We are here for the first time last night. It was an amazing experience. The hostess was very friendly, the waitress was great, and the food was delicious. We really liked the atmosphere too. We ate the aracinis for an appetizer and for entrees we had the short rib pasta and the salmon. We would definitely come back. The one suggestion I have though is to have at least one high chair on hand. Our three year old could manage on the normal chairs but the table was a little high for her. read more

We came here for Valentines dinner this year. We weren't gonna go out this year because the restaurants in Philly we wanted to go to were already booked. But then when I was looking up their burger week menu I came across the valentines menu and it looked good, so I figured I would give it try. My husband's dinner was alot better than mine so I was eating some of his, even though we always share anyway. He got the oysters with a dragonfruit sauce and they were good. I ordered crab and corn soup with grilled focaccia bread. The soup itself was fine , but it was only half a bowl and not much crab in it. I would have liked more soup instead of the bread. I gave the bread to my husband because we got a good amount of bread for the appetizer and I didn't want to fill up too much. I probably should have ordered the calamari instead , that looked pretty good. My husband's scallops with risotto was very good. Seared perfectly, creamy risotto, good flavor. Normally that is what I like to order, but I got the crab pasta because I love crab. I was disappointed In this dish. The crab tasted a little too fishy like it went bad or something. I also got a number of shells in the crab I had to spit out. I feel like they could have mixed the crab with some kind of seasoning or flavors. It seemed like they just dumped the crab right out of the can into the pasta and didn't even clean the shells out first. And they didn't even put the pasta in any kind of sauce. I would have liked maybe a creamy sauce with it. The pasta was just in like a watery garlic broth, and it broke apart and crab went all in the water and I didn't even have a spoon to pick it up. Dessert was ok. I'm glad we got the dragonfruit cheesecake instead of the chocolate cake, it was refreshing . The tiramisu wasn't bad but it was still somewhat frozen. I was kind of surprised because we are fans of the Pieri group restaurants. We have been to their sister restaurant Stonerose for burger week for a number of years now and love it. We also came to burger week at bar sera the one year and really enjoyed theirs too. I wish they did them separate weeks so we could go to both . Maybe it was just an off night tonite. Sometimes valentines menus aren't as good as their regular menu. Maybe we learned our lesson to go out the week before valentines instead for next year. read more

We went mid-week for our first visit to B-Sera and learned the main floor was closed for a private event. So, they sat us upstairs which was quieter and had quaint street views. For starters, we got the calamari and the zucchini. We enjoyed both apps that came with some gochu heat. We shared a salad and the DStyle pizza. The Farmer salad was so good we wished it were slightly bigger. We ordered the "larger" Patricio (fomo) and realized the smaller option would have been enough for us. Oh well, box please. Their beer selection was ok, plenty of wine options. Our server, Annsley was superb from start to finish. We plan to go back to experience the main floor, try the pasta, desserts, etc. read more

Worth the visit whether you are local or just passing through Conshee. My group of seven decided to try Bar Sera for a Saturday night dinner and we were not disappointed. Known for their Detroit style pizza, it was immediately a good sign when we arrived and saw a steady line of people ordering pies to go. The staff had us seated relatively quickly and took our orders promptly, setting a great tone for the night. To really experience the menu, we skipped the family style prix fixe and built our own spread of small plates and pizzas to share. That decision paid off. The arancini bites were a hit, and the calamari stood out for its unique preparation. Gochujang honey calamari was a first for all of us and it absolutely worked. The pizza is where Sera truly shines. We were blown away by the Elm Street, a deceptively simple pie with tomato sauce, Wisconsin brick cheese and pesto that delivered big flavor. The Ash Street went in the opposite direction with complexity and boldness, featuring BBQ pulled pork, jalapeño pesto, cilantro, scallions and brick cheese. Having been to Detroit and sampled true Detroit style pizza, this felt like a genuine and well executed homage. The cocktail program deserves just as much praise. Drinks like the Nightmare on Elm Street with brown butter washed bourbon, brandy, lemon, apple sage honey, almond bitters, cranberry bitters and egg white, and the Lone Ranger with fig reposado, black pepper, Grand Marnier, lemon, brown sugar and Turkish tobacco bitters wowed the table with unique and bold flavors. Overall, Bar Sera is a fantastic neighborhood spot that punches well above its weight. Had a lovely date night at our favorite sister restaurant to barlucca for the first time! We loved the food and the drinks were amazing. Had Valentine's Day dinner here with a Prix Fixe menu. My partner enjoyed her Scallops while I enjoyed the Lamb Chops. Both came with Risotto. She loved the Lobster Bisque, though it was FAR too spicy for me! The service was great. They exchanged my Lobster Bisque for the Burrata appetizer. Five of us had lunch at Bar Sera. Three tried the Bar Sera Burger (one with fries, 2 with The Farmer side salad), one tried the frilled steak melt and one tried the Patricio Detroit style pizza. All loved the burger and the fries were spot on (salad was really good too but hey, the fries were really good). The steak sandwich was also spot on. All the beef were cooked as requested perfectly. The pizza was super good - crunchy, great toppings and way too much for one person. Prices were appropriate. The staff (Red) was helpful and friendly. Only downside is parking in Conshohocken can be a little hit or miss. read more

5 stars all around. The place is a little hard to spot. At least it was for me coming from the back side. We got the BBQ bacon pineapple special burger. I got mine with Parmesan fries and my wife got hers with a side salad. The coolest thing about that was when you get a side salad it's not just a bunch lettuce dropped on your plate. You get to pick from their salads off the menu. So this is actually one place I wouldn't mind doing a side salad instead of fries. Oh yeah we got the Truffle Croquettes to start and that stuff was so good. So I guess we will be coming to Conshohocken more often. I never think of this area. read more

