It is a small shop with 3 bar stools and a bar top for seating that faces the street window. They have 3-4 staff working (2 at the counter and 1-2 in the back baking). There is no restroom. If they get more seating, that would be a plus. We ordered a 4 pack Deluxe cookies (Triple Chocolate, PB Cup, Salted Caramel, and Blonde Brownie) pack $20 and added on 2 summer classic cookies (Peach Cobbler and Fried Ice Cream cookies) for an additional $3.29/ea. They are delicious! They are the size of a Crumbl Cookie but thinner. Lots of flavor and decadent ingredients. We will surely return. They have napkins and to-go boxes. We happened to be Downtown to check out a holiday pop up and while wandering found Insomnia Cookies. We got in the store just in time too. We were able to pretty much walk up and order and there shortly became a line out the door behind us within a few minutes. Prices are reasonable, depends on what you are ordering. They have your typical cookies, then there are what they consider premium. I got a box of 4 premium (two cookies and two brownies I chose) for $20. Everything comes out of a warmer. I did not eat right away, brought our goodies home and ate over a few days and they were just as good as they have been when we have eaten warm from the store. The store is small but does have some seating inside so you can sit and relax for a bit. The staff was great and worked like a well-oiled machine. Who walks into Insomnia Cookies to get ice cream? Me! (Because I'm not a fan of chocolate, peanut butter, or sugar - most of their cookies.) Service was a tad lacking, as even when a group walks in, the staff members are back in the kitchen. A few minutes (yes minutes) later, my group and I were served. Not wanting to leave without an order, I ended up getting a cup of ice cream, a scoop of minterstellar and a scoop of caramellionaire. The minterstellar most definitely felt slippery - a hint of toothpaste but a feeling of a slippy slide in the summer, perhaps this is what some people mean when they say cilantro tastes like soap. Stopped into this quaint cookie shop and it did not disappoint. We ordered the confetti, salted caramel, oatmeal, walnut, and chocolate peanut butter cookies. All of the cookies were very soft inside, perfectly sweet and not over powering sweet. There was just enough add ins on each cookie to make us keep taking bite after bite. These cookies will have you wanting more. The cashier was super sweet. The only bit of advice is, she never offered the four pack of cookies. I placed my order around 8 PM. Employees knew they were out of s'mores and triple chocolate chunk deluxe cookies at that point. I agreed to wait 20 mins for the new batch of cookies, but let them know I was on a strict clock ticking down because my parking expired at 8:45 PM. I returned at 8:23 PM. I was notified it would be another 5 mins. I figured I'd barely make it back to my car, but I agreed. Upon my return, I was notified it would be another 5 mins. This was when things spiraled out of control. Despite knowing the cookie flavors I'd ordered over 30 mins ago, the deluxe s'more cookies were never put into the oven. I was at a loss for words. Did management never train their employees in time management?? Or how some simple common sense? Or how about multi-tasking?! Is baking multiple cookie flavors simultaneously in different ovens too much to handle? The employee came in and out of the back FOUR TIMES, each time with one less flavor available. The first time I saw this chain was in Philadelphia, but I never made it in. When I saw the sign this time I knew I had to make a point to give these cookies a try. I ordered the oatmeal chocolate walnut and wasn't disappointed. There are so many cookie chains now and I can't say this cookie was a good as some of the others but nevertheless it's a decent cookie when you're craving something sweet. They have several cookies on the menu with the option of adding ice cream. The staff at this location was very helpful in explaining the survey on my receipt. Had they not...I wouldn't know I could receive a free cookie. This was convenient because one of my children decided they wanted a cookie after I purchased my own. I really appreciated that.
