This woman was meticulous and gave a lot of directions which I dubiously followed. She told me to wait 8-9 hours before showering, no more than 10 or else I would have a smell that wouldnt easily go away. I began to smell it at 5 hours but waited the full 8 and of course, that smell was sticking to me. I showered and my tan went down a few shades. Yes, i followed directions: I didn't use soap or rub my tan off. She gives a ton of directives because I think she knows her tans aren't going to last. Her tan sucked in color and lasted 2 days despite buying the exact banana boat sunscreen she highly recommended to keep moisturized. Worst $50 spent. And she took my number for what? She took her time and gladly explained her high quality product in detail to me. The only time I tan is for special occasions and I usually got to At The Beach and use the Mystic Tan and since I'm ultra white I want my stomach and arms and legs to get great coverage but it would barely get my stomach tan and my arms were splotchy. Laura on the other hand makes you feel comfortable and she'll talk to you and ask you what you want and make sure it's done right. I saw immediate color and even coverage! I got soooo many compliments on my tan! It looks very natural (like you just spent a day at the beach and got the tan with NO sunburn) and stays great if you follow the after care instructions. Definitely worth every penny! I'm kind of a shy person but finally being able to feel good about my body and the way it looked I definitely had more confidence and walked taller :) thank you Laura! I contacted Laura because of the ratings and reviews. This was my first spray tan in about 4 years. When i made the appt for 7pm i was never told i would have to rinse off at a certain time until after the session was over. This info would have been helpful and a determining factor for my appt time. After the session was over, I was told to take it easy the rest of the night and wake up at 5 am (because of the 7pm session time) to rinse off and moisturize. I was never given pre-session instructions BUT i knew from past experience to shower shave and exfoliate. So i did. i came home, took it easy and got up at 5am (on a saturday morning) and rinsed off, and moisturized. Basically, i did exactly what i was told. Today is Monday (3 days post session) and my tan has faded substantially and/or is spotty in places. my legs are darker than anywhere else. my back is back to pre-tan color. needless to say I'm disappointed. won't be coming back. read more

I've been coming for about a year and I love my color every time. She always knows exactly what shade will look the best on you depending on the occasion (vacation, wedding, weekend getaway.) I just went in to Laura for the first time today because I am going to Stagecoach this weekend and I wanted to have a nice, natural looking glow. Thanks to Laura, that is exactly what I got. I am so happy she was able to fit me in on such short notice and give me a nice, natural looking tan that doesn't even have a hint of orange! (and that was something I was very nervous about since I am SO WHITE), but it turned out the perfect bronze shade I was looking for and it came out even and subtle. I got nervous when she said she doesn't spray knees, but now that it has set a few hours, I see why. Despite what you may think, you can't even tell, it all blends. Also, she is really nice and it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable which is a major plus! Also, since she uses all natural products, it doesn't have that weird self-tan smell! It's great! Don't go here, unless you want an uneven splotchy tan! Save your $40 and go somewhere else. The people who wrote these reviews must've only written them so they could get $5 off their next spray tan. First off, I made my appointment over a week in advance and the day before she asks to change my appointment from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. I took every precaution before and after to take care of my spray tan and one arm was significantly darker than the other. I had splotches under my armpit and abdomen area all within one day of getting sprayed. Not only that, Laura contacted me the next day to find out how my tan was and I told her I was bummed about the splotches and she didn't even offer to fix it. She said it was because of the way I put my dress on? Any professional or person for that matter who knows good business would at least offer to fix it. And to top it off; before I made my appointment I asked her if her product contained parabens (an ingredient proven to cause breast cancer). She said, "NO, my product is all natural only beets, sugar, etc." When I got there and read the product's ingredients on the bottle...THERE they WERE listed in the ingredients.
