PROS: this place was a nice water park to stay at. The staff is friendly, the bars and restaurants were good, and they had more rooms than you can count. Among the staff, Griffin at the front counter was a pleasure to work with. CONS: they charge you extra to use the common amenities (pool, gym, arcade, etc) and then extra on top of that for the water park. The electronic room key also failed and the carpet in our room wasn't clean. The line for check in took a solid 20 minutes. Longer than any other place I've been to. Do not stay here. The only positive thing I can say about this "resort" is that the staff is friendly and at least handles all of the complaints from customers with grace. My parents traded their time share to stay here and reserved a two bedroom suite with two queen beds in one room and a jetted tub in the master with a king bed. Upon arrival, they were given a one bedroom with an adjoining room with twin beds and charged a $400 resort fee because there were technically two different rooms. They have never had to pay a resort fee at any other resort they've traded their time share for. That was issue number one. Later which we found out we had booked the room that was over at the willowbrook yet they put us in an entirely different room even after we complained. They said they were "looking into it" but never ended up moving us. The rooms were dirty and kitchen lacking even an oven mitt, dish towel, or even a sponge. The glasses and dishes put away were clearly dirty. So we tried to run the dishwasher, shortly after we realized it was leaking as the carpet next to and behind it was soaked. Maintenance was called and the man simply looked at it and said it wasn't leaking even after feeling the damp floor. The next day we complained again and then they sent three men to replace it with another old dishwasher likely from a different room. Also, in our entire weeks stay. I only saw one maid, once. She was vacuuming the downstairs lobby. Meanwhile, the entire second floor and on looks like it's never seen a vacuum. That was the second issue. The worst part about the entire trip was the "resort amenities" that I assumed were part of the ridiculous $400 fee...as you can see from the photos, the tiles above the pool and bowling alley were riddled with water damage and mold. One tile even fell on a man's head while swimming in the pool! I even went to the front desk to let them know that a tile had fallen into the pool in the hopes they would clean it...and the lady at the front desk just said "here are the pool hours" so I don't think she understood me. Most of the staff doesn't speak English very well though not for lack of trying and they are very nice. The hot tub literally had a layer of film on it and wasn't hot. For this reason we chose not to swim. We stayed for a whole week and by the end of the week...the tiles were still laying at the bottom of the pool. Also, the bar and the water park were closed with the exception of one day during our entire week stay. The only thing to do was go to the arcade (which obviously still cost us money) The bowling alley also had leaking ceiling tiles. They simply put a bucket under it and it was still there nearly a week later when we check out. The water park was even more disgusting than the regular pool. Not to mention half of it was closed off. This resort looks like it was once really great back when they had enough staff and money to maintain it properly. The website and pamphlets show what the resort USED to look like and are not updated. It's a shame because if they put money into repairs to restore it to its former glory, it would be a great place to stay again. This place needs new owners willing to repair it because as is, it should be HEAVILY discounted. If you're going to spend that much, go somewhere nicer and cleaner. Do not stay here. I cannot believe how much they charge with almost nothing open or working. Throughout our stay we overheard many people complaining about broken air conditioning, non working elevators, tiles falling, things not working, things not being open, and the general condition of the place. This review is being given a year after the visit due to my experiences with this company. Save your money and go to the Kartrite *NY* instead, a direct competitor of this company, who I rated 5 stars 3 years ago. My review of the Kartrite detailed that we had an awesome family getaway -- super friendly staff, a full schedule of kids' activities, scavenger hunts, and even the indoor/outdoor hot springs. It's organized, clean, and actually delivers on what it advertises. Split Rock was the complete opposite when we stayed in May 2025, while I was 8 months pregnant, as a babymoon and celebration for my first born before finally becoming a sister. From the moment we arrived, things were disorganized and poorly managed. We waited over 2 hours total just to check in in line in the lobby, and were given notice we would hear when our room was ready (a common practice