Food was good and service was great! Ambiance is very romantic. Went here for mine and husband's 5th year wedding anniversary. It was definitely an experience. We just realized we are not into French cuisine lol but if you love it, go for it! Bon appetite!

The setting of the restaurant is beautiful with a few tables outside as wells many indoors. The Country French atmosphere inside is very comfortable, with all the staff very friendly. Our server, who's name I regrettably can't remember, was informative and fun. There were four of us so we got a chance to sample many of the items on the menu. For appetizers we enjoyed: ` Escargots en Brioche. Snails, garlic, butter and parsley over house baked brioche. Beautifully plated as well as delicious. The Pate' Tasting, included 3 different types / a Loaf style pâté of chicken, pork, ham, hazelnuts and dried fruit, wrapped in bacon / a chicken liver mousse with black truffle / and a Duck Rillette. All were delicious, but the Rilette and chicken liver mousse were outstanding. It was served with baguettes, whole grain mustard, and cornichons and was enough for all of us to sample. And last but not least, the very good Wild Mushroom Soup with Croutons. For Entrees we had: The Cassoulet Toulousain. In my opinion, this was the "winner" of the night. The Stony Hill Farm duck leg was cooked perfectly and had a delicious combination of white beans, sausage, pork, thyme, garlic, and a bread crumb topping. The Bronzino Fillet over a Pepper Risotto with tender Asparagus was well seasoned and rich in flavor. We were slightly disappointed with the other two entrees. The Braised Rabbit in a Burgundy, Brandy, and Prune Reduction with button mushrooms lacked the flavors that the sauces promised. This was also what we thought of the Chicken Tajine, which overall was on the dry side. There was little to no sauce on the dish except for the fiery hot harissa which could only be used sparingly. We tried 4 different desserts and each was delicious. With 2 coffees, before tip, the bill per couple was around $135. A very reasonable amount for the overall quality of the meal. (BTW - it's a BYO.)

Super sweet spot on the outskirts of Philly. We came here on a lovely spring day and had the prix fixe brunch. For $33 you get to choose from a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. The salads are inventive with fresh ingredients and the entrees range from typical breakfast fare to their well-known Belgian waffles and steak frites. My fellow guests leaned breakfast with the egg skillet while I went savory with the rack of lamb. Lovely flavors and presentation all around. Four stars because the food needed a bit of salt and pepper for my taste.

This is a wonderful find off the beaten path. So glad we decided to trust the reviews. The food was absolutely delicious. The service is impeccable and something we no longer see in many places. It was such a delight to eat here. Will definitely return when we come back up.

    Brussels sprouts, duck á l'orange

Great experience overall getting dinner delivered! Before ordering, I had called in to ask about gluten-free options, and they have a lot of them, which is great! For dinner, we got the pork chop and the duck á l'orange, with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts, and for dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse, flourless orange cake, and macarons. We ordered dinner on Caviar, and delivery was seamless and convenient. Each dish came in its own plastic container, and they put the mousse and vanilla ice cream that came with the cake in takeaway cups, which I thought was clever. All the food tasted great! The Brussels sprouts were nicely charred but still springy, and the entrees were tasty as well. I had the duck, which had very nice crispy skin and tender meat. We also enjoyed the desserts, especially the chocolate mousse! The flourless cake was tasty for the most part, but we did find toward the end that there was a chunk of baking soda that hadn't dissolved into the mix, so that was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. The macarons were a mix of flavors, and my favorite was probably the coffee one. Overall, nice experience, and I would order from them again in the future!

A gem of Conshohocken. Off the beaten path, homey and warm. A farmhouse feel with exceptional service. I sat outside and although it was chilly, they turned on the heat lamp to keep us comfy. The table was gorgeous. Stained glass and colorful. We started with the large cheese board. I had fish for dinner and ended with spiced orange cake. The cheese variety was delicious and I enjoyed them all equally. The fruit was fresh and there was a nice variety. I wish the cheese pieces were a bit larger, I felt that they were pretty small for two people to share. My fish was cooked perfectly. Over sweet potatoes with crunch kale. I wish there were more sweet potatoes. I normally do not get dessert and I definitely am not a cake eater. I was compelled to try the spiced orange cake and it did not disappoint. The flavors were spicy and perfect for fall.

