We bellied up to the bar, as we weren't doing food & waited, & waited & waited. They weren't all that busy, tho there were several occupied tables. We let them know we had a Hop Passport & they weren't quite sure what to do. The hubs spotted the stamp & explained the process. (Possibly new staff & definitely 1st Passport of the year) We closed out and, again, there was uncertainty on how to process our tab with the BOGO beer. We ended up just giving them cash to allow them time to sort it out on their own & get us to stop #7, which is quite the drive. I had walk the dog, which was something different for me & the hubs did the precious- mine was ok, had an alkaline aftertaste with a grassy tongue & his was decent as well. Really liked the ambiance. It had an attractive, inviting & comfortable interior, table & seating area. The first 3 beers my husband tried to order from the menu, weren't available. Server was new, so it possibly may have contributed to the slow beverages & food service and the (cold) poor quality of our meal. We ordered a pizza & burgers. Only 1 burger order was warm. Burger meat & bacon flavor was just ok all around. Fries were cold & limp. Requested Ketchup was forgotten. Pizza was (obviously) cold & unappetizing when it was served. I asked for the pizza to be heated up & when the waitress returned it the pan had been warmed but the pizza remained cold, and the crust had become soggy & limp. 2 pieces were sampled by everyone & everyone agreed it wasn't eatable & everyone refused to take it home. Had heard great things about Spring Creek Brewery fir 6 months before we came to town for a visit, so the $100+ meal (for 3) was a waste of our money & huge disappointment. Good place to eat if you are in the area! Food: 4/5. We started with the pickle fries and the pretzels. The pickle fries were good. The pretzels were fantastic, especially with the mustard. The beer cheese was a little bit of a let down and had a weird texture and taste. The Crowfoot BBQ Chicken Pizza was absolutely delicious. It was a little spicy, but had the perfect about of kick with a great flavor. My husband commented that the beer was mediocre. Service: 5/5. Our waitress was great! Very friendly and attentive. The hostess was also very friendly. The food came fairly quick as well. Atmosphere: 4/5. The location is a bit of a drive from Boise proper, but a nice location if you are in the area. Spring Creek Brewing is a ways out--even from Eagle. But it's a nice place to visit. I had one of the special beers (I can't remember which) which was smooth and easy drinking. There were many IPA's and hoppier beers too. I had the Bacon Ale Chowder which is a wonderful soup with nice pieces of bacon and potatoes. A bowl would make a fine meal, although it needed some type of bread to sop up the soup. The pizza rolls are like cinnamon rolls with mozzarella and (prosciutto, bacon or pepperoni??) rolled up in place of the cinnamon sugar. They were a bit spicy and good. The Parmesan sprinkled on top was great. Good happy hour app. I got a Waygu burger to take home for my wife who loved it. The fries were nothing special. The bartender served me and she was running the whole time I was there. It's much larger than it looks outside and there's a patio for warmer weather. We came in on a Sunday evening. It wasn't crowded but there were definitely people seated. Very quiet, seat yourself. We found a table large enough for our party. Our server was very nice and attentive though took a few for her to first greet us. Our beers came out quickly. I'm not a big beer fan but I did share the Oktoberfest beer with my husband and enjoyed it. We ordered burgers and they were tasty but the fries were really amazing. So crispy and such great flavor. There are large tvs all around which are distracting but they did keep my kids entertained while they waited. Overall we were happy with our experience and would come back. The Italian was pretty good but the BBQ chicken had barely any BBQ sauce and the chicken was dry and no cilantro as pictured. The pizza crust had too much cornmeal on the bottom. The pizza for a large was not very big and more of a small/medium for $19. The service was also very slow and they really weren't busy. The spring creek brewery is a great local brewery in Avimor. The staff is always kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I went in on a Friday night with live music. My waitress was great to my toddler, and my 4 older kids. She had a smile on her face the entire time even with a packed house! We had steak tacos, pizza, and more pizza! The pizza is fire roasted and delicious. I highly recommend the Cesar Salad pizza, it was so great! If you haven't been, stop in and try one of the delicious pizzas! read more

Sorry to have to update review and lower rating, but everything has changed. Consistency of food has changed tremendously, worse. Pizzas were the best in town but now they cannot even get toppings accurate from what they state on the menu, plus pizzas are either under cooked or over cooked. Mac and cheese with jalapeños, was outstanding but twice last month the jalapeños were missing. My son ordered burger medium, but came out over well, could have passed for jerky. The wait staff from my initial review have all left and now current staff seem to be clueless and inexperienced to customer service. It's an open kitchen and you would think being visible to customers, employees would be focused on the customer experience and food quality rather than staring at their phones. I believe they made a change in mgmt, which was long overdue, but have not back to confirm. Don't come here. We made