I just can't do this anymore. I traveled all the way from Downey on the bus, 90 minutes total, only to arrive at 10:35 to find the place closed and locked. I knocked and called for 20 minutes, knowing the lady sometimes locks the door. But no one was apparently there. Another customer showed up to tan but I told her what was going on so she too was disappointed. Keith seems like a great guy. It's the two women there. One seemed wholly inhospitable to me. The other was more friendly just a little though. I was embarrassed for her when I exited my tanning room one day and she was standing nearby and jumped startled when she saw me like I'm some kind of criminal or something. Many criminals have pale skin like her lol. But how can I return after this, call to confirm someone is working? But no. I'll just have to go to Downey Tanning Co not far from my home. read more

Nice enough standard and cheery teen girls to set you up but what is up with all the hassle to cancel!! It's another lame ploy for a company to get one more months pay. You have to write up a paper with all the info. Mail it and get it verified with a receipt at a post office! Pathetic. They wait until the bulbs completely run out before changing them too. I actually was in one with missing bulbs before! Also, there's absolutely nothing special about this tanning salon. Might as well find one that's special. Actually I retract that statement, the one thing extra is the yummy mint left for you once in a blue moon. This place is a joke I need to add one more thing: This place doesn't clean their beds because I got a chronic, hard to get rid of, skin fungus directly after going here! My dermatologist said it's straight from a tanning salon and this is the only one I went to at the time. I showed the front desk girl and she just shrugged it off and said it was nothing. I think my dermatologist is probably more knowledgeable though! If I could give a negative review... This place should be shut down! read more

Sun Club Tan has been my tanning-go-to for over ten years, since i was in high school. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive and fair! I have always gone in and out of bed tanning here and never had issues with billing or with canceling/ or even reactivating monthly memberships. I also am a spray tan member, who spray tans religiously once a week. Not only the beds, but the spray tan booth are always clean and ready to go. Even if there have been minor issues in the past, I was able to address them with their amazing manager Jazzy and problems were taken care of by my next visit . I don't know what I would do without sub club tanning. Tanning business's seem so run down and hard to come by these days, but definitely not the case with sun club. I've been a member at Sun Club for many, many years now which I think says a lot for an industry where customers might tend to jump from place to place...I personally wouldn't even think of going anywhere else for my tanning needs. Thank God I got this on a Groupon and didn't spend much. I only got to use it twice since it was not very close to where I live about 15 min away. On my third attempt I got there 3 min before they closed not knowing that's when they closed. It was a Saturday before 5. The door was open and the open light on. She's all sorry we are closing and another girl was running out half naked and even made a comment about running out half naked because she was being rushed. I asked for the owners name and number. I got the name of John and a number that ended up being cooperate. I left a message and have zero expectation of even a call back. Not that I need their services anymore after I go on my cruise in the morning. There used to be a time when customer service mattered and being there before doors closed meant you still got services. If it was a bank,grocery,urgent care, restaurant or store of any kind etc. One would still get to order their food or purchase what they needed and the employee would just have to work a little longer. The is not the case with Sun Club I would like to think it's just this employee and location but probably not. Hope you had a fun hot date you needed to get to blondie. read more

I like the program they have, there's a monthly membership of $24, or per session pricing pf $19.99.They recommended the membership since i m going to take several sessions before i can get the color that i want. i can cancel any time, but requires 30 days of notice for cancellation. Today was the first time I stopped by the Sun Club. I needed to find a local tanning salon, as the one I previously used had closed. The girl at the front dest, I should have got her name, was extremely friendly and approachable. She explained how they do a month to month contract for only 19.99 a month, plus an initial 20 dollars. She gave me a quick tour of the salon, and showed me how their beds work. The only complaint I have is they charge 50 cents for the stickers, if you so choose to use them. Many places just offer them complimentary. However, I was impressed with their great customer service and I look foward to being a regular customer in the months to come. read more

I've been to all 3 of their locations and find them all to be very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I've been very pleased since they have introduced the red light beds into their locations at Whittier and la Mirada. I'll be switching from the Whittier location to the La Mirada one just because it's closer but everyone at Whittier is great and the two girls that I've met at La Mirada are awesome too. Sammy is really helpful at La Mirada and has a lot of information to get you the latest promotions and very empathetic. I'm here mostly for therapy, not so much a tanner, but I love Sun Club!! read more
