Once all the power and heat was turned on, Jay went above and beyond going through all the parts of the house. He pointed out everything they needed to repaired and gave rough estimates and referrals throughout the house. The thing that really stood out though was that Jay was straightforward and honest in his assessment. I work on a lot of houses, so all the figures he gave for estimates were pretty much in line with what I would expect. Not too high, like he was selling me on a repair I didn't need. But also not underselling the cost of what needed to get done. To me, there's nothing more valuable then getting accurate information. Don't try and overinflate or udnerflate what costs will be. Just say it like it is and let me decide how to proceed. I will absolutely be using 4 Seasons for future Home Inspection work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a home assessed.

Used Paragon for home inspection purchasing a new home. Upon inspecting the crawlspace they…read morereported that there was evidence of rodents. After purchase of house I contracted rodent expertise to secure home and clean. And subsequent inspections exposed a complete need to replace all insulation in crawlspace, rodent breaches throughout HVAC (and heavily chewed up and TAPED TOGETHER HVAC in crawlspace), DISCONNECTED HVAC in crawlspace and a leaking water pipe in crawlspace. None of those items were mentioned by Paragon and cost over $10k additional $ to address beyond anything they pointed out. Paragon has taken zero accountability for these huge misses and not gone so far as to even offer a refund. What is the point of a home inspector if they can do a terrible job and there are zero repercussions?
