First of all, setting up the appointment was really easy. I texted some nonsense about what I wanted and when I could do it and within a few minutes my appointment was booked. I didn't have to call and go back and forth playing the whole "what about this day at this time? No? What about that day and that time?" game. I went in with dark brown roots and blonde tips and came out with a really sexy chocolaty/auburn blend. Marissa, my stylist, is very talented and hooked me up with exactly what I was going for. I ended up spending quite a bit of money because I bought some shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner on top of the service; but the color and cut were very reasonably priced. The salon itself is very clean and trendy and the staff are all really sweet, professional, and easy to talk to. I myself will definitely be coming back and would recommend to all. read more

I had never been to this salon and called for a last minute appointment for shampoo, cut and blow dry today thinking I probably could not get in but I would try anyway. There was one appointment available with Slava. When I got there he was still with another client so Kassy shampooed me while I waited. (Thanks for great scalp massage Kassy!!) When Slava was ready for the cut, he explained that he is Russian and has trouble with his English so I was worried I wouldn't be able to communicate what I wanted. I had a couple of pictures of a general idea for the cut and explained the best I could. He asked me a couple of questions and seemed to know just what to do. Wow! I booked an appointment with the salon, via text message, and was lucky enough to get paired with this amazing stylist. This was my first time here when I called they told me they had opening at a certain time I told them I was going to be a bit later since it's far for me and they said no problem we will see you at whatever time you get here. I was also told the haircut included a blowout. When I got there initially it was going well but I had a tangled knot since I have curly hair and that's when the experience turned south because the stylist told me she wasn't sure she was going to have time for the blowout after untangling the knot which did not take too long, which I don't understand since she significantly cut my hair leaving it above shoulder length so it's not like it was going to take too long to blow it out, and also I was told it came with the haircut. I'm sorry but my hair knot on my curly hair comes with the territory of a haircut. I felt bad for not noticing it before I got there. Also, the picture I showed her of the haircut I wanted is not even close to what I came out with. Obviously she said she was not going to blowout my hair even-though I was told it came included and I really wanted it and it was one of the reasons I came to the place. I was bummed.Will have to keep looking for another place :( Update: I decided to flat iron my hair because i had a feeling it wasn't going to be good and unfortunately I was right. My hair is uneven and I have a long strand that should have been cut with my bangs. At this point I just hope it grows fast enough. I will say I called to let them know about my experience and they offered me a blowout or a cut with another stylist to try and correct it, but the offer is only good for 2 weeks but since my hair is really short and uneven now, 2 weeks is not enough time for my hair to grow out a bit for me to feel comfortable to cut it again. it.
