The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and very family-focused. The summer camp is exceptional. Our kids have been going for years, and there is truly no other local camp that compares. The camp includes daily swimming and tennis lessons, provides food, and--most importantly--really teaches kids how to swim properly and play tennis. Even if tennis isn't a child's sport of choice, it's such an important life sport, and the instruction here is outstanding. The swimming program overall is fantastic and genuinely builds strong swimmers, not just confident splashers. The tennis program is equally excellent for both kids and adults. Adults can jump into matches, enjoy friendly competition, and feel part of an active, social tennis community. What really makes EFC special are the shared moments. Friday summer nights are the best--kids playing in the field with friends while adults relax on the patio. In the winter, family skate nights are such a highlight: kids skating, great dinner service, and adults hanging out with friends. It's a super fun place to spend time, build friendships, and make lasting family memories. We're so grateful to be part of this community.

In the winter, the club has an outdoor ice rink and our daughter learned to skate and joined the figure skating team eventually competing in Lake Placid and NYC. While our daughter was having a great time at the club, we also got to participate in all of the sports activities offered including tennis, paddle, pickleball, squash and working out in the gym. They have about 12 indoor hard courts that are very well maintained and well lit. The pricing here is by far the better compared to all the other places in the city. Off Peak it's $60/hr, Peak $105/hr. What gives this place the advantage is that it's much easier to book courts here at your preferred time than other places in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens. Especially if you are doing for more than an hour and/or more than one court. The place has a cool lobby / waiting area, with a snack bar, ping pong, and a pro-shop for racket stringing. Locker room is small but extremely clean and well maintained. The staff here is very friendly. My tennis league has voted to make this our weekly practice spot. My friends that I've played with here are huge fans.

It has something for everybody and members include Teaneck residents as well as non-residents. I look forward to the summer all year because of the Swim Club. I start my day with a 1/2 hour swim in the lap pool and then often stay and read or relax in the shade, although if sun is your thing, there's plenty of that, too. There is a wonderful management team who keep the premises pristine and well functioning. It's a haven for young and old alike- my granddaughter loves coming to the kiddie pool and playing with the toys the Swim Club provides at the pool. Overall, TSC members are courteous and there's a warm, friendly atmosphere about the place. For me, it's worth every penny!

I was also skeptical of these simulators, I didn't expect it would be very fun or engaging, but it is. I just did the driving range simulator, where you hit off of an automated tee. Great setup and it lets you concentrate on hitting the ball. I'm as much of a beginner as they come, but even after just one session, I have noticeably improved and can't wait to come back.
