I was in the area and decided to give this studio a try. I've sugared before and I've also tried hard wax. Although there is a different pain to sugaring, the results I found to be better. The grow out is also better with less likeliness to have ingrowns. This wax Salon was clean and my waxer Gabriella was really great. She was professional, conversed well, and offered breaks, asking how I was doing. She was also quick! Maybe 10 minutes and she had a fan on as I get hot and sweat from the pain lol. I've only been here for a spray tan twice at this location and twice at the Huntington Beach location. Both locations had very friendly staff which made small talk with me and that's important when you strip down completely nude in front of stranger lol. They were very informative each time with tips and suggestions. However, I do feel like spray tans only last me a little over a week so I'm not sure if I just need to ask to be sprayed over more times for it to last or if it's the formula they use. Pretty much I only come here for special occasions, as for regular use I'm not sure I'd recommend it but that's just my opinion considering how long they last. I was deciding on whether to write a review. Ive been going to this place for decades and been a loyal customer. I even had my mom going to this place of business until she passed away. I continued my services which became hard because of my mother's passing. I loved the fact they would call to be sure if you'd attend your appointment. The last few months or a year, I had stopped attending services due to personal reasons and health issues. The odd thing is I had the monthly payment plan that continued to charge my account and I hadn't noticed until recently. The business didn't notify or check in that I had not used any services within the last months of the year. I reached out and unfortunately no refund. Then the only option is to use credits that were left. The business received about $400 from me with no services rendered. At this point its not about the money. Its the fact I was loyal for so many years and to be told, can't help you, you have credits left that need to be used in 90 days, definitely made me feel at odds. I loved the environment of this place. I love the staff. I advise not to sign up to the monthly services, because if something happened the payments will continue to occur and there is no refund. read more

I'm a recent convert from waxing to sugaring. My first experience was good but this was great! I got a Groupon and was able to book my appointment online. The doors were opened right when I had my appointment. It's a cute space, covers are curtains and the beds have option to bring head of beds up so you don't have to lay flat. Megan was amazing, made sure I was comfortable and explained what she was doing. I didn't even know that there's different sugar you use for certain areas. My tolerance for pain is reasonable it didn't sting or hurt much. Conversation was easy going and casual. Warm towel was provided to help clean the area and wax off.