advertised for families who want to use the water park before they check into their room), however no communication about when our room would be ready ever came so we waited again for an hour in the same line later on. The waterpark was only partially functional, with multiple attractions out of order, dirty bathrooms, and limited food options available. We "upgraded" to a Willowbrook suite specifically for the hot tub in the room -- which didn't have any working jets OR hot water. The room lacked basic essentials like soap, extra toilet paper, and even a trash can in the kitchen. One of the two AC units didn't function in the room. We later found out (on day TWO) that the property was under a boil water advisory, after we had already been drinking the water for our entire stay, WHILE I was 8 months pregnant. Dining was just as disappointing -- a $25 all you can eat Memorial Day "BBQ" that was actually one plate only, which included an undercooked hamburger, and resulted in my family getting sick the next day. Activities were inconsistent too -- advertised movies were changed without notice, and the WiFi didn't work when we tried to salvage the evening in the bedroom with a movie instead. The final straw: no hot water on our last morning. I chose not to make a scene during our stay because the front desk staff were clearly overwhelmed and dealing with many similar complaints. This is not a staff issue -- it is a systemic failure of this business. What makes this truly shameful is what happened in the months after when I tried to professionally handle the situation, without even asking for a refund which I really should have given the horrific standards not meeting appropriate living conditions. Following our stay, I sent a detailed and fair account of our experience similar but longer than this review. The Manager whose name I will redact at this time responded and offered a complimentary one-night stay "for two" (despite our two-night stay and the extent of issues). I responded promptly, reasonably asking about options for our family of four and a comparable experience. Then... nothing. I followed up multiple times over the course of an entire year with no response. As the certificate approached expiration, I reached out again simply trying to book something as the email requested I do when I was ready to try again. Still no response. At this point, it's not just about a bad stay, it's about a complete lack of accountability and follow-through. I hope this behavior in the year after is due to something more than lack of care. I no longer trust that I would have a safe visit for my family if they did offer me to stay. Now, I would only request a refund. I gave Split Rock every opportunity to make this right before posting publicly. Waiting a full year with no response is unacceptable. The management doesn't respond to complaints. The room descriptions are not for this facility but for willowbrook. The facility is falling down. The pool has ceiling tiles falling down into the pool and hitting guests. The carpets are not vacuumed often. Vomit has been on corridor rug since we arrived on Saturday. The fire suppression system is leaking in the bowling area--buckets are the solution. Nothing is open -- not the bar, restaurants or outdoor pool. Coffee bar only comes out after 5 pm. Charge exhorbiant resort fee for the state of facilities and fact everything closed. Only positive is arcade employees and one front desk employee. Management non existent. I've never felt so scorned as to disparage a place of business online but Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA is a dump. My daughter competes in a dance competition yearly, always during a heatwave, and their A/C is always on the fritz. Thankfully, that's no issue their year -- they have portable air conditioners! My husband and I bought a timeshare at Split Rock in 1990 and enjoyed traveling there every Thanksgiving for 11 years. We moved out of the area but in 2024 decided to re-visit. I've stayed at Split Rock multiple times, and each visit has been worst then the last. During my September 2024 stay, there was no heat, and the room was freezing. On another visit, it was nearly 100 degrees outside and the room had to AC, making it impossible to sleep. The rooms clearly haven't been renovated in years- everything feels old a, worn and neglected. Basic necessities were missing: no pots, pans or cooking utensils and not even cleaning supplies to wash dishes. The water pressure was terrible on BOTH visits. Calling the front desk didn't help, the phone just rang with no response, though I'll note the staff wasn't rude when I did manage to speak with someone in person. The water park was another disappointment. Half of it was closed, and what was open was in awful condition- algae, mold, missing tiles and even hair and bugs in the jacuzzi and shower. It felt unsafe and unsanitary. To top it off, the resort advertised 4th of July fireworkks, which never happened (the purpose of our trip). No one bothered to communicate the cancellation , leaving h=guests standing my the lake for over an hour waiting for something that wasn't coming. And to make matters worst, I couldn't watch the fireworks from aroung the country because the wi-fi was terrible. I only had 4 channels in my room and they would periodically (often) lose the signal. Split Rock has become a place I cannot recommend. The lack of maintenance, communication and basic amenities makes it a compete disappointment! read more

