Closes too early, needed last minute costume component and the store was already closed. Was not able to complete costume.

Horrible time overall. Horrible manager assistance and slow lines. Not worth it. Overly priced for bad quality items.

I have never had a more wonderful experience at a Halloween store, and I visit a LOT of them…read more.. They not only live up to their name, they go beyond it, as they really are SO much more than a store. This place, and these people ooze passion for what they do, and it's overwhelming obvious when you see their setup & the selection they carry. There is something for everyone here! Their large array of costumes and accessories are practically all $10! In addition, their prop & decor selection is out of this world! They can easily cater to the needs of those in search of classy or cute decor, as well as those of us that go more extreme. To that end, they CUSTOM MAKE pieces. ...and these aren't your average props... they are one-of-a-kind WORKS OF ART, crafted with real care, quality, and attention to detail. Something as small as a "drink" or plate of "food" is overwhelmingly detailed, but just wait until you see their busts and full-bodied props! Themes range wildly from clowns, pirates, graveyards, and hospitals to aliens, demons & zombies ...to name a few. They are not only masters at prop making, but can also assist with your large display, party, or haunt needs. They offer a huge number of items and full displays for rent, so you don't have to commit to making your yard a circus tent year round, or literally having to hide skeletons in your closet (like we do)! I highly recommend checking their website, as they also often have a full haunted setup to walk through for as little as $10, which not only showcases their vastly terrifying experience & creativity, but is guaranteed to fright & delight you. I bring or send everyone I know. Have questions? Ask them! They will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met, and inquiries are answered. We love these people, and return every year for good reason, and I suggest everyone else do the same!

BOOOO!!!…read more Did I scare you?? No? Oh good, you must not frighten easily. Speaking of spooky & frightening things... Who's really looking forward to Halloween? Anybody just not feelin' Halloween and really wish it wouldn't happen every October 31st?? For those of you that say you don't like Halloween or are even a little scared of it... You may just be suffering from: Samhainophobia... which happens to be the fear of Halloween. With this phobia, people may experience anxiety when they THINK or even EXPERIENCE anything related to Halloween. Really?? So some people are actually terrified of... Ghosts. Goblins. Pumpkins. Witches. Candy??? Well, If those things scare you; this will definitely scare you... In my city this year, you just might see a bunch of mini 'Taylor Swifts' from all of her different Era's running around our neighborhood singing... 'Shake it Off' & 'Look What You Made Me Do' as loud as they possibly can while going house to house looking for tricks, but mainly treats? I'm talking about my 3 daughters, their cousins and my wife. But the real scary part of this Swiftie Halloween isn't going to be the 'Folklore Era' or even the 'Midnights Era'... It's going to be ME, trying to grow out a mustache between now and then since I was lucky enough to be voted by my wife and my daughters to be Tay Tay's Boyfriend, NFL Superstar Travis Kelce... Me with a mustache?? Now that is gonna be scary! lol ------------------------ Ok, now that you know what Samhainophobia is.. If you have it, think you have it, or just mad at me cause you're not a Swiftie... -----STOP-----READING----NOW----- Cause we are about to enter.... The Best Halloween Store Ever! Ehhhh....that last line is a stretch, but it's the name of the place so just roll with it. The back story... My oldest, who is 6 years old saw that they had a Halloween store here in town so I made the ultimate promise, the "Pinky Promise" to take her after school the following day. And believe me when I say this... When I pinky promise....she never forgets! So the next day, after I got home from work, we loaded everyone up and headed to the Halloween Store. (My two older daughters were so excited, you would have thought we were taking them to Disneyland). Once we arrived, probably the best/coolest part of this place was the enormous Monsters right inside the doors (a zombie looking thing, a scary werewolf, a skeleton with a pumpkin head, a bat/gargoyle guy, just to name a few), which apparently you can rent?? My question is... How the heck would you get them in your car?? They are like 25 feet tall!! After you head in, take the escalator up and into a cool, kinda creepy, and definitely a little bizarre Halloween store. It's like a garage sale with everything Halloween themed. Some stuff Is new, other stuff felt used... Odd, but we went with it. One thing my wife and I said to each other was, I definitely wouldn't want to be an employee there closing alone at the end of the night, talk about spooky! haha. They did have tons of costumes, masks, hats, Halloween accessories, Halloween makeup and everything you might need to decorate your house (inside or out). On top of the merchandise...there is a maze of some sort that you could go through for $10 bucks, that is of course if you're not scared! I would have gone, but my excuse was, "I have the kids", you know, cause I'm not scared or anything ;) Anyway... To the locals of T.O., Newbury Park, Westlake Village and the surrounding area... Come check it out if you are in need of a costume or need some accessories to complete your look. Be safe this year, bring a flashlight and if it sounds like a Taylor Swift Concert is rapidly approaching... Get ready to dance & dish over the candy! Happy Halloween!!

I came during lunch time and they were not busy at all. I found parking easily and when I walked in, they had so many options for balloon. You're suppose to pick one and then take it to counter to pay. They'll do everything for you and ask if you want weights or any add ons as well. Keep in mind that the weights and add ons are not free. I found what I wanted here and the customer service I received was also. They will also walk your balloons order for you to your car if needed.

Holly Rocks! A few days before new years a few of our party mates became ill so we had to cancel…read moreplans , Holly was so gracious I had a few items labeled 2023 and even though it's a only few days before she still allows the return. That's great customer care. Probably why some of the local stores made it through the pandemic- great customer care is the best a corporation can do during a trying economy to win over loyal customers . I noted my receipt said 7 days prior to the holiday they accept returns . I called and asked if i could return at least the few 2023 themed items and she asked do you have receipt? Yes I do! Again Holly, Thanks for the grace . with covid I've noticed a lot of companies relaxing return policies and other store policies to accommodate customers .Will shop here again and I highly recommend this store .

Finally popped over to thee Spirit Halloween of Northridge…read more.. Behind Denny's, Total Wine, Floyd's Barber Shop, and Aldi (among others) off Tampa Avenue just before the Nordhoff Street and Tampa intersection (across from the Northridge Fashion Center). This Spirit Halloween has a good amount of parking in a shared lot and a generously spacious layout inside. The displays are fun and of course, has the store's signature bright fluorescent lighting rather than a little more Halloweeny feel like Halloween Town (in Burbank)... but it's a chain thing #InTheSpiritofSpiritHalloween I stopped in to browse the inventory as well as pick up a prop I ordered a week or so ago that they had called to remind me about the day before. While the inventory is pretty varied for jewelry, props, decorations, and more in a lot of things they definitely have limited sizing for popular costumes in-store, though you can order something online (get that 20% off one item - current sale for online and/or in-store purchase) which I'd assume can be transferred from other locations or shipped directly to this store/location. Pick-up orders are almost seamless!! Samantha and the manager on duty (I'm guessing ) by how incredibly knowledgeable she was we're super helpful and thorough. I waited less than a few minutes and had my order number and ID ready to make things even easier for them. They're open until 9PM every day and until 7PM on Sundays. Time to get in the spirit of Halloween!

I came in for an exchange today and they wouldn't honor the 20% off coupon I used in my original…read morepurchase so the manager advised me to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe to get another 20% off coupon which I did and was only sent a promo code which the manager would not except. She said it had to be a Scannable code. But they didn't send me a scannable barcode in my email, so they would not give me the 20% off. She then told me to look on Instagram but there were no current 20% off coupons there or on the website or anywhere else that I could find. So basically I had to pay an extra $3.67. Not happy. The managers should have an override button in this situation.
