Always nervous bringing my baby girl to a new groomer. Especially one with blacked out windows and even one negative review. But we're in from out of town and she's been going on multiple walks a day as opposed to just going in the grassy backyard back home so I needed to get her paws clipped down at the very least. This place was close and had enough great reviews that I felt ok with bringing my 9 month Pomskydoodle who had only been professionally groomed 3 times. Well 90 minutes later I was told she was done and she looked fantastic. She seemed happy... not scared like the first time she was groomed at home. I didn't want her washed, (because I had already done so twice in the last month) but I think they did so anyway. But she looked and smelled and felt so good, I was happy with whatever it was that they did. It was $50 (cash only) for what was supposed to be a scissor trim, paw shave, full brush out, teeth clean, and hygiene shave which in my mind was a bit much. But after seeing her I even gave $10 more as a tip. If I were here longer, I'd definitely go back.

I'm new to Long Beach. Was hoping I could establish a new place to get my poodle groomed on a Regular basis. They were able to squeeze me in this morning, which I really appreciated. I picked her up just 2 hours later. Very fast service. I also appreciated that. When I got her to my car, I noticed that she had a gash on her elbow. It was pretty deep. There was no blood on her fur, so that told me that they new they had cut her and cleaned the wound. It would have been nice if they had been honest with me and taken the time to apologize instead of acting like nothing happened. I would not have been mad. Sometimes this happens, but own up to it. I will not be back

I would definitely give this place 5 stars and I'm extremely cautious of where I take my dogs. I moved to Long Beach from Sherman oaks and just couldn't continue to make the drive every 5 weeks with 2 dogs in my car so with hesitation, yet a feeling of comfort I chose this place and I'm glad I did. They really take care of your dogs! I picked them up today and they had cute little bandanas and their hair looked so poofy and cute! They love to show off their haircuts it's so good for their self esteem to look good!! I have tried one other place in LB and they just didn't do a good job at all which made me hesitant to try this place but rest assured, if you're a diva about your dogs this is the place to go!

We have a 5 month schnauzer and this was his first grooming. I know it wasn't an easy task to get him to sit still and cut his scraggly hair but they did such an amazing job and were fast too! Only about an hour to groom him! They suggested we come back more periodically so he can get used to the groomers. Will be back ! They even gave him a cute bandana!

Unfortunately I had been a terrible mom and let my dogs nails get super long since he will squirm away/fight to the death rather than let me cut his nails. The last groomer I took him to was not able to cut his nails since that is not his favorite thing to have done so they only bathed him and left his long nails while charging me over $50. I called Spoiled Paws and they were able to fit my dog in for a same day bath and nail trim for only $20. They were able to get it done (I am not sure how) and in only 45 minutes, so I will definitely be coming back.

I was calling different dog groomers comparing prices after Yelp reviews, and I got a great price for both . I got lucky that I was able to take them the same day . They were done in less than 2 hours . "wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am"! No bad cuts , dogs look happy not scared. The lady who answer the phone and helped me at the door very nice and helpful. I'll be back . Oh it's on a busy Main Street. I parked on the back parking lot of the subway right next to it . But I made sure I got in and out quickly.

They take care of my Ziggy really well and we've been going to Spoiled Paws for a long time! Their prices are also very reasonable. The Paw Spa was quick and easy to work with. I texted the phone number listed on here and they responded within 24 hours. My dog is incredibly anxious when it comes to the groomers so I always expect a phone call updating me they can't groom her. I dropped her off at 8:30a and she was done by 10a! Heads up: it was cash only! I didn't know that until when I texted them to see if she was ready. So I had to stop by the ATM before which took some time out of the way. I parked in the Smart and Final parking lot because there's not much room on the street for parking. When I got back I noticed how strong of a smell the shampoo is, it was bothering my nose, so I know it had to be bothering my dogs nose. so I had to wash her off, but other than that she looks great! read more