We had our small, non-traditional wedding (17 guests) here and had an excellent experience! There are 2 options - renting out the restaurant or renting out the barn. We rented the barn and loved it! It felt so intimate and special. The food is fabulous. Loved the duck a l'orange and the corn bisque! They have a partnership with Frosted Fox, who made us a gorgeous and delicious cake as part of our package. The servers are awesome, so friendly and accommodating. Ezra, the owner, is great to work with. And I think the rental fees and costs per person are incredibly reasonable. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to host a special, private event, and for small weddings!

    Daffodil Cake Dinner

Small French style cafe off the main drag of conshy! The staff was able to squeeze us in for Sunday dinner. Loved the daffodil cake (pictured) and short ribs! It is on the pricey-side, but I think it is worth it for the cozy ambiance and great meal. Will be returning again and would love to try out brunch sometime as well!

Each one is better than the last. This time it was the Jannie but I've also had the Jammie Sammie. Incredible. Soft, flaky biscuit with delectable fillings. You won't be hungry until dinner if you have one of these for breakfast. Honey biscuit is also a must have if you pop in. Great food, friendly and quick service. This post makes me think I'll be heading there soon.

The biscuits for their sandwiches are flakier and much better. If you think you have twenty-years left to live, you might want to knock out a few things on your bucket list before ordering. They have a sign that says something like this isn't fast food and there isn't anything fast here at all. The staff and customers all agree with that slogan. No one is hiding it. A few weekends ago, we waited over 45 minutes like idiots for our food. I had a $50 gift card, most went to this meal, and I was ready to walk out. Sadly, I didn't complain to management, because the line was longer than the line to order food. They said refunds would take one week and the people who said they really would never come back, had the managers get their food quicker than ours. It's an interesting business strategy to ensure the angry customers who won't return got their food first, but I get it. If less people frequent this place, then the lines won't be as long. They even said there was no manager on duty. Anyone watching the staff work would know that no one was lying. No utensils, napkins at the tables, just people sitting there waiting for their to-go order and then freeing a table later. If you are one of those weekend people with nothing to do until you have some structure at work on Monday, this is the perfect place to waste most of your day, to get you that much closer to work. Sweet treats are alright, nothing special. Breakfast sandwich could be worth it, but you could also go to the worst grocery store in town and make your own better biscuit and sandwich in the amount of time you have to wait. $8 left on our gift card and in a perfect world I'll misplace it.

The restaurant is big, with the host's table in the front having a hutch full of knickknacks behind it. A large Betty Boop statue stands at the very top oh the fully while the shelf itself has restaurant merch and other knickknacks on it. The open kitchen can be seen to the immediate left and counter seating is right in front of it. The drinks refrigerator sits next to the counter as well and over to the very right is the main dining room. The dining area is mainly comprised of booths that seat up to 4 people, but there are regular circle tables too. There are also framed pictures and decorations hanging on the walls and a spinning cake display is next to the booths as well. We ordered the following: Daughter had the 2-2-2 combo, which is 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 blueberry pancake. She thought that it was great. She loved that the pancake was blue from all the blueberries and the sausages were delicious! She said that she would order it again. I love these types of sausages, nice and thick and not the skinny ones. Hubs had the Dutch Benedict, which are poached eggs on an English muffin with scrapple topped with Hollandaise sauce and potato cakes. He said that the eggs were done perfectly and the scrapple was swimming inside the sandwich. I don't understand why Hubs loves scrapple. It's not healthy but he said once in a blue moon is ok. LOL. He loves the potato cakes and said that it reminds him of potato latkes from a Jewish deli. Lastly, I had the sweet pepper and scrambled eggs on a kaiser roll. This was simple and I loved it. I've always wanted to eat eggs on a kaiser roll. For some reason, I love it. I ordered the Dark Side of the Moon cake to go. This was pretty good. Daughter and I fought for every last drop of the cake. LOL. Service was friendly and quick. Will return to try other items on the menu!
