My insurance paid for the bloodwork I was required to do in order to seek care here. I told them that I no longer wanted to do business with them as by that time I read some of the other alarming reviews. Four months later, I received a bill from LabCorp for the same bloodwork, except the bill is over 3 times the amount I originally paid. Labcorp is going to talk to my insurance since this doctor's office removed it from the bill without my permission. Not sure what is going to happen as I did this bloodwork a long time ago and now the price is 3 times the original amount. This is very shady. DO NOT COME HERE. Beware of the sales representative you talk to before you see the provider as she will try to get you to sign off on costly and unnecessary testing that has very little to do with the primary reason for coming here. This being so that they can maximize profits and try to sell you thousands of dollars of supplements you do not need.

Before injecting, Dr. Pham did not ask me to smile or move any facial muscles to evaluate my anatomy. Two weeks later, I have lost movement in the lower right side of my mouth. My speech has also been affected, especially when pronouncing "S" sounds, and it now sounds like I have a speech impediment. I contacted the office and returned to see him after one week. I was told to wait another week and it should get better. Since then no one has followed up, and there has been no improvement. I know there are risks with Botox, but I also know that with an experienced injector, these problems can be avoided. I did not feel my treatment reflected the individualized approach or patient care described on the website. I would not recommend this practice to others seeking careful, attentive cosmetic treatment.

Let's start with the arrival/check-in process. It was quick and efficient. My appointment was at 11:00 AM. I get it.....doctors can often run behind, and people can often spend time twiddling their thumbs in a waiting room. I am certain that there are times that they fall behind, but with this visit, they are three-for-three. All of my visits have begun within mere minutes of scheduled times....and that is impressive! Prior to meeting with the doctor, his very personable assistant visited with me to discuss the reasons for my visit and to gather information for him. Too often, there is a disconnect at this point - you have to start over with the doctor and wonder why you ever wasted time answering questions and providing information to someone else in advance. This is NOT so with this visit (or my previous appointments with Dr. Hiscox. There was absolutely no question that all of the information that I had provided his assistant had been relayed to him. Dr. Hiscox is the best of the best (and that is not an exxageration.). He is personable and professional - truly a delight to visit with. He takes the time to listen, explains things in a layman's terms, and does not at all rush his patients. I cannot say enough good things about him. The group that schedules further appointments and takes care of insurance and payments are top-shelf, too. From beginning to end, Complete Dermatology hits it on all cylinders. However, I was surprised when I received my bill and saw that I had been charged the new patient rate because it had been more than three years since my last visit with that practice. In my view, I am not a new patient simply because several years have passed. While I understand that practices have their own billing policies, this one felt like an opportunity to charge existing patients a higher fee rather than recognizing their prior relationship with the practice. Unfortunately, that experience has changed my opinion of the practice. Although, I still have a great deal of respect for my dermatologist and the care he provides, I have decided not to return because I don't agree with this billing policy.
