They did a really professional job on my dry cleaning. They have a system where they text you when your dry cleaning is ready. Mine was ready in 4 days. I've been looking for a regular drying cleaning place and I thought Spot dry cleaners would be it. I dropped off 3 coats, 2 casual dresses and one scarf last week. The man behind the counter didn't mention anything about pricing. He asked me for me information and gave me the yellow copy invoice that did not include a price quote. Like someone else mentioned in their review, the workers at sport dry cleaning don't adhere to the state mandatory ordinance of wearing a mask. None of the workers at sport dry cleaners were wearing masks. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer at the counter though. The man behind the counter had really gnarly nails. His nails looked like tree bark. Not sure if it's fungus infection or from the dry cleaning chemicals. Pandemic or not, he should really wear gloves. So I got a text message today that my dry cleaning was ready to be picked up. When I arrived the same man with the gnarly nails was at the counter, and I gave him my invoice to which he brought over my dry cleaning along with an itemized list with pricing of the order. I showed him my 25% off coupon from yelp that I got when I checked in the first I was there dropping off the dry cleaning. The man said that he didn't know how to apply the 25% off because the itemized invoice with the gross total was already preprint and I should use the coupon next time, but then he pulled out a calculator and tried to figure out 25% off the gross amount. He kept mumbling as well. I gave up and just took out my credit card to pay the full amount. He said that I could come back with the credit card receipt to have someone else adjust it. I'm not coming back here. When I got home, one of my coats had lint and appears to be dog fur or cat fur which weird because I don't have a dog or a cat so not sure how well they cleaned it. The rest of my dry cleaning looks fine I guess. Looks like my search for a go to dry cleaners continues. read more

Kudos to George for providing an amazing service at the lowest price in town! They're always accommodating my last minute requests and even delivering my clothes at a moment's notice. The quality of services amazing and I will never go anywhere else. I recently read a review by someone named "JW"... I understand where he or she is coming from.. but when I went there today everyone was wearing a mask and the gentleman with the "gnarly nails" was wearing gloves.. by the way, it's a medical condition that the man has that is not contagious and it is certainly not fungus.. not the prettiest thing in the world, sure.. but it's not going to get anyone ill. JW, if you're reading this, please give them another chance.. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. And if it goes sideways I'll pay your bill. George takes pride in his business and is a family-oriented man.. he has a huge heart and is a lovely human being. I found out recently that his wife is battling cancer.. so George if you're reading this, you're in my thoughts. read more

BEWARE OF SEXIST AND MISOGYNISTIC OWNER I've been coming to this cleaners for about a year. My latest experience was pretty terrible. I dropped off 4 blankets, 2 of which were regular machine wash. Had I known I would be charged $25 to wash newborn baby blankets that could be thrown in a machine I wouldn't have given these two to George. Regardless, In addition to the blankets I dropped off 4 panels of velvet drapes that I purchased from west elm for my daughters nursery to be hemmed and pressed. I was charged nearly $400 for a single needle straight hem stitch across 4 panels of 40" wide fabric which is very pricey. When I picked them up I noticed an orange colored stain on one of the panels and immediately pointed it out to George who instantly became defensive. Without really looking at it closely he was super quick to blame me or the manufacturer. I proceeded to say, ``These were brand new right out of the box when I brought them to you, never been hung before, didn't you give them to a 3rd party?" and he immediately stopped me, said "if the woman who hemmed these heard you say that she would be very offended." George did not allow me to even speak and basically treated me so poorly for even questioning the stain which is totally unfair. Any customer would naturally question the cleaners if they received back an item with a stain on them they never saw before. He was trying to undermine me the entire time.....that wasn't the worst of it though....After I confronted him and told him that I feel uncomfortable for being accused of being offensive and I didnt appreciate the comment his response was "you're just pregnant and hormonal" Long story short George was Rude, Out of Line and extremely passive aggressive. I've spent a few thousand dollars at this place and was happy to know I could take my clothes to the cleaners nearby where we live but I would much rather take my business to a place that is a little bit more grateful. I'm simply exercising my write to use a public platform that allow for customers to share experiences. Everything stated above are all facts from my experience I would greatly appreciate it if you would refrain from the continued manipulation and gaslighting. After I wrote the above review you immediately called me and tried to resolve this issue. Telling me how bad you feel for treating me that way and tried to offer minimal solution. Your solutions were on your terms only. When I asked for a refund for a specific dollar amount you refused and pushed something else you had in mind...leaving us without a choice other than to dispute the un authorized charge entirely. No one is here for a free ride. We are fighting for what is owed back to us and for what you and your company put us through. You never submitted an invoice prior to charging the card and when asked for an invoice you lied and said it was emailed to me later admitting over the phone that it was never sent and apologized to me for that. You then asked me to no longer text you back because of yours and your sons heart condition but then a few minutes later jumped on yelp to accuse me of attacking your small business. I'm sorry George but you are totally out of line and should reconsider your company structure entirely after this experience. read more

She quote me the price and when I pick it up, he charge me double then what she said and then he took my clothes dry clean it without asking me if I wanted dry clean it and I asked him why did you at ask me because I just want to him my pants ,I didn't want to dry clean he said because the lady won't do the Tailer if the clothes not dry clean, this man is really horrible. Spot Dry Cleaners is the best Dry Cleaner I have ever used. I brought in a sweater that had been covered in blood from a cut on my head. It was one of my favorite cashmere sweaters and I thought it was ruined. Sweet George took so much time to soak it and hand wash it and was able to get out all the blood out of a very light cream sweater. I know this took him a lot of extra time, but he did not charge me any more for all the time and effort he put into it. I was lucky enough to discover George and Spot dry cleaners through a mailer that was sent to my house. I live in Lake Sherwood and Spot Dry Cleaners is in Calabasas, but it is worth the drive!! From the moment I first dropped off my items to be dry cleaned there I knew I had found a new dry cleaner. They are the best cleaners I have ever used. George is always so kind to me, he always remembers my name and most importantly, my husband's shirts and my sweaters, coats and dresses are perfect when I pick them up.
