The staff is very friendly and the wines are great, especially the chardonnay which is semi-dry and has an amazing taste, very different from a typical chardonnay. We loved that they allow you to bring your own food. What I did not like was that they do not allow to open bottles at the property. I realize it's a small place and they think it is more profitable to see by the glass, but we came with a large group of 9 people and because they had the policy, we did not stay for long, only doing the tasting and then each person got a glass. If they had allowed bottles, we would have gladly stayed more and would have gotten at least 6 bottles to drink at the winery.

We ordered the Brussels sprouts, the smoked wings with Thai chili sauce, the pulled pork sandwich, the hangar steak, and the burger. All were great as were the fries. The service was above and beyond. Also, they had some great specials on cams to go that we took advantage of. 10% off for dining at the brewery, a free branded glass with every 3 4-packs, and a free bottled stout with the purchase of a case.

It was around that moment, I realized I should have gone to Equilibrium. Two months later, I was again traveling through Middletown and I planned my day around visiting. The space was cool. I ordered two 4 ounce pours as a way of informing my can purchases. Photon, a Pale Ale. And MC Squared, a Double IPA. Both were very good. Reminded me of the ales at some other top breweries. I decided to buy a 4 of MC Squared and I asked the person working if there was anything special that they had in cans. She recommended Mmmosa, which is a pale ale with orange flavor. Steve did a BOMB job on his educational wine tasting. We really felt like we left with more than a bottle of wine and great flavors. The experience was truly enriching and pretty cool to know more about this winery. This guy is a genius of a chemist and does it ALL. All wines are unaltered and as raw as it gets. Pretty cool and you can only buy these HERE. Even more exclusive. My favorite part is being able to do the tasting with open ventilation and with a proper social distance. Also the best part is the outside area with a beautiful little lake and gorgeous views. There are picnic tables and plenty of green grass where you can pack a picnic and have a little picnic date. Truly such an amazing and relaxing day out here. It's even cooler to know that these guys also offer their distillery menu and tastings as well. Something cool to come back to next time! Meh is my feeling about this store. I like wine and hard liquor, my husband likes expensive…read morebourbon. It's a mile and a half from my house so it's convenient. Prices and selection are fine. Sometimes I'm asked if I need help, usually I'm not. Often, there's a group of people behind the checkout socializing, and I can't tell if they're employees or delivery people or vendors. The cashiers are usually friendly, but it would be nice if they provided a receipt every time without asking. Just because I can't return something doesn't mean I'm not entitled to a copy of the receipt. I went in today looking for a specific bourbon for my husband for Valentine's Day. Usually when I can't find something in the aisle, I know it's behind the counter. I showed the cashier a screenshot of the store's website, and he jokingly said "well at that price, it should be in the aisle on the right side of the aisle, and if it's not, then it's on the left." I went back to the aisle. A different version of it was there, the version I was looking for was not. I walked back to the register, saw what I was looking for right behind the first cashier. Another cashier waved me over. I jokingly said that I politely disagreed with the first cashier that what I was looking for was in the aisle, and she said well, no actually, he's not wrong, the bigger bottles are in the aisle, and we have smaller bottles back here and she showed me a different (incorrect version), to which I responded for her to just please look behind him, the one that I'm looking for, is literally right there. She turns. Oh hey, I was right. No acknowledgment that I was right. So I guess next time I want a $72 bottle of bourbon, I'll drive down to Viscount or Arlington Wine & liquor. The reward program here is a joke; I spend several hundred dollars a year and I'm lucky to get a dollar or two off every so often. If the employees are too busy socializing and don't even know what they stock, I'll just spend my money elsewhere.

Prices are reasonable and they have some wines I haven't seen locally before - which is a plus for me. Very friendly staff and manager. They have a free membership program. Discounts available if you buy a case but also if you buy three bottles of one wine varietal which is a real plus! They have many tastings Thurs- Sunday and if you buy only one bottle of what is being tasted you also get the three bottle discount price! Happy to have them so close by. I'll be a regular customer.

There are not much of any grounds there with the exception of the main building and a small patio area where you can sit and listen to the music if there is music that day. There is a very small menu and we decided to go with the meat board for $16 which included about eight thin slices of meat a few tiny baguettes three tiny pickles and two green olives not worth it in my opinion and have been to other places which offered the same for Less Price and more food. Several others were enjoying wine, food and the live music! We ordered 2 wine flights and a yummy fruit and cheese board. Other food is available too. The self guided wine flight included 4 samples, logo wine glass and a description of each wine ($12.00). The Dry Riesling sampler was the highlight! The other sampler wines were pretty good. We did order a glass of the Seyval Blanc and Monet. Both wines were nice. Customer service was pretty good. I know it was a self guided wine flight, but the only improvement would be the outdoor servers having some knowledge of the wine. Clearview Vineyard is located up a twisted hill. Parking is available. A very pleasant way to spend a day!
