Also I was wearing a T-shirt that was somewhat political and I saw the owners' reaction when I walked in and his eyebrows reacted possibly involuntarily. Turns out they did not have anything cough drop related except peppermint or Lifesavers-type candy - which seemed weird in a place that has floor to ceiling nothing but candy but OK. So I got some peppermint and a couple of Laffy Taffy's, two little games and headed to the counter. The girl was polite and then the guy with the eye brow came over and told her how much to charge (none of the candy had price tags) - turns out my regular sized Laffy taffy's cost me four dollars each!!! WTF? They made conversation with me like "are you going to the theater tonight?" "I hear it's really good!" blah blah blah, asked me if I wanted a receipt ME: no thank you ME (thinking): there's always Yelp How do they get away with this? oh yeah we live in a capitalist society. go team!

When I asked for clarification, his tone came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. What made the experience even more disappointing was that he was noticeably kind and friendly to my husband but his attitude toward me felt completely different towards me. As a customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect no matter what gender. Comic-Con is already a hectic environment, and customers rely on staff to help make these special events enjoyable. Instead, this interaction added unnecessary frustration and took away from what should have been a fun family memory. After spending more than $400 and looking forward to the signing, I left feeling disappointed by the customer service. After the confusion, I spoke with the actor and got my figure signed. They acknowledged that things were confusing and said something along the lines of, "Sorry for the confusion," and explained that things were a bit weird with how everything was being handled. Their kindness and willingness to explain stood in stark contrast to the experience I had with Kyle. Although thats not the interaction I was hoping for with the actress. I would have preferred a joyful meet and greet autograph as opposed to an awkward apology from the actress, who was lovely. I hope management addresses this so future customers are treated consistently and respectfully, especially when families with young children are involved.

I saw a sign that said they had cold drinks here so I was already sold. When you walk inside this small store, they have a lot of different candies. The drinks are on the right side of the store. They have different unique glass bottle drinks with different flavors. I was tempted to try the watermelon strawberry soda but I went with a cherry coke instead. They keep it in a refrigerator set around 45 degrees. The staff here are amazing and polite. The guy working there said he liked my Oakley Gauge sunglasses since he used to manage a sunglasses store and don't see the sunglasses I have often. They also validated my parking ticket too.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Tony. He was friendly, energetic, and incredibly helpful. You can immediately tell he's passionate about what he does and genuinely enjoys helping customers find something they'll love. I'm usually not the type to try extremely hot sauces, but Tony was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that he convinced both my cousin and me to sample several of their sauces. They were absolutely delicious! I ended up leaving with four bottles, including one as a gift for a friend. One of Tony's recommendations was the Fat Cat Strawberry Serrano hot sauce over vanilla ice cream. It sounded unusual, but I gave it a try--and it was surprisingly delicious!
