A group of friends have been playing at this Hudson River Pickleball place for about 8 months for…read moreat least once a week regularly. But, I am giving "zero". Not for its court price. (Quite reasonable) Not for its court quality. (Low ceiling, but ok) I am giving "zero" for the owner's unacceptable attitude in addressing an incident. The manner he talks to customers, abruptly, absolutely rudely, no explanation what so ever. And if you reply and ask for "why", his response is "You cannot use the facility anymore. I can kick you out." Authority .....? "I can kick you out and ban all of you." Yes, he is one of the partners and yes, he may have the authority. But, if there is no sign of what to caution, and no warning, no explanation, then he cannot enforce such. His attitude of disrespecting the customers condescendingly was so unacceptable that we ended our membership there. We will not be going back.

And after just one visit here I'm upset I never tried this sooner. The staff here is really friendly and helpful and will be glad to answer any questions. I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back. I was here with my 7 year old and we both had a great time. Great for families as well. Great vibe here. Highly recommended. Price is good as well.

I really enjoy their teaching styles. The lessons are fun, very instructive, and fellow learners are always very friendly. Reasonable rates ($25 for ~2 hours). Highly recommend. They offer indoor winter classes as well! Classes are offered at this location (Fort Washington Park) and Frederick Johnson Playground.

I first joined in 2018 and it's sad to see how downhill the corporation has gone. The glory days ended shortly after the COVID pandemic. Since then, they've closed over 7 NJ locations, cut down opening hours, cut down on group classes, removed towel service, and have limited sauna and pool hours. I understand that it took time for gyms to recover and get back into full swing. But it's 2025 now. There's way too much competition in the fitness industry for 24 to be operating the way it is. My biggest ick? The gym is not maintained well at all. Machines and equipment are broken down for months. There's a hand dryer in the women's bathroom that has been out of order since last Spring. There's a constant foul smell in certain areas, most likely due to broken pipes. There's always a problem with the AC during summer months, making it uncomfortably hot. The entire facility needs a deep cleaning from head to toe. What are we paying a maintenance fee for? Come on... Putting the negatives aside, there are some positives. *The floor has all of your basic equipment: treadmills, bikes, stairmasters, squat racks, barbells, benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, cables, and machines. I can recommend this gym for beginner to intermediate lifters. It's not a bodybuilder or powerlifting gym. *Their Zumba classes are SO MUCH FUN. Don't judge a book by its cover... get in there!!! Take Lucia, Lynn, Nina, or Melissa's classes. Check the website for the full class schedule. *They have a sauna, steam room, pool, and showers with limited hours. I only use the sauna and it's relaxing when it's not super crowded. *The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. They're personable and will remember you. *My membership allows me to have access to other regional locations as well as bringing guests. Pricing is a bit all over the place. It all depends on when you join, what kind of membership you have, and what sales/promotions are going on. Some members pay $24 or $34 a month, while others are paying $54. It's best to ask the front desk what the lowest rate is. Overall, it's not the worst gym in the world. It gets the job done for my fitness routine. I just wish the maintenance was a lot better and that they would have later hours. Honestly, I've been thinking about finding another gym. If it weren't for the friends and community I've made and my lower price rate, I would have left awhile ago. I'm willing to spend more $$$ on a membership for a much better experience.

At 7pm a young man by the name of Elijah came to the pool and yelled everyone out, pool is closed…read more I jokingly said, gee I wish ya'll were as aggressive about cleaning the bathroom/showers and filling the soap as you are about shutting amenities down. He informed me that he's not the janitor and I needed to chill. He said he told management about they situation and they don't care. I know that's not the case because they do. Sadly, anyone who used the bathroom there today went right back to the gym equipment sans handwash. Elijah had much bigger fish to fry.
