way....back to…read morebusiness.  Spirit Halloween is a seasonal retail, pop up store that takes up residence in empty stores. They open up usually around mid August and close shop a couple of days after Halloween. This location was a bit hard to see from the road. It was also smaller then others that I've been to.  I LOVE Halloween! Have I mentioned that before? Anywho, because I Love it so much, I really enjoy going shopping for costumes. I can spend hours in a costume shop! Unfortunately,  this location didn't do it for me. They had some cool Halloween decorations, costumes and accessories but the selections were a little limited for me. All of the staff were friendly and attentive and I'm sure that was a challenge for them because it was hotter than monkey balls in there!!! Apparently, the AC was not working. They had the door open but it's hot as he** in south Florida soooo....yeah. I ended up buying a costume but ended up wearing something else that I already had. I'll try it again next year!

We have visited this location a time or two because it's close to our home…read more Tonight it was busy, I guess because many people were shopping for Mother's Day tomorrow. Usually they would offer you a basket when you walk in, but I guess it was just too busy for that. We ended up buying body creams, body and hair sprays, car fragrances, pocket hand sanitizers, a car fragrance holder and home wall flower fragrances. The sales were great tonight. I had a 25% coupon in my email and I had the barcode ready at check out and I asked the woman if I could use it. She looked at me and was like what is that? She asked me was it my membership which I thought was weird because when I first gave her my basket to ring me up, she asked me if I had a phone number on file and I entered it. Never in my many years of shopping at Bath & Body Works did I ever have to scan anything for membership so I was puzzled at her question. I told her it was a coupon that she needed to scan. The cashier then took my phone and zoomed out to look at the email. I'm like it says you scan the barcode on your phone and I'm sure this wasn't the first time that a customer has used a coupon with a barcode on their phone. I found it quite invasive that she would grab my phone and zoom out to look at the email. Once she validated from reading my email that it was a legit coupon, she then scanned the coupon and must have scanned it a second time and told me that it says you can't use the coupon twice. I told her that she had already scanned it because the total had dropped from what it was before. I paid and was on my way. That experience rubbed me the wrong way. Nevertheless, I was still happy that I got a lot of stuff tonight at great prices with my coupon. The cashier could do better next time though.

The staff was very friendly upon entering but make sure you don't have any drinks or food because there are giant signs out front that tell you you can't bring it anything in and they will make sure of it. The store was very clean and well lit and I love how everything was easy to walk around and navigate. There are plenty of signs showing you the different things around as well as signs showing you what is meant for the kitchen or bathroom or other various places in your house. The staff was there when I needed it and even pointed out some of their new arrivals as well as bestsellers. I love that they have so many different options that range from trash cans that are designed like little panda bears or Mickey Mouse to kitchen supplies that includes some adorably themed spatulas with a bear handle! The prices here are decent however there are a handful of things that you can tell are very marked up because of the location as well as style of store this is. I like that there are a ton of mystery box type gifts and most of them are pretty cheap because they are little figures. Overall a very cute store that I will stop in every so often to see what is new but not a place that I will drop everything for and go out of my way to see it

When a woman has everything, what do you get her? The name Hallmark Gold Crown was affixed to the front of the store but nothing saying Amy's so asked the employee. She just said that the business name is still Amy's for now which was an odd answer. Is Amy's going out of business, changing ownership or just the name? Only recently I noticed that the Hallmark brand offers the same concept in each store of greeting cards for the holidays and figurines ect, but some Hallmarks have full jewelry stores inside or other gifting type businesses.

CREEPY GOTHIC STORE…read more.. Weird little store with unique clothing, action figures and odds & ends that conducts business in almost every major mall and have an emo and goth vibe. This store located in the Pembroke Lakes Mall, is like a mild Spencer store for the scary enthusiasts. They sell mini backpacks containing imprints of odd frowning faces or giant tarantulas. Dark gothic long pants with multiple safety pins and chains obviously not for the timid. The Pops action figures seem to be a constant force at these stores with always a tower of them floor to ceiling. A hangout spot for goth youth congregating at the front section of the store mixed with the helpful friendly staff that provided me with a 15% off in-store coupon upon my entering.
