Unfortunately, our experience at Mazda Sport North in Orlando was extremely disappointing. Our engine blew unexpectedly, so we needed to buy a new car as soon as possible. We walked in genuinely interested in seeing a CX‑70 or CX‑90 and ready to make a serious purchase. When we arrived, the only person who acknowledged us was the receptionist. We walked the showroom, went outside, sat in several cars, and even spent time looking at a CX‑90 inside -- and not a single salesperson approached us. No greeting, no "Can I help you?", nothing. What made it even stranger was that several employees looked directly at us as we walked by, but still didn't say a word. Most of them were gathered around the receptionist desk, talking among themselves while we were clearly browsing without assistance. As we were leaving, I said "Thanks for all your help" (yes, sarcastically), and someone actually replied "You're welcome," which honestly made the whole interaction even more awkward. Needless to say, we won't be buying a car here. When you're dealing with a stressful situation like a blown engine and you're ready to purchase, basic customer service shouldn't be too much to ask. read more

Our salesman showed us a couple models in our price range (at least initially). After the dealer fee and other fees, the price dramatically increased. I asked if there was any discount available and the salesman quickly brought the sales manager to talk with us. My wife and I found out through the discussion that the price is what it is. No follow up on how they might be able to find something to fit our need and price range. We left. Fast forward. We purchased a newer used car at the other related dealer down South. (Totally different experience and I reviewed them separately.) Since the dealers are connected, I bring the car here for servicing since the location is convenient. So far the service has been very good. The service techs have provided good listening and communication skills. I appreciate video recap by the mechanic sent to my cell phone and the recommended servicing or repairs that can be reviewed and accepted also on my cell. Loaner cars are available upon request. If you're a "VIP", you'll automatically receive a discount, but you can also look for coupons on the dealer's website where appointments can be scheduled. The waiting area contains comfy chairs, high tables, WiFi, water bottles, and a fancy coffee machine that can create a number of espresso drinks. The men's restroom has been clean. read more

