It would be a good idea to have a mechanic come with you to check out vehicle you are looking to buy. Had t replace catalytic converter. Had a mechanic inspect the Kia and that was the only problem. However it cost another $1800 to replace the converter. read more

This is a quality used card dealership! I was in an accident recently (total loss) and had to buy a car quick. I searched through autotrader.com for used models I like and found a well-priced Lincoln at this location. They were very helpful showing me the cars I was interested in without trying to upsell me to something out of my budget. Also, they were very direct about potential problems associated with any vehicle I was looking at. However, there aren't problems on their lot because they have all been maintained by an on-staff mechanic. The sales people took excellent care of the title and registration paperwork (no funny business like some used auto places do). I can't say enough about John and his team Wayne and Chris. They are very responsive, honest and easy to work with. I just drove off with my 2007 Jaguar XK convertible which I absolutely love. It was a great price a lotto we 50k miles and in great shape. There was a problem with the alternator so John said he wanted to make sure the car was good so they hold it for about two weeks had it repaired with a new alternator and it's now perfect. My wife was recently involved in a pretty bad car accident, in which the insurance company declared her car a Total Loss. I negotiated with the insurance company for the best settlement I could get for the totaled car, but even then, we weren't working with a lot, and we needed a reliable car that could get my wife and daughter to work and school. We'd seen a few of Sensible's listings online, and they definitely seemed like the best bang for our buck, so we checked them out in person. We went by on a Saturday, and the guy who worked there was great. He explained the way they work, and he showed us all over the lot and showed us cars based on what we were looking for. It was a very chill / low pressure situation. I was very pleased with him. We then checked a few other lots, only to find that they were all charging ALOT more for vehicles that were pretty comparable with the ones we saw at Sensible, so in the end we decided to go with Sensible once the settlement check came in. There was a small issue with the car we bought, but they got us right back in to their mechanic, and they had it fixed within a couple of hours. We really appreciate that, especially since they didn't have to, since the car we bought was "no warranty". The fact that they wanted to help make sure the car was running great for my wife and daughter, shows me that they are quality people, and I am very thankful that we found this place. This dealership should be named "Nonsensical Choice". Drove 2 hours, had cash for purchase. Wanted to buy a 2006 Pontiac Vibe with 170k miles on it. Car okay for 13 years old except for quite a few dents and dings, rear wiper not working and other small things including large scuff / scrap in dash straight in front of passenger.They wanted $3,488, I offered $3,500 out the door with title only, no tag or registration. Keep in mind they've had this car for 10 months! We got it down to a difference of $137 dollars. All I had was the 35 hundred.They let me walk away for the $137. Salesman informed me they have cars on the lot they've had for THREE YEARS! What a business model !! How do they stay in business? read more

This is my first experience in buying a used car and it was HORRIBLE! The owner, John, is extremely rude and will treat you poorly if he doesn't like the price he's selling the car at or if you point out issues with the car. In the end, I left not because of the price, but because of the way I was treated by the owner. Wayne and the team at Sensible Auto completely exceeded our expectations in every single way. He was upfront, honest and extremely low pressure. He let us test drive a car by ourselves. The price was set and unchanged, and as we were inexperienced car buyers, he did not play any games or try to up sell us. In comparison to all the other used car places we have been to, this one tops the charts on every level. The car selection is wide enough but the lot itself is pretty small. They make an effort to keep the cars gassed up and run them weekly. He offered us the VIN number look up and was very upfront about the condition of the vehicle, even welcoming a local mechanic in to inspect it.
