There is also a small Rudolph the Reindeer display. They say you can listen to the music through your radio at 93.7 but I didn't try it. The display is running until January 1, 6-10 pm week nights and 11 pm on Saturday night. If you are in the immediate area you will definitely want to stop by.

The 100 Foot Christmas Tree located in Old School Square is always on my holiday must see list. The…read morelighting of the tree has taken place around the end of November or the first part of December, every single year ever since 1992! Santa always personally shows up and it attracts thousands of people every year officially launching the holiday season in Delray Beach. Every year on January 1st the tree and carousel are dismantled and packed away for next year's fun. The 3,000 branches of the 100 foot treeree are decorated with 39,000 ornaments and the top is crowned with an 18 foot high star. At night it is lit up with 15,000 LED lights. The city sets out photo opportunities around the tree and you can walk inside the tree and see replicas of four historic buildings in Delray Beach, The Sundy House, Cornell Museum, Spady Museum, and the Delray Train Depot. Each building has a holiday scene reflecting the historic building it is in. The Sundy House has animated reindeer and elves, the Cornell Museum features penguins, the Spady Museum has children singing carols, and the Delray Train Depot has a train display. While it is free to visit the tree a $1 donation is suggested. The city also sells $3 tickets at the Gingerbread House for ice skating and the holiday carousel set up outside. Visiting the tree is a great family outing and there is a parking garage next door and many great restaurants, ice cream shops, shops, and art galleries within walking distance along Atlantic Avenue. You can make a whole afternoon or evening of visiting the famous 100 Foot Christmas tree.

You have to reserve date and time on their app : Christmasin the acres, $10 per vehicle which includes a parking spot and free hot chocolate. Service: every volunteer/personnel we encountered were kind and hospitable. From parking to the serving of hot chocolate they were nice and attentive. Aesthetic: the light show was IMPRESSIVE. This is what has made its rounds on social media. There is another section called the North Pole that is made up of Christmas inflatables/decor. That section was pretty cool and drew my toddler in. There was also timed snow and bubble "shows". However, the placement/locations of these machines need to be thought through. People would crowd around and in front of the machines and would congest the main area to walk through to get to and from the entrances of the food,hot chocolate and inflatable section. Having personnel do crowd management would be really helpful and lessen the congestion. Cleanliness: the porter potties were disgusting. The church does not have indoor use of the their bathrooms so they have porter potties which is fine but it was disgustingly. And while porter potties tend to have a rep of being filthy I had just never seen them be this bad. There was no toilet paper urine everywhere and no personnel to clean up or at least do crowd control in this section. Efficiency: reservation through their app is GENIUS! it limits the amount of people and insures your "spot" . Overall, it was a nice family outing and the community enjoys it.

It is by reservation only and to make reservations, you have to download the app and book it on there. When we went, it was $10 per car load and parking was plentiful and organized. It is a walk through experience not a drive through experience. They did a great job with the lights and decor. There was a foam machine to replicate fake snow. There was a section with Christmas inflatibles. There was a hot chocolate stand. They had the music and the lights go in sync with each other. My toddler was amazed and in awe, so were we. If my family and I didn't move away, we would visit this place yearly and make it a tradition!

Sadly, this year (December 2024), our community finds that Noel Christmas Lights' work product is shoddy, unprofessional, and falls short of our expectations. As you can see from the photos, many of the lights do not work (since Day 1 of the installation), there is no discernible pattern, attention to detail is severely lacking, the lights messily climb up the trees, and overall, the display is tacky. Compared to our neighboring communities, our display has become a laughingstock in the area. Multiple calls and messages to Noel Christmas Lights Professional have gone unanswered (though they were quick to take our money). The lack of professionalism is mind boggling. Buyer beware of retaining this company to bring light to you holiday season, or for that matter, any important event (like weddings, etc.) it's been nearly two months and they still have not responded to multiple requests. This was a tragic display.

I have always wanted to visit the Enchanted Place of North Miami and tonight I finally did. They are open every night through December from 7 to 10 PM. Christmas light displays come and go but this one has been going strong for 36 years since it was founded in 1988 by Ken Digenova. The experience is free but they do collect donations for charity. You can drive through the decorated street in your car and turn around in the dead end of the cul-de-sac and head back out the street or walk through as I did. Note that the traffic gets quite backed up and you could be waiting awhile if you decide to drive. About a block away I found an abandoned house for sale and was able to park on the swale. This allowed me to get in and out quickly. This light display is simply magical. The real draw is all of the lights hanging overhead in the trees transporting you to a happy place. Thank you to the Enchanted Place of North Miami for bringing the community together year after year. Stop by if you can and share the joy with your family.

The lights were great but the traffic to get in and out were awful…read more 1.5hrs to go 6 blocks. We ended up parking illegally and walking to see the lights. Again, the lights were nice enough to walk for. The drive, not so much as the lights are hard to see as inching behind the car ahead of you. I highly recommend parking and walking. It's much more enjoyable!