If I could rate this "resort" with no stars I would. This place looks like it was literally abandoned at least 10 years ago, which is probably the last time it was cleaned. There were holes in the tub, stains on the floors throughout the complex and in the room, the entire place was in a state of disrepair. I won't speak specifically to what I saw in the bathroom, but I will say that it is nothing anyone would want to see anywhere in any bathroom... I had booked this location for three nights, but could not stay beyond one night as the entire facility was disgusting. Do not book here and certainly do not stay here. Good morning, I am so disappointed that I was not informed prior to my arrival on 5/23/26 that there was a power outage from 5/22/26. I booked a 2 bedroom at the Town Center from 5/23/26-5/25/26 and was given a 1 bedroom. Annually, I make 2 trips to splitrock and I'm so disappointed that this time it wasn't as pleasant. Very disappointing stay (April 17-19, 2026). The shower was filthy, the room wasn't stocked for three guests, and there was no housekeeping--just bags of linens left for us to manage ourselves. The kitchenette lacked basic items, and window coverings didn't provide adequate privacy. DO NOT STAY at split rock. Do not stay here. This hotel is not only unsafe and unsanitary it is in a state of epic disrepair in practically every area. Even if you can get over those failings the staff lie to you about fixing things, the general manager does not show up to address issues, there was water literally pouring from the ceiling and part of it collapsed that is only one of the 100 other issues we had with the hotel and she just never showed up. This hotel should be closed down and an some type of criminal and/or fraud investigation opened due to there very clear and blatant lies and false advertising of this hotel. This was the worst place we ever stayed. Please do not stay here. From our 86 degree sauna room? Dirty , nasty pool, Waterpark and nothing works. No Ice machine in the entire huge hotel, the one elevator for a huge hotel Doesn't work..good luck..,lugging your stuff up to the third floor. Waterpark all of The slides were broken and not in use. If there was a zero I'd give it !! During check-in, the people in front of us were needing help because the room they checked into was already occupied. I kinda laughed at time for my check in and said I sure hope that doesn't happen to me, but guess what we are in a building a mile and a half away from the main building . The elevator didn't work. We are on the third floor and we got to our room. It was occupied we went to the front desk to check out and leave and get a refund and we're told the manager. We'll have to help us with a refund in the morning. Wish I would've read all the reviews before we even tried this place. We expect a full refund. If not, we will also report to the business bureau. I am not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling reading a lot of these reviews and not sure why. We came up with some friends and stayed in a villa across the street from the main lodge and had a wonderful time. It was two bedrooms with a hot tub and sauna. It was amazing we walked into a very clean environment and just had to set it up for ourselves for the next couple of days I always feel that people come to certain places with certain expectations that are not easily met also there is very little that can't be fixed so before you complain about it see what can be done to rectify the situation. All we did was enjoy our three days up in the Poconos. We took some drives around the area, cooked some fun meals and went to the main building one night to go to the game room play some. Participated in bingo, trivia but not bowling, which was available to us. The staff here is fabulous and helped any way they could. It snowed while we were up there and the plows came quickly and cleared up everything as quick as can be to make the driving easy for us very easy. We left 2 days early of a 3 day stay on 4th of July! First family vacation with our little one for her birthday. Boy was coming here again a mistake. We booked a one-bedroom apt. in Willowbrook knowing we would have a kitchen to prep food for the baby and a clean place to relax. We have booked this room before and was great. Luckly our AC worked but that was about it. We arrived (7/3/25) in our room to find not a TV remote in sight. Called the "front desk" 4 times in a 6-hour time frame and visited once. Was