This place is amazing! exactly what I've been looking for since the place that I've been taking my dog for five years closed recently. I was taking my time finding a place to groom her and I am so happy with Spoiled Paws Grooming. They were professional and very kind, they did an excellent job with my dog. She actually looks better than she ever looked at our old groomer, and I could tell that she was actually happier. Such a great groomer. We were evacuated from our home in Pasadena and my dog really needed a bad. I phoned Spoiled Paws based on their great reviews but knew it was unlikely I could get my dog in that day. But they were so kind to find room that morning to wash and bathe our golden retriever and did a beautiful job. If it weren't so far, I would bring him there regularly. When I picked up my dog, they also stuck a big bag of dog food to donate back to the Pasadena Altadena community. Highly recommend. read more

Fast and efficient. Easy to make an appt by text. As soon as I walked in she was ready to go for my pups appointment. Was in and out for anal glands and nail clipping in less than 10. They even spray off your pets bum after anal glad expression so it doesn't stink. Will def return ($20 for nails and anal glands). read more

I took my dog here for his first grooming, and when I came back to pick up my pop, my dogs hair was a total mess. It was like a child had groomed her her and her pulse were not groomed. I had to finish grooming her when I got home, which took me an hour to complete and I paid $80 for this hot mess never again will they see my dog there? read more

This was my first time taking my 10 year old to a groomer. New to the area I had to rely on Yelp to help me find a place. I liked their reviews so gave them a try. Very glad I did. They went way beyond my expectations including trimming his nails, teeth gel, cleaning his ears and his glands. Plus putting on a shedding conditioner to help release as much fur as possible. He does not get a hair trim. I thought the price for all of that was really reasonable. He was very happy when I picked him up and Connie the owner was really nice and very easy to work with. This will be my dogs regular spot moving forward! I can really see how much more they can do, versus us at doing it ourselves at home. read more

just got back from picking up my fur baby here and I'm so impressed! I just moved to longbeach and have been searching for a good dog groomer for my long-haired dachshund and I'm happy I found spoiled paws. My dog gets super nervous and shaky when I first bring her in to a new place so when I let Connie know just how I wanted her groomed I handed my nervous pup over to her and knew Connie was a loving dog person by the way she cuddled her and talked to her. So that made me feel good about leaving for a bit. Literally about an hour later she called and said she was ready to be picked up. When I got there my dog was so excited/happy and had so much energy which told me she wasn't scared or mistreated in anyway. And she looked so cute! they did such a good job on her exactly the way I asked. I made an appointed the morning before. Parking and traffic is somewhat an issue but definitely manageable. And best part is it was only $45 included bath, cut, nail trim and anal gland. read more

This will be the 4th time I've taken my dog ( yorkipoo) here and each time she comes out looking so cute!! The owner is very nice and they also have reasonable pricing which is great!!! 35 for my dogs trim ( also depends what kind of dog you have so the price Varys ) Overall great experience for myself and doggo (: Highly recommend!! read more

I called for a "same day" shampoo for my pup and got it. Connie and staff are very accommodating. Good thing....she showed me a flea on his belly so she gave him a bath with flea & tick shampoo. I recently started taking him to the park. She said it's flea season. I got him a box of Advantix from Unleased" after I dropped him off. He looked so good when I picked him up. Stay Away! I took my 14yr old basset to be bathed & nails clipped, picked him up 1hr later with a bleeding sore in the middle of his back. Was told it was a hot spot which I knew he didn't have (how could he twist around to the middle of his back?) Looks as if he probably had a skin grown that was torn off when combing, my issue us why not tell me what really happened instead of lying? I will never go back! Amazing how the owners response to a bad review faults the dog owner every time, so we can assume this is your normal business practice? Hmmm beware dog owners ! read more

Beware!! They cut your pet and try to conceal it. These are some pretty deep cuts. Won't be going back there that's for sure!!!! No wonder my dog was terrified when I picked him up and would not stop hugging my sister in the car. Poor baby. :( Slow down, ladies! Pet safety first before numbers. read more

