A do it yourself car wash. You drive through a mechanical wash and dry and vacuum yourself. Only 3 people working there. There is a long wait if you want them to do it for you. They provide rags. I wasn't expecting self service and would have preferred full service. But it is OK for once in a while. Since I was there it gave me an opportunity to vacuum the leaves under the hood and clean up the trunk. I'm not going to buy one of their monthly packages. read more

First off, have to say I like the place. Problem on my last wash, earlier today 10/2. Everything was going fine until the end when the car (Tesla) in front of me just stopped, honked the horn the car did not move, then I was shoved into the car by the conveyor belt. The Tesla person hit his horn, then after a few moments, and reverse lights coming on pulled up into the parking lot. By that time the person behind me was pushed into me. Second time customer. I enjoy the drive through option to vacuum/finish drying afterward. If you pay for extras, such as tire dressing, you have to ask for it to be done, by showing a receipt. This time was a bit humiliating, the employee I spoke with made a bad joke about helping me " in an hour". He was not busy with another customer, he made it clear he would not help me (and he didn't!) I didn't want to make a scene, but told him I could do it myself. I ended up calling the manager (Sal) who was professional and understanding about the poor joke. To add on to my review since they wanted to come with a response. your employee DID touch my car and close my door. Watch the footage again. And I did not make a big fuss. He literally came up to me harassing me saying I need to pay. Never in my 20 years of life I have ever went to a car wash and had to pay for suctioned air. Then once his boss came out he said you have to pay I said are you really going to trip on me for using the vacuum he said yes and I said here and handed it to them. Mind you no where on the facility does it say you have to pay to use the vacuum's. I would never want to cause a big seen you had men closing my door as a 20 year old female just trying to clean my car. I will never go back and use this, you guys made me feel super uncomfortable. If you're so TRAINED to not make people feel that way. Then maybe don't have them harass me. And yes when I came into the parking lot I went through the car wash part because I just moved to Santa Cruz so I went the wrong way. I have a cargo pod on top of my SUV. The first car wash I went to wanted me to remove the pod before going through. I couldn't do that. Then I found Splash just down the avenue. They immediately said, "no problem" to go through with it. They also did an amazing job on all of the interior vacuuming, polishing and windows inside and out. After receiving pretty marginal service at my local car wash in Scotts Valley (and after reading their terrible reviews, I now know why!) I was pleasantly surprised by this business! It was slightly more expensive, and a bit of a haul to get there early on a Saturday morning, but they were AWESOME! My car was filthy having come back from a weekend in Tahoe and they didn't charge me extra for being really dirty or for having a mid-size SUV. The exterior looked fantastic, but when they REALLY spend time on the carpets and clean your cup holders, map pockets and instrument panel, it shows! I Had my car washed at Splash Car was Nov 20, I ran home to dry it off and check on my dog and I was horrified to see that the paint above my windshield was peeled off. After 3 times back to complain they told me it was already like that and that they had it on film. I am 99 percent sure that it was not pre existing . They told me it was on film. I left my information and asked for a photo from their camera.. nothing. After speaking with the manager, He informed me they take no responsibility for cars older than 7 years which my car is 7 years. Ive owned my Honda Pilot about 9 months now. I have taken it through several carwashes with no problem... Really they take no responsibility and did not even have the courtesy to call me back. Now it is my responsibility to have my car repaired. Please think twice or three times before using this service.