told every time they were "working on it" or "we are in the middle of remodeling and looking for them". How do you not have TV remotes in your rooms and have 2 TV's. Family friendly is a joke. Not a single dish or pot in site. Not even a coffee maker. Had a blending and a toaster... How are we supposed to do anything in this room that was said at booking it had all the amenities. Its not like we booked though hotels.com we booked with Split Rock. But wait... there's more! You think this room was to code.... FIRE CODE! Nope. No fire extinguisher, No exit plan, no elevator inspection. Yes, there was sprinklers but at this point I doubt they worked too. We told the front desk about the fire extinguisher. Again, was told, "we are in the middle of remodeling" After driving 3 hours with a baby, we stayed the night and packed all our things up and "checked out" at 7:30 am. We told the front desk we were checking out early (7/4/25) and wanted to speak to the manager and a refund for the 2 days we won't be staying. The lady didn't ask why we were leaving or anything. They said the manager will be in and 3:30pm that day and she will call us with a refund. As we were checking out there was a BOIL WATER notice on the counter from MAY 14th. This was not informed to us when we arrived let alone on the counter at 4pm check-in the day before. Fecal bacteria in the water. How are you supposed to boil water without pots and pans. Thank GOD I gave my baby bottled water I brought with me and not sink water for her bottles. After not receiving a phone call from so called Kim the manager, we called (7/7/25) to be jerked around again with "the manager isn't in today and won't be back till Thursday." So, you're telling me you don't have a manager on the ground for DAYS at a time and the only person that can help us is a manager. At this point, Casey/Kacie/Kacey, however you spell their name, was getting loud and snippy with us on the phone as all we wanted to get this resolved. She hung up on us. As a result, I received a $200 bill from EMS and an empty promise from Kelly Roschbach for a complimentary stay. Every time we left the room, we had to wait for a security guard to walk us back and unlock it, which continued until about midnight on our first day. The room was extremely outdated and in serious need of improvement. There was a terrible smell throughout the room that was absolutely disgusting. The water was either freezing cold or burning hot, making it impossible to shower comfortably. To make matters worse, out of the nine rooms my family rented, we found bedbugs in seven of them. When I went to speak to the manager the next morning to report the issue, she casually asked if we would like them to wash our clothes and said, "It's not a big deal." Stayed at Westwood part of Split rock (timeshare section)- they shouldn't even call themselves any part of split rock. The rooms are ok , dated but ok. You have to pay a fee to use the indoor pool, arcade, theatre and anything else in MAIN building we're everything is at . No shuttles to main to get there, nothing to do in section but a restaurant or two. Most timeshares I ever been to offers kid activities Atleast. The Water park at main is pricey and outdated and needs upkeep. They also have another section Willowbrook which is handled same way- there is no incentive for anyone to buy a timeshare here. This hotel has massive violations. The elevator wasn't working. They have construction and waste debris not contained in their upper parking lot. The shower didn't operate in our hotel room and front desk didn't seem to take note or seem concerned. The amenities, if you could call them that, were reserved for private events without advance notice to other guests. Do not stay here. If you have a reservation cancel it now. No heat, fridge was damaged, no breakfast accommodations for the amount that was paid. Definitely was not worth my stay. I'm hoping my friend had a great birthday. But I felt it could have been better. Customers service is very poor. I called 2 different types of numbers to try and speak to someone about my property being returned but I can even get ahold of someone online. Customer service is disgusting. They aren't helpful rather the complete opposite. Very unethical and incompetent. They don't care about their customers. They have a nasty attitude. Do not waste your money in going here. Stayed in one of the rooms at Willowbrook building 1 for a night - I'll start with the positive - the bedroom was nice. Jacuzzi tub was nice, functional, a beautiful with mirrors and tile. The bathroom looks to be half updated with a toilet that was low to the ground and small and the vanity looks like it's been there since 80s. A coat of paint could change the whole look. Main space was nice and very clean with a nice dining room table and beautiful lighting, but the "sofas" were strange very uncomfortable - more like futon camp style extra bed than a sofa for TV watching. Worst part was the kitchenette - although it was clean, it was not functional other than storing some items in the fridge. No coffee pot or tea kettle, no dishes, no cookware, no utensils, etc. All cabinets and drawers were completely empty except two drinking glasses and two coffee cups. The countertop by stove was burned/warped, too. If you don't care about the kitchen space - I recommend this room. read more