A month ago was researching whether a Mazda would be my future car, went on site and spoke briefly with Andres Ramirez, who showed me a 2025 CX-5 Select, per my request. He was not being a pushy salesperson, which was appreciated, instead walked me around, answered my questions, and simply gave me his business card, and I was on my way home to continue my research. This Friday I returned and was able to get Andres once more to help me get a 2025 CX5 S, that was at the South location, driven up. I was not a fan of the vehicle colors available at North. Spent a couple of hours at the dealership while the documents were done: credit approval, title being changed, etc. Bud was friendly while getting the financial dealings completed, and Ms. Beth, sat with me in the new car as we set up the mobile app on my cellphone. Great and easy dealership. This review is about my experience selling my car. Kyle reached out to me on Facebook to inquire about a car I had listed. With a bit of negotiating and some clarifying photos, we reached a fair agreement - something I, as an introvert, very much appreciated. I hate, hate, HATE the traditional car sales business. I did confirm that assuming everything checked out, the manager would offer the price we discussed. I came in, and it was super easy working with Kyle. Manager confirmed the price after quickly checking out the car. Paperwork was done within 10 minutes but had to wait over an hour (it was a Friday at close and I changed the time last minute earlier in the day due to work so that's really my own fault) but I enjoyed the machine cappuccino and wrote up this review so it wasn't too bad. Walked out with paperwork shortly afterwards. Note, they can't cut checks on Friday afternoons, so don't plan on selling them if you're not comfortable walking out with payment. They do give you plenty of documents stating the payment is owed and it gets cut the following Monday. Also, they'll offer to bring you home through their corporate Lyft account! Great perk! At first glance, the dealership looks decent. The sales team was courteous and professional, I was greeted upon arrival, and the online sales rep had already given them a heads-up about my visit. I originally came in to see a Tundra with 80k miles, but when I got there, it was a different story. The truck looked rough, the bed was destroyed, and it had a strong smell of sweat and chemicals. I figured minor things could be fixed, but as I started driving, I checked the odometer and saw 101k miles, not 80k. I immediately turned around. I asked to speak with a manager about the pricing, and after two hours, I finally got a response: a flat-out "no." In the meantime, I test-drove a Forester, and while inspecting the engine, I noticed rat droppings--which raised serious concerns about how well this dealership cleans and maintains its used cars. As a mechanic on the side, I know my way around cars, and it's disappointing to see dealerships buy vehicles for $1-2k, list them for $8-9k, and not even bother with proper maintenance or cleaning. After being passed off to another salesperson and having to explain myself all over again, I just had to laugh at the situation (good thing I had some popcorn). Then, after all that, I got home and received a text: "How about we knock $1,000 off the truck?" Seriously? Since when is 20k miles worth just $1k? Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. Came in to check out a used truck listed for $14,900 and got treated very poorly, from the moment I walked in I was greeted at least but the sales rep Luis had little to nothing to say wasn't interested at all in trying to even sell me the car I came to look at just had a very stiff attitude. I ended up talking more to the sales rep than he did to me! just an awkward feeling. Bottom line I ask for prices as well just cause I made the 45 minute commute and they have more than $4,000 EXTRA in dealership fees it's just outrageous. I read multiple reviews on line before coming on how much of a scam this dealer is and how rude they are here. I should have taken in to consideration the reviews. Now look at me one of them now. Had a service appointment today scheduled for 11:15am. Arrived at 11:00, checked in and told them I'd be waiting. We're a single car family so no one to pick me up. I sat there for 3 hours and 40 minutes with no update. I finally went to check on the status and was told they are trying a part and if it doesn't work they have to try another. Does it really take almost 4 hours for an oil change and to fix my radio? Did you not read what I was bringing my car in for to be prepared and know how to fix it? The last time I was here for service it was a totally different experience. I received updates via text from the technician, given a timeline of how long it would take. So far, their service have been pretty good. Our latest visit was only for a tire rotation, which was going to cost me $20 + tax. Somehow they applied a loyalty discount, or something, and I got it for under $16 all in, and that includes a car wash. Took a total of an hour, which is pretty darn good. People at the dealership are all professional and courteous, and serious about masks. So, as long as they keep the good service up and don't gouge me, I'll continue to be a happy customer. * I didn't want something else to sidetrack this pithy review, but Yelp has seen fit to COMBINE all the ratings and reviews for the previous owner, Corey Fairbanks, with the current one (Sport Mazda). I don't think this is right. Also irritating is the fact that they have almost 300 reviews they don't 'recommend'! Whoa! What is going on! Made the mistake of being interested in a used car they had. They sent me an invoice with an extra $1,700 in fees, which was 17% of the vehicle's cost before tax, tag, and title. They were mostly BS fees added to an already overpriced vehicle and higher than most dealers, including my local Jaguar, Mercedes, and Mazda dealership. This review specifically relates to the service department. A year ago I had a specific repair/service done to my vehicle, that after should have lasted another 50-70k miles before the next service. This dealer provides a video summary of their inspection on every visit showing all the of the work that needs to be done. I save every video. Well recently after going for an oil change, I was told I needed the same service I paid over $500-$600 dollars for last year in the newest video summary of repairs needed. The component was in "bad shape." I immediately told my service assistant how could that be as that was done last year. I pulled the video from last year on my phone and had them look up prior receipts. They were perplexed and immediately tried to explain it away. You either did the work or you didn't. I came in for an $80 synthetic oil change, and came out paying $237. To add insult to injury, if I did what they told me I needed, it would have cost me $290 more. I have a Mazda 6 that is less than two years old and has fewer than 20,000 miles on it. The car is well taken care of and is driven under normal conditions. The oil change was approximately $80, which I think is a fair price. They scared me into purchasing a brake fluid replacement flush, which added another $135. When I subsequently read the maintenance schedule for Mazda, there was no recommendation for changing the fluid at this interval, and I had at least another year to replace it. They stated that the fluid was dark due to a breakdown, which in hindsight I do not believe, nor have I ever had any car needing brake fluid replacement/flush in any interval near this. Unfortunately, when they scare you into something as serious as brakes, you take it seriously. They also recommended a cabin air filter, stating mine was dirty, along with a foam cleaner for the evaporator core. For this service, they wanted $160. Fortunately, I did not go for this service and subsequently went to another mechanic, who put in a name brand cabin air filter and sprayed the evaporator for a total of $35 and literally five minutes of labor. The mechanic also stated that the filter really did not need replacing, but because he had already taken the old filter out to look at it, he might as well replace it. Another service that Sport Mazda tried to push on me was a wheel alignment, due to uneven tire wear. The other mechanic also looked at the tires and showed me that the tire wear was totally even and the car did not need their $115 alignment, telling me that they probably would not have even put it on the rack. I went to a Mazda dealer figuring that although their prices might be slightly higher than other mechanics, they would be fair and honest. I am appalled they were trying to take that much advantage of me as a young female customer, coming in for an $80 oil change. If I had taken all of their suggestions, it would have cost me more than $500 for a routine oil change. This is just wrong. read more

However Beth and Jose were on the ball. Beth said she got with the GSM Paul and they were all about giving me the information that I had requested, NO GAMES here, everything was clear and no hidden extras. Everything was itemized.
