I am not one to ever leave reviews but here we are. You simply cannot get annoyed that a customer is upset for an actual reason. Does this look $55 dollars worth to you? The pink and yellow is what I bought and was given, the black, red, and white is an example that I showed them. When I called to ask how this could be fixed etc they said "I had to adjust it to my liking" which quieter frankly that shouldn't be my job to do when I'm paying money. I have been to this Party City multiple times. Customer service is mediocre. This location always seems under staffed, and there was only 1 cashier available when I last came here. This Party City offers a nice variety of merchandise. I like to come here for party supplies. I have not ordered balloons here. The place is well maintained. There is always plenty of parking. All in all, this is a decent Party City, but it doesn't stand out in my opinion. read more

Super helpful staff . I called in, and they answered all my questions and were willing to train me on how to use the disposable helium tank . When I arrived to the store, they greeted me. As I was going through the isles, they showed me where everything was and helped Make suggestions. Party planning can be super stressful, especially the shopping experience Luckily for me, I went to Party city on Teller Rd, and I had a pleasant experience thanks to the manager Aide Soto! I see why they made her a manager. She helped me with all my party supplies, from ballon bouquets to every single little detail! such as napkins, plates, piñata, candies and party favors! EVERY TIME I've come to this store I leave disappointed and shocked at the lack of customer service and rudeness. Every employee I've interacted with acts like they don't want to be there & act extremely put out when you ask them anything. I went today to get balloons, arrived home and they were already deflated. Called and spoke to the girl who helped me at the register and she was SO rude and even hung up on me. One of the associates who worked behind the balloon counter, Caesar, really took customer service to the next level. He greeted every person with a hearty "Welcome to the Party!", and since we came and and out of the store several times, he always greeted us with "Welcome BACK to the Party!" He was super skilled and knowledgable, but was also very helpful and considerate with his co-workers as well. Just an awesome attitude. When we couldn't fit all of the balloons into our car, he delivered them to our house at the end of his shift for no additional charge. He really made it a totally memorable trip to Party City. Horrible service at this Party City. I purchased a costume assuming I could return it on a later date if it were to not fit or I later preferred a different costume. And when that scenario unfolded I returned to the same store to get a refund and buy different costume. I was told I couldn't get a refund even though there wasn't a single indication of that being the case on the packaging or reciept. Theme parties, baby showers, holidays, balloons, paper goods, helium tanks, party favors, decorations, candy, greeting cards etc. They will do special order invitations. Prices are reasonable. Staff is not super helpful. I came here at least three times and no one ever asked if I needed help but there were plenty employees available. I had to return a couple items and it was hassle free. Party City has come through for us when we've needed party supplies. Balloons, pinatas, party favors, games, etc., they usually have what need. You can also order most items online and pickup in-store which is convenient. Customer service has always been great, which is awesome when they are visibly busy. Customer service sucks! No one is in the store, the girl behind the register acted like my questions were an inconvenience to answer. I asked her how much the single number balloons were and she responded like I was stupid. I've never been into party city for balloons before this so I had no idea their price range. I finally pick out some balloons and she tells me she will help me at the register at the opposite side she was meanwhile she doesn't even look up at me, she just points in the general direction. So I walk over and she is just standing there looking at some papers while I'm standing there looking at the wall waiting. She wasn't tied up with other customers, she wasn't blowing up balloons, she wasn't on the phone, she was ringing any customer up. Nothing, not any of those to which I could understand. After standing there like an idiot waiting for the worker to "grace me with her presence" I decide to put back my balloons because apparently whatever she's doing was more important than helping the one customer she had waiting just standing there. Got a bouquet of birthday baloons and brought them home. Within 2 hours, two of the helium baloons were empty and limp. I couldn't return them because of time constraints. Do not do a walk in order! Horrible customer service. Employees intentionally commuting fraud ( I asked for air and they charged for helium ) and I didn't realize because they don't tell you or show you your bill until after they've charged you. The employee told me it was $30 dollars and when I looked at the receipt the total charged $70 for 13 assorted color balloons (their deal is 15 balloons for $23) and 2 Mylar balloons. My sons birthday party starts in an hour and Party City just called me and told me that they did not inflate any of my balloons yet because THEY forgot to charge me an inflation fee. I placed this order a week ago and spent over $150 in their store. This was not my problem but a mistake on their part. The lady on the phone told me they called me right after I left the store and left me a voicemail. I just checked my phone and sure enough, somehow I missed the voice mail from them which said "there was a screw up on the order, call us back and I can see if we can save you a bit of money". She made it sound as though they overcharge me! There was nothing mentioned about needing to charge me MORE nor did she mention that they were not going to follow through with my order. So now I have to pay $100 more AND I'll probably be late to my own sons first birthday. I will never shop here again. So pissed. read more

I ordered a set of balloons for my daughters birthday, and they had a delivery service that came exactly on time. Covid or not, this location has always been horrific and I'm just over it. I placed an online order more than 2 hours ago and selected my pickup time, it was 30 minutes past my pickup time and the order wasn't ready. One of the kid's couldn't find the order and then magical another one did. They even called me to confirm something about the order. In the past, balloons have turned to shit in a day or two. I don't know why this location is so awful and because it has consistently been so bad versus so good, I've gone out to the Simi location for my last few orders except this one and I regret every minute of it. If there was a negative star option that would be what I would pick for the customer service experience that We had today. We drove all the way from Fillmore to this location because they said they had a certain item that they're gonna put on hold for us -which the later sold some of our items to another customer the same day! Then continued to tell us "if you want to order something you could just go online next time instead". which I thought was completely rude coming from a member of the management team. also at checkout they can even break the money that we brought in twice and they looked at me like as if it was my problem.