LOVE! This place is ran by some really sweet ladies and they give my pup a BEAUTIFUL trim w/ bath and brush for $55 (he is a 55lb Australian Shepard). When I pick him up he has a cute little bandana on him and smells amazing! Worth. Every. Penny. The facility is CLEAN, the staff is very FRIENDLY, and the prices are GREAT! I'll definitely be back. We brought our 13 year old maltipoo and our recently rescued shitzu for the first time. We were worried about the rescue because she's very skiddish and we thought the groomer would have a time tough with her. To our surprise, both dogs were done so quickly and the cuts are adorable! Our 13 year old suffers from severe anxiety and when we picked them up they were both happy and not trying to run out like he usually does. This place is amazing and the price cannot be beat. Connie and her staff members are professional, kind, and efficient. I have been going here for at least 3 years and it is the best experience I've ever had. My 12 year old dog used to shake uncontrollably when I took her in to the groomers. Connie and team have made her so comfortable that it's no problem getting her there anymore. Thank you Yelp for helping me find this place. I am satisfied with the work that they have done here for my little pup. I called the day before to request a price and if they had anything available. I believe all dogs are $45 for the basic and if it's your first visit they'll take $5 off :) I arrived 10 minutes after the appointment time and when I arrived thank goodness they weren't busy. I had to fill out a form asked if my Lil pup had any special needs. This was a second time I have taken my Lil man to a groomer and I have no idea what to request for. Pretty much just cute and fluffy. Hah. They were on time when they told me 2 hours as I got there and the woman brought him out... O my he was a brand new Lil pup. Handsome as always with a new bandana ;-) They sell pup ties that they make themselves, if they had a bow tie I would have bought it without hesitation. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

So happy we found Spoiled Paws! Staff is super friendly, helpful and gentle with our dog. We usually take our dog to the vet to get his nails trimmed but they're not doing it due to Covid. I called a few groomers but most required purchasing a full grooming service - which we didn't need. EL & Kyla went to the grooming area and I set myself up in the waiting area to watch a movie on my IPad. Did I mention they have free guest Wi-Fi? I was also offered beverages several times and checked on to make sure I was well and comfy. The entire staff was friendly & so we're most of the clients. One client even sat and chatted with me while he enjoyed a nice flute of champs. I snuck peaks at my baby girl who looked pleasantly relaxed each time I played spy. It looked like a total spa day for her. When I knew she was almost done I went to the nearby market. I was completely unmissed because when I came back my little girl was still happily vibing with her new friend. I saw people use the self service wash which looked amazingly stocked. I usually self wash my baby somewhere else, but decided she was at a point where we would both benefit from a real groomer. So glad we did. When all was said and done Elli looked amazing! Her double coat was fully blown out! Shiny shiny shiny! Her nails were beautifully trimmed. She came out happy, bandanad, bowed and bedazzled! Total love this for her. Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. When I picked her up, Elle (we share a name!!) was holding her & Lily wasn't shaking?? She also wasn't desperate to leave; she was so chill?? Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! When we arrived, the groomer, Gloria, greeted us warmly, really listened to what I wanted, and immediately understood exactly what my pup needed. When I picked him up, I was blown away. He looked AMAZING--calm, happy, and honestly like he didn't even want to leave. I love that they're kennel-free, so the dogs aren't locked up before or after grooming. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. This was hands-down the best haircut he's ever had. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

But my doodle girl always looks fluffy and amazing when she comes in for maintenance grooming. We are currently scheduled for a full Summer cut and make note - they only take a limited amount of doodles since they take a longer time to groom. Hence, the appointments are more difficult to get for us. It's not located in the nicest area and often times, there is poop on the street walking to the groomers. I do wish they would clean up that part of the neighborhood more. In summary, they do a great job. My girl smells great when I pick her up and their prices are reasonable. Please do not change that! 100% WOOF Recommend!

We LOVE Spoiled Paws. Connie, the owner, is GREAT! She genuinely cares about the pets. She has great customer service and the prices are very reasonable. The groomers are THE BEST! Our dog, Molly, did not like going to the groomer....that is, until we found Spoiled Paws. Now, she goes willingly to be groomed and when she's ready to be picked up she is absolutely beautiful. When we take Molly for a walk, people comment on how beautiful she is! I would highly recommend Spoiled Paws to everyone. You will be extremely pleased with their customer service and the quality of work. The business is clean, they do fantastic work and they don't keep your pet locked up in a cage all day!!!!
