So yummy and the service was super friendly and quick! The only thing was it's a little bit expensive for what you get, but the strawberry was so delicious and I would totally get it again.

Okay sadly this was not it. I was intrigued because they had vegan options. I got my favorite flavor which is mango, and sadly it tasted like a frozen bag of mango left in the freezer for too long. I topped mine with coconut which was good. My friend got a more classic pairing and liked hers. In terms of seating, it's just a small counter indoors where you order, with a table right outside, so that's where we sat. It is on the sidewalk on a busy street so it does feel a little exposed. I could see this serving more as a grab and go situation. Unfortunately I ended up wasting a lot of mine and won't be back.

We were craving ice cream and this place was open so we stopped in. It's a very small shop since everything is right in front of you to choose. The two men working were very hospitable and helped us with understanding the various flavors and options. I liked how there were so many options for the base flavor, dips, and toppings. You could make so many different combos. I chose the Barbie (cotton candy flavor) and dipped it in white chocolate. It was good but I kinda wished I would have added the marshmallow topping. I tried to keep my choices simple so I could really taste the ice cream. It's a great option for customization and everyone can get what they want. It's a bit pricey at $6.50 for the base ice cream but it was a treat and we enjoyed each of our choices.

Came to Pop Pops after having dinner in Little Italy as the Dubai Chocolate Paleta caught my eye. At first glance I was a little skeptical with it being $10, but man was it delicious. They added pistachio crumble and fudge on top, and the inside had pistachio ice cream with chocolate. Perfect pistachio to chocolate ratio, I honestly wanted another one because I ate it so fast. We also tried the Watermelon Paleta, which was very refreshing. Service was also really good, made recommendations for the flavors we were in the mood for. Ambiance wise it's small, and no seating really except for one table in the front. Overall though great experience for a quick treat. Would I go again? Yes!

Yum! So many amazing flavors of paletas to choose from here I had the biscoff flavor which the employee recommended & then we had it dipped in chocolate hazelnut & sprinkled with pistachios it was an absolute treat haha can't wait to try another flavor

I really love the watermelon with tahin and chamoy. The tiramisu was just okay. We asked the person that helping us what's their favorite and they just ignored. Not friendly. I think it's kinda pricey. I would only come back for watermelon.

Milk Rice Pudding: 4.5/5 I got this with white chocolate and pistachios. The bar was frozen solid and surprisingly not icy at all. If I let it warm up a little, I bet it would be even creamier than it was. It was not too sweet, maybe even a little under sweet. There is a slight graininess from the cinnamon. The rice flavor was very light as well. Most of the flavor and sweetness came from the white chocolate coating. The pistachios were very fresh and vibrant, but because they were plain, made everything a little more band. While the flavors and textures are not mind blowing, I appreciated its execution and quality. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend. Ambiance: It's a small and clean store. There is no where to sit, so be prepared to get your food and move on. It's colorful, casual, and kid friendly. Service: The lady helping us was fast and helpful. I did not feel rushed and she made our paletas great. Parking: Parking here is difficult. It is all street parking and Little Italy gets really busy.

Little pricey but a vacation splurge is good...I tried the Biscoff and Dubai chocolate....excellent!

What a fun, cool ice cream/paleta bar spot! They have tons of flavors, dips, and toppings to customize your treat here. The staff was super friendly, and the paleta was great. I had the Fruity Pebbles paleta, with whipped marshmallow on top, and then sprinkled with extra Fruity Pebbles sprinkled on. Highly recommend this place!

I love this place!! Before I went on a diet, I was such a regular that they all knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it as soon as I stepped through the door. Even with the diet, I still go to Pop Pops occasionally. Several years ago, I met the owner and suggested a Cookie Butter Pop. His reply was, "What is Cookie Butter?" I tried to explain, and suggested he go to Trader Joe's to check it out. But, as time wore on, I wasn't hopeful. Until today, that is, when, sure enough, there was the Biscoff Cookie Butter Pop. Diet or no diet, I had to try it. As I suggested, there was a Biscoff cookie right in the middle of the Cookie Butter ice cream. I had them dip it in chocolate and sprinkle it with Graham Cracker crumbles. Was it great? Absolutely! Was it, as I hoped, the best Pop Pop I had ever had? Almost, but not quite. I still prefer the PB and Chocolate, with the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup imbedded in the incredibly creamy peanut butter ice cream. I doubt the owner remembered my suggestion when deciding to develop the Cookie Butter Pop, but I'm going to take credit anyway!

I love this place so much; I always try to stop by even in the mornings I crave it that much. They open at 12. I am so passionate about this place and drag others to come here. I always order the DULCE DE LECHE CHEESECAKE $6.50. It's always been consistent. Sign up for there rewards program. They are pretty quick and typically 2 people working, they also expanded and have another location in Hillcrest I haven't checked out yet. They have a lot of options with flavors, toppings. Check it out perfect to cool down and stroll people watching

Nice refreshing and cold treat after dinner in Little Italy. Lots of choices from fruity to milky and then you can get creative and add your sauces and toppings. The people working were very patient as you know kiddos take their time to create their masterpiece. They have a couple tables outside to enjoy your treat but it's easy to also enjoy it as you walk around too.

I came to Little Italy for the vibes... and accidentally found myself in a popsicle wonderland. This place is basically Build-A-Bear, but for popsicles--and honestly, that's the energy I want in my life. You start with the base flavor (already impossible to choose because every option sounds like it was handcrafted by a happy fruit), then you get to customize it with toppings like you're a dessert scientist. Chocolate drizzle? Yes. Crunchy toppings? Obviously. Something unexpected that makes you feel bold and adventurous? Absolutely. The service deserves its own round of applause. The staff is genuinely excited about your popsicle journey and treats every order like it's the most important frozen masterpiece they've ever made. No rushing, no judgment for taking way too long to decide--just good vibes and friendly smiles. And the atmosphere?? Peak Little Italy charm. Colorful, lively, and buzzing with people who are clearly having the best dessert moment of their day. It's the kind of place where you take one bite and immediately start planning who you're bringing back with you next time. In conclusion: come hungry, leave sticky, happy, and emotionally attached to your popsicle. This spot is proof that joy can, in fact, be frozen on a stick.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

We stopped by recently and got incredibly lucky--there was no line in sight, so we walked right up to order! The Cookies: Gooey, Crisp, & Perfectly Balanced My wife decided to try a trio of cookies, picking out Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter Reese's, and classic Chocolate Chip. They completely nailed the texture. Every single cookie hit that golden sweet spot--warm and gooey in the middle with just the right amount of crisp edge. What really stood out was the balance of ingredients. Chocolate Chip: Perfectly measured so you get sweet chocolate in every bite without feeling overwhelmed by chips. Peanut Butter Reese's: An absolute dream ratio of rich peanut butter to chocolate peanut butter cups. Snickerdoodle: Perfectly spiced, striking just the right "snicker-to-doodle" balance! Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the ice cream. I ordered a combination of Cookie Monster and Campfire in a single scoop. The portion size was remarkably generous--it completely filled up the small cup and delivered a fantastic mix of flavors. My wife went with a scoop combining Espresso Oreo and Mint & Chip, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, these were easily some of the best desserts we've had in a very long time.
