Be sure to call around when using plumbing services to get 2nd opinions and quotes on items.i was a loyal customer to this plumbing company though no more cant be..Going forward i have to go elsewhere as this company used fear tactics to sell a hot water tank all because mine was considered old however my other tank was working well. The few times they were in my house not there for my hot water tank would always remind me about my tank Again the tank wasn't acting up at all. I now have a tank i didnt need yet and its so loud to the point i want it replaced. In addition ive had problems with a ejection pump purchased by them and though past the warranty the pump just isnt used much. This plumber was quick again to sell another 900$ pump. Currently after speaking with another plumber they thought it was from lack of use. It just seemed like the pump was fine once u touched the pipe. So i was woken 3 times in 3 weeks at 2am because of water in my furnace room. Thank god for my ring ( puck). Now im following another plumbers suggestion to just flush the toilet every day or two so the hard water dont cause the pump to get sticky from hard water ect. It apoeared the water conditioner went thru its cycle a few nights ago and the pump worked as it should. So i will continue the other plumbers suggestion. If this continues to work that does again tell me that spring grove plumbing instead of offering such an idea to resolve the issue wanted you sell another pump i may not need let alone cant afford. I sure hope this simple flushing daily gets the pump back to its workin ways. By the way this other plumber hasnt ever done work in my home. He was just a nice man who tried to help without taking money from me. So there it is folks. Will see how it goes. read more

Please consider this a zero star review. It is 4:00 PM in Lincoln Park on N Dayton Street. I live very close to multiple schools and playgrounds and there are children everywhere. This company sent a staff member with a terrible attitude and an even worse vocabulary. It was obvious that the hated his job and and that he was not knowledgeable in what he was doing. He loudly said "F***" every chance he got and engaged in solitary diatribes that I could only describe as profane. Examples of his rants included "Where the f**** is that thing?!", "It's the wrong f****en size, and it's made in f****en Vietnam". It went on and on inside and outside of the premises. I used these guys for an emergency,came right away. I needed a garbage disposal installed after a new dishwasher was installed, when it drains the noise is so loud from the water going down the drain. I called and the guy said it was my dishwasher ( brand new Bosch ) and I should call an appliance guy . I told him out of courtesy he should come look at it since I paid 675.00 for the work he did I really didnt have the money to do that I don't think I need to do that but I did at 125.00 he says I need to call a plumber. I am very disappointed and will not recommend them. Good work but doesn't follow up and doesn't accept that he did something incorrectly. read more

Eric I can't thank you enough. To tell everyone a long story short my wife put a science experiment down the garbage disposal !! I called spring Grove Plumbing and was upset he told me don't be mad it's repairable I will be there in a couple hours so then he even text me when he was 20 minutes away not used to having customer service like this so it gets better not only did he unclog all my drains he had a vacuum to keep it clean while he was rodding my pipes. That is exceptional if u ask me he didn't treat me like a customer he treated me like a human being !!! I have written before but it seem only the good reviews are displayed. this was one of the worst experiences of service I have ever had, not too mention I recently found the broken vase that this plumber left me hidden on a shelf so I wouldn't notice it right away. I have to say that I am very impressed with the work the Spring Grove Plumbing provides. Erik provided me with the lowest of three quotes which initially had me on edge at first but I had decided to go with Spring Grove Plumbing because of the huge savings to my wallet. Monday they showed up just as expected and began performing the work as we had previously discussed. I left for a few errands and when I came back everything was installed and cleaned up just as if they were never even there. I asked Erik to come out and take a look at a slow drain from my prep sink in the garage. It had a mishmash of plumbing (plastic/pvc/galvanized/iron). He quickly found the clog and explained why it likely formed there. He cut out the old galvanized plumbing at my request and installed new pvc with gentle angles and a clean out so that if there's a clog in the future, I can easily snake it myself. He was in and out quickly and cleaned up after himself and his helper. He showed up when he said he would and his prices were reasonable.