First, the decor looks like it's been there since the place first opened up. Very dated. The sofabed mattress definitely needs replacing as it was hard and uncomfortable. There are too many dangerous things for a small child to get into. There were outlets that my child kept trying to touch and there were no outlet covers. I had to chase him around to make sure he didn't get into anything. The room itself has an open concept kitchen and no way to keep a child from going in there while you're cooking. The biggest security issue is the door. You can't lock the door. If a child pulls the handle the door will open and they can run out. It happened in my room as well as my sister's. My mother and I both slipped in the bathroom shower. Some safety bars would be helpful. I would not recommend going if you have smaller children, but if you must, bring a roll of duct tape so you can cover the exposed outlets and maybe something to tie the cabinet doors together. read more

We booked a 3 day family stay at the lodge from December 27th to December 30th at ~$315/night. - Lodge: It feels like an abandoned place. There is no front desk manager. If you try to call the phone number provided at the front desk, no one will pick up. I asked when Breakfast would be served. The resort staff said 8am, the janitor said 9am. No one had a clue and during breakfast you had to walk around the lodge to find staff to replace empty food items. - Amenities: The lodge has an indoor pool that has mold on ceilings, dirty jacuzzi (lots of sand inside) and the sauna was broken, dirty towels everywhere and no one on site. It looked like it had not been cleaned in ages. There are also supposed to be dining options but again, everything was closed. - Rooms: Internet is weak and spotty. Absolutely no way to work or do a zoom call. Also, our TV did not work (no cable and unable to connect to internet). Others on the same floor complained about brown water coming out of their sinks. - The town center resort: It takes ages to check in. The resort has several amenities including arcade, bowling and indoor pool. The arcade was entertaining for the kids but many of the games were broken. When you try to exchange the arcade tickets for prices ... good luck finding staff to do so. The indoor pool was cold and again not well maintained. It felt dirty (I.e, trash in the corners, floors black from dirt, etc.). - H2ooohh waterpark: The "ohh" probably stands for "oh my"! Two adults and one kid will cost you ~$100. That does not include a locker ($22/day) and towels (not even the hotel towels are allowed). The whole place was disgusting. There was mold, trash, dirt. One kid fell of his tube on the slide and rode down without it. His shirt was covered in brown gunk when he got out. I don't understand how this park passes any inspections. The hotel management is fully aware of the issues. Every time I went to the resort front desk, someone was complaining about their stay. Needless to say, we checked out a day early and got another hotel. For over $300/night this place is a rip off and management should be ashamed of it. read more

What could improve? What could get worse is more appropriate. Firstly, member of front staff at the water park was clearly high, and couldn't answer a simple question. Despite his efforts, we still found our way to the arcade and "bowling alley." Half of the games had missing or broken parts, such as missing basketballs and ski balls for games. When we went to the bowling alley, we had the same experience with those desk workers, who struggled to put the bumpers down for several minutes before putting us on another lane, which wouldn't reset the pins. After moving to the third lane, we then kept getting messages that our game had ended and needed to be extended every two frames or so. When we asked for a refund, we were told that all sales were final. Sales shouldn't occur in the first place if equipment is in such comical condition. The workers kept walking away from the desk, causing lines to form and other potential customers to walk away. I don't know what this business model is supposed to be, but if they're going for weaponized ineptitude, then they knocked it out of the park. read more

