Wonderful vets and staff here. All of them were fantastic with my fear reactive dog and never made me feel like we were a burden. They got him on the right meds and recommended a trainer that turned our lives around and gave my dog the happiest last year he could have. Can't recommend this place enough.

Tell me the last time you've seen a dog this chill at a vet?? This is what happens when you have an amazing staff and vets.

We still love coming here and Dr. Waffle(s) - she's awesome and let's me call her that (her real name is Dr. Waffle) - really takes the time. We come in and she knows one of our pups isn't the biggest fan of the vet, so she makes sure they have Hee favorite treat on hand, because she took the time the first time we met to find out which one of the treats she was willing to take. It's those little things that make us so happy to keep coming back.

I brought my dog here to have surgery on her eye and they did a phenomenal job. Her eye looks so much better than I ever would have expected and I'm very happy with the outcome. Price was fair and the staff has been pleasant to work with. Thank you again for helping us

Here is the letter that took them more than 5 weeks to write and STILL not address my original question.

On 3/22/16 I emailed the office manager about my most recent bills, offering 2 solutions I would find acceptable to correct what I believed were incorrect/ questionable billings. On 4/28/2016 I received a letter essentially firing my dogs as patients- my original issue (billing me for costs they didn't incur) wasn't addressed; presumably neither solution that I offered was acceptable to them- they simply want me go away.

The brunette receptionist was SO beyond rude. Truly terrible service. So many vets in Renton to choose from...don't pick this one.

Dr. Cummins is the best vet around; I would recommend her and the Spring Glen Veterinary to anyone, they are all amazing.

The staff was very kind and informative over the phone. I asked about pricing for checkup and spay…read moresurgery, and they answered all my questions. Their pricing for the feline spay surgery was reasonable, and procedure was pretty straightforward. Drop off the pet around 8-9am, and pick up around noon. There was a bit of a line during pickup because one of their machines was down, so they had to serve all customers AND answer the phone. It must've been quite busy for them. They gave detailed instructions for aftercare, as well as the pain & antibiotic medicine. I think we found our kitty's new regular vet. :)

One of the most traumatic and negligent veterinary experiences I've ever had…read more I trusted this clinic with my dog's life, and that trust was profoundly misplaced. Over the course of treatment, they performed four surgeries that were later confirmed to be unnecessary, putting my dog through repeated anesthesia, pain, and recovery for no legitimate medical reason. Their lack of proper diagnosis, poor judgment, and complete disregard for the physical toll on my dog nearly cost her her life. At no point were we given clear explanations, alternative options, or convincing medical justification for why surgery after surgery was supposedly required. Each procedure created more complications, more suffering, and more fear. What makes this unforgivable is that much of this could have been avoided with competent care, thorough diagnostics, and basic professional caution. Instead, we were met with confidence without competence, and reassurance that turned out to be dangerously wrong. The emotional distress this caused our family -- watching our dog deteriorate because we followed professional advice -- is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Veterinary care requires trust, and this clinic shattered it. I strongly urge pet owners to seek second opinions before consenting to any major procedures here. Had we done so earlier, my dog may have been spared immense pain and trauma.

Our experience at BluePearl was one of the most frustrating veterinary experiences we've ever had…read more When people bring a beloved pet to an emergency hospital, they're scared, vulnerable, and looking for expertise, communication, and compassion. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. We brought our dog in after she had been vomiting for days, hadn't eaten in two days, was panting heavily, whining in pain, and appeared to be having difficulty breathing. She was taken to the back immediately, but after that we were left sitting in an exam room for over an hour with no updates. We eventually went to the front desk ourselves to ask what was going on. We were told the doctor would be in shortly, and then waited another hour before he finally came to speak with us. During that conversation, we learned for the first time that our dog had arrived with a temperature of 104 degrees. We asked whether she still had a fever, and the doctor didn't know and said he would have to go check. About 30 minutes later, another staff member brought treatment estimates that included a quick scan ultrasound the doctor had never mentioned. This was the first time anyone told us that a quick scan ultrasound had supposedly been performed. We had questions about the findings, but no one could clearly explain them. When the doctor returned, he recommended additional bloodwork before realizing information from recent bloodwork was already in our dog's chart. Watching him review the chart in front of us after making recommendations significantly undermined our confidence in the care being provided. After approximately four hours, we left with a bill of more than $600, no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no clear answers about what was causing our dog's symptoms. We were charged for an IV catheter and a quick scan ultrasound. Despite being told our dog arrived with a 104 degree fever, nobody ever explained why no treatment was provided for it. Emergency medicine is complicated, and not every case has an immediate diagnosis. What isn't acceptable is spending four hours in an emergency hospital with so little communication, so little doctor interaction, and so few answers.