reservations that were "lost". After showing our multiple confirmations all the hostess could say was sorry. That's fine, we didn't have to wait too long to be seated anyways. A party of 7 was turned away after they had made reservations as well. Other parties were told the wait was well over an hour. To our surprise we were seated with several open tables as seen in our photos. There were probably two waitresses working and 5 host staff literally walking in circles. Took over an hour for our food to arrive. Beers took 20-30mins. I later saw management leaning drinking beers while staff was stressed and struggled. To be clear the only positive was our waitress. Bless her for working in that place. Girl go to a better restaurant where you're supported correctly and valued. Not to mention they ran out of pizzas, hummus, and quinoa. I tried their chips and guac. No bueno. Chips were stale and guac was tasteless. At least make your chips fresh! Try adding queso like Cafe Rio makes (which is outstanding.) On 4/9/21, I visited Spring Creek Brewing Co. located in the upscale Avimor community. I ordered: Ale Bacon Chowder ($9) - Gouda, haystack potatoes, green onions. This is one of the best beer cheese soup I've ever had. It was complex and full of generous chunks of potatoes and other yummy goodness. It is made with their Calibrator, Golden American Ale. The only thing that would've made it better would have been the inclusion of a nice warm sourdough roll and butter. This soup is so good that I would have a difficult time driving past Avimor without stopping for a bowl, even if just to go. Half order of Caesar Salad ($7) - Our signature Caesar salad with Chef Kyle's famous dressing. I liked the presentation but the dressing seemed watered down and lacked flavor. If I had close my eyes while eating it, I wouldn't have known I was eating a Caesar salad at all. I would not order it again. We ended up accidentally leaving my daughters stuffed bear there, and fortunately the staff saved it, and allowed us to come pick it up even though it was outside business hours. So, a few months later our friend group decided to come back, play trivia again, and use our vouchers for free pizza and beer that we were "awarded." The manager refused to honor our vouchers He said only "one per table." it is not stated anywhere on the card. The manager refused to come to our table to discuss it. We were about to let it go and roll our eyes. Then, the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything. It was my husbands birthday. She asked if they could sing. She never returned. She also came mid trivial game and asked if she could give us the bill as she was ready to go home early. She also came and started bothering another couple at our table about their bill in the middle of a trivia question. It was obvious we were playing the game and trying to hear the question. This is a brewery, so let's start with the beer. The three current brews on tap (English bitter session, dark ale, hazy IPA) are all tasty. The dark ale, in particular has some interesting notes. Perhaps I should've started with the staff. From the hostess, to the servers, to the owners visiting patrons... everyone there makes you feel welcome and is attentive to your needs without being annoying. Next, the food. While the menu is limited as they staff up, it's clear they're interested in delivering quality. And this is week 1! Can't wait to see how things progress. House salad - quality ingredients and house-made dressing. Fries - A large portion of hot, thin, salty fried potatoes. What's not to like? Hot wings - Lightly battered for that extra crunch. Buffalo has good flavor with a decent kick. Angry bull packs a punch. Pizzas - Thin crust cooked at high temp with bubbles of joy. Yes, more please! Gluten-free option is also available... and good. Sheep camp and chain breaker were both delicious. Be warned though, they don't skimp on the habaneros... though they're sliced in a way that you can edit them down/off if desired. I just went to Spring Creek for the first time and it was amazing! It's in Avimore, an easy 10 minute drive from downtown Eagle. It's my new favorite! They make their own beers and their menu is fantastic! I had the Chainbreaker pizza and the Ale Bacon Chowder and both were among the best I've ever had! The service was great! We stopped by for cold beers and snacks Halloween eve 3:00 PM after a great hike at Avimor. We had our dog with us so we sat out on the patio on a warm fall day. The service was great and extremely friendly with great reccos on beer/food. They even brought a bowl of water to the table for our dog. The beer selection is good - I tried two different IPA and was happy with both- hard to dislike a cold beer on a warm sunny day. We ordered two thin crust pizzas and both were excellent - I'm a spice guy and the chainbreaker was off the hook. My wife ordered the Sheeps Camp and loved it. We had our 1st visit to Spring Creek this past Wednesday evening, June 16th, 2021. Our party of five was greeted at the door by two charming young women and escorted to a perfect table outside on the handsome deck. Our waitress was my idea of perfection. Extremely thoughtful and determined to make our dinner an unusually pleasant experience. She exceeded way beyond any rational expectation. The food was handsomely presented and the drinks were exceptional. All through our meal there was an amazing young man playing guitar and singing. A really amazing talent and gifted with a very appealing personality. This was our first resaurant visit in 15 pandemic months and we couldn't stop smiling all the way back to Garden Valley.