Welcome to Split Rock Resort--where health codes go to die, and you too can live out your dystopian vacation fantasies for the low, low cost of your dignity. Let's start with the bathroom stalls, which came with a fun surprise: no locks. Nothing screams "relaxing getaway" like bracing the door with your foot so nobody walks in mid-squat. Right outside the event space? A porta-john. Placed next to the water truck for drinking water. Because nothing quenches your thirst like eau de toilet. Our room? Imagine a sauna, but one designed by people who hate you. No A/C. No fan. No windows. The thermostat held steady at 89°, which, coincidentally, is also the last year the place saw maintenance. Some rooms won the lottery and got portable ACs or fans if they had windows. We got a free trip to heat stroke. Housekeeping? Never met her. No clean towels. No one to help. Turns out they clock out at 5pm--so if you find dead bugs, dirty pillows, moldy windows, and someone else's ancient dinner on your stove, just go ahead and tuck it in for the night. It's your problem now. Also: No pots. No pans. But hey, there was a boil water advisory! Good luck heating your cursed Pocono tap water in your imaginary kitchenware. Speaking of health hazards, let's talk mold: in the "gym" (term used loosely), on the hotel room windows, and all over the gym ceiling that's slowly collapsing. Bonus! Exposed and broken outlets decorated the walls like rustic industrial accents. Charming! The side gym "dressing room" for our dancers had a cockroach doing a full warm-up routine, and the "privacy paper" on the ballroom windows (another dressing room) was peeled back in spots, just to add a splash of voyeurism to your child's lyrical solo. Doors propped open. Broken door and window locks. Squatter vibes. Felt like we were extras in The Last of Us, minus Pedro Pascal to save us. Some emergency exits were taped up with literal signs that said "broken." So yeah, if there's a fire? Hope your jazz hands double as CPR. One friend had bed bugs in the bathroom, but no bites so maybe they were just trying to cool off too. Our fridge didn't work, but the freezer did--so we stored water bottles in it to avoid dying of dehydration. Innovation meets survival. And if you're thinking, "At least there's a pool!" No. The outdoor pool was a myth, and the lake? Unusable. Algae bloom. Even the front desk didn't know how to get there. We asked. They checked Google. And finally, the water park, or what was left of it, had just been turned on during our stay--because nothing says safety like firing up half-broken water attractions and having people sign a waiver basically saying, "If your kid dies, that's on you." And the manager? Either a ghost or hiding in a broom closet. Some guests heard her telling staff to charge double for anyone who canceled or complained. Classy. I am currently vacationing at the split rock resort. I am timeshare's partner at Willowbrook. This place is the worst place ever. The dishes have not been washed from guests to guests. Room and bathroom are dirty. The place has ants and bugs coming into the kitchen and room. Horrible resort to be at. This is the worst decision I have ever made by becoming a timeshare's partner. The hallway area is a mess. The rugs have not been cleaned and smells. Jets in the hot tub is not working. Toilet is unclean. What is mess. Absolutely Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here My family and I stayed at Split Rock Resort in Rooms 5818, 5810, 5806, and 5816 (previously 5815), and it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a resort. The list of issues we encountered kept growing throughout our stay, and by the time we left, we were beyond frustrated. First, the rooms were in terrible condition. In Room 5818, we had to set the heat to 90 degrees just to get any warm air, and even then, it wasn't enough to make the room comfortable. We also found multiple bugs, both dead and alive, throughout the room. Brown water was coming from the taps in multiple rooms, and at times, there was no water at all. This is absolutely unacceptable. In Room 5816, where my brother and his wife stayed, the same heating issues, brown water, and eventually no water occurred. After requesting basic kitchen supplies like pans and blenders--which were promised when we booked--they waited for hours with no resolution. Even after following up, nothing was done. The Wi-Fi was completely unreliable, constantly disconnecting and offering no stability. On top of all of this, when we raised these issues with the front desk, we were told that there was no manager on-site until 3:30 PM, so we had to wait for any chance of a solution. To make matters worse, we decided to get food from the Mexican restaurant on the property, and after waiting over an hour, we found out they had forgotten to put in all of our orders. The lack of basic competence here is shocking. The list of problems just kept growing as we were finishing up our stay, and I cannot recommend strongly enough that you do not visit this resort. This was a completely unacceptable experience, and we are serious when we say this place is not worth your time or money. Save yourself the headache and avoid Split Rock Resort at all costs. read more

Administration agreed to refund me my money but never did. I contacted them via numerous emails and phone calls, NOT 1 REPLY. i had to contact Better Business Bureau to get a refund due to no running water..................... unbelievable. Spit Rock should be ##it Rock - elevator not working (we are seniors) refrigerator leaking, sauna not working (we were looking forward to getting in it). We had two raggedy washcloths, look like the cleaning rags. We had to constantly ask for dishwasher liquid, pods, plastic bags, etc. They finally brought it to us The rooms need a massive upgrade. It's one of those situations, this is what we ordered, this is what we got. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! IT'S A NIGHTMARE Let's start off saying that this was one of the worst experience I have ever had in a " hotel". I was supposed to have had a 2 bedroom suite. It wasn't. There was mold in the overhead lighting and the refrigerator was rusted and was from 1962 ( old AF). I went back down to change rooms because my friend has allergies and the room was a single. I get moved to another room and that room was the same layout. In the 2nd room the AC was broken. So I go back down AGAIN to change rooms because it's unacceptable. I tried to get a refund then but the FD manager said she couldn't do that. At this point I haven't eaten and it's 6:30pm. I had dinner reservations (it was my birthday) I needed to make so the FD manager said she would take care of it and not to worry. I get back and she gave me a new room. I'm so exhausted from traveling all day and from all the stress I couldn't wait to lay down! I get to the room AND THERE WERE PEOPLE IN IT!!!!!!!!! SHE GAVE ME AN OCCUPIED ROOM!!!!!!!!!!! At this point I lost my shit. I had to laugh because you can't make this shit up. I got it in writing that I was to get a full refund. I drove 35 minutes and stayed at a Fairfield Inn Suites that evening ( around 11:30pm). The next day checked with the young girl at the front desk the after I did hair for a wedding party. She said 7-10 business days ... wellllll guess what? I called because it was still in my account and not refunded. I disputed the charge with my cc company and I called them to make them aware. Went here for a dance competition and this was such an amazing event. This resort is huge enough to host an all day dance competition. Also, they have a pool and a spacious hot tub. In addition to those features, the resort also has a water park and the park was fun. I enjoyed my time here and looking forward to coming back here. read more

I know there're a lot of bad reviews, and when I read the reviews, I wanted to cancel the reservation, but I am glad I didn't. Check-in was quick and easy; we had no problems. I had to pay $53.00 extra for amenities. The front desk did proved a map to get to the resort ( still got lost) driving @ night. The suite was nice, the couch cushions needs to be replaced (time for new furniture). The remote control in the living room could only change to channel 4 and adjust the volume. There was no remote for the TV in the bedroom called the front desk and was given another remote (not a big deal had firestick to watch movies). The next day, I went to the activity center bowling was only $4.00 a game, and when you get a strike, you get a free game. Also, went ice skating, played tennis, and basketball. DO NOT STAY HERE. We came here for a family reunion and were very disappointed. This hotel was probably really cool 50 years ago but it is currently very outdated and needs remodeled. Several things to highlight - Waterpark had 2/3 broken slides and another area was not operating - Air conditioning barely works and the hotel was 100 degrees and moist all weekend - Several people in our group complained of broken tvs, red stains on carpet, peeling paint in showers, broken cabinet doors, brown bath water, green bath water, duct taped ac window/stand alone units, hot air blowing out vents, etc - Smoke alarms went off twice simply from a guest using the kitchen to make a bagel and another for popcorn - Ignorant check in staff at front desk - 1 person working the arcade and bowling alley running back and forth - Arcade machines kept breaking down mid-game repeatedly Other things to note that were not broken but odd. - Bathrooms are tiny. The door opens and smashes into the miniature sized sink. You have to squeeze your body through the door to get into the bathroom and then close the door to use the sink. There is zero space to get ready. - The bathrooms in the master bedroom are split into two rooms. One for the toilet and sink. Another for the shower. Opposite sides of room. In between both doors is a large Jacuzzi tub with carpet all around it. Overall, not a great experience to say the least. We spoke to many other guests who were also dissatisfied and experienced similar issues. We wish there would have been a notice sent out in advance for the waterpark having multiple rides shut down... telling kids that the only thing they were looking forward to wasn't working was a huge let down for them. We would have booked elsewhere if we had known. read more