I went to Bar Sera with a group and had a really nice experience. We ordered the Chef's Tasting Menu. The service was prompt and very kind. Each of the 6 entrees were really nice for the tasting menu. First was an arugula salad with candied walnuts and feta(?) cheese. Next was some type of brussel sprouts that was actually amazing, surprisingly very delicious. I can't remember what was next but the scallop with risotto was amazing as well. Next was steak slices with mashed potatoes and some type of cheese ravioli in white sauce. Both were really nice. Last was salted caramel gelato which was a nice sweet treat. For drinks, I had the Orange wine which paired nicely with the meal. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Bar Sera. My girlfriend and I took our daughters to dinner at Bar Sera as part of their sendoff to college and had a delightful dinner. We opted for the super high value $55 chef's tasting menu which came with six very generous courses. We were sadly a high-maintenance group - our lovely server Rachel (thank you!) accommodated us moving tables from inside (too cold) to outside (too many mosquitos) back to inside (just right near the door). It is quite loud in there as it is, after all, a bar. Sitting by the door actually helped a bit with the noise level. But the food is excellent: - Farmer Jenni - 5/5 - we received two large salads for the four of us. Super delicious with arugula, fresh peaches, goat cheese, candied walnuts. - Crispy sprouts - 5/5 - again two portions for our table, we took home one whole serving - spicy honey with the perfectly done/charred sprouts, yum! - Diver scallops - 5/5 - I'd give this a 6 if possible, perfectly seasoned and fresh - Coulotte steak - 4/5 - very generous portions of sliced steak, some a little more rare (but we brought it home as leftovers to heat up), love the crispy potato strips on top! - Crab agnolotti - 3/5 - the only item that was not a fan favorite - not quite sure why these didn't work, maybe crab too mushy inside ravioli? - dessert was salted caramel gelato - 4/5 - four generous scoops for the table. Great night for a group of 8. We did not fit at Stone Rose, but there were able to find space at Bar Sera. It was super convenient to make one call, and have them look at all three Pieri Restaurants. Four of us came to Bar Sera for the first time for Burger Week. Usually, we attend another restaurant for Burger Week, but a fellow Yelp Elite saw that they also had burger week here. The options seemed much better, so we reserved a table. We were immediately seated behind a table of at least twelve. It was incredibly loud and headache-inducing, but fortunately, they were finishing up and left somewhat quickly. We ordered cocktails, the Hecter Street Detroit Pizza, and various burgers. The cocktails were interesting and creative; it could be my favorite cocktail bar in the area. Categories like "weird" and "not weird" with a few options in each one. I went Weird all night and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The Detroit Pizza was so good. As a joke, I said I wanted that instead of a burger, but others wanted it, and we got a large one for the table. Braised Short Rib, roasted squash, roasted sage. It was filling but worth it. I ate it for lunch today, and it was still great. The Birria burger had amazing flavor. The bun was heavily seared on top to give it some nice lines. I ate a pepper off the top, and it had some heat. You didn't get the heat when you ate the entire burger and dipped it into the Birria sauce. If one thing impresses me, it's a well-balanced use of heat, and Bar Sera pulled that off. This was a burger that almost anyone could eat and enjoy. Our server was attentive, although I could only hear her once the big table left. The fries were much better than the other Burger Week place we went to. When I asked how long this place has been doing Burger Week, I was told they started during the pandemic. At that time, I was doing takeout from their other location. If I had known, I would have tried this place too. This was a 4.6, but you easily round up and this might be my new favorite place in the area. I was telling cocktail friends how much I enjoyed the cocktails here. The Bar Sera is a must visit, they have a beautiful bar and eating area. It's on the corner, with nice big windows. They have a great bear and drink selection to choose from I would recommend a Pilsner or sweet hopped IPA to go with the salmon that is flavorful and juicy and cook just right complemented by the tart pesto that it comes on. Our server/hostess/bartender (Red) was fantastic. I was looking for a cocktail and she made me a nice tequila based one after I couldn't find one on the menu that I was interested in. Despite having all those roles I mentioned, she was very attentive and made my wife and I welcome. Drinks: As I mentioned the bartender made me a nice tequila cocktail with grapefruit. It was delicious. My wife had a glass of wine (Cab) that was very good. Their drink menu has a nice selection of cocktails, wines, and beer. Food: Our server mentioned that the Detroit style pizza takes awhile so we ordered the brussel sprouts as an app. Very plentiful and very tasty. I love crispy sprouts and these did not disappoint. The hot honey that covered them added a great flavor. We ordered the Elm Street pizza (tomato sauce, wisconsin brick cheese, pesto). The pizza was very good, but I can't say that it would be my favorite style of pizza. The brick cheese was tasty but I prefer a mozzarella. We came for happy hour and had no trouble getting two seats at the bar. The Detroit pizza was to die for. Like honestly incredible. We ordered their street corn flavor and I was blown away. The chicken sliders were delicious and I enjoyed the pasta chips and dip. I was rubbed the wrong way by the bartender. She was too busy talking to other employees than to ask if we needed water refill and when I asked about the cocktails on happy hour she made a snarky comment. So went to Bar Sera for first time and so so glad I did! Stepping in, the space is so nicely decorated and aesthetic is a upscale rustic decor- lots of wood and lodge style feel. The menu is so nice- it has a wide variety of different kinds of signature foods and drinks you won't find elsewhere. We sampled the appetizers list: Brussel sprouts were out of this world, we had the garlic dip and pasta chips made from scratch and the rock city pizzas!!! Omg you must order the pizzas!!! Any flavor you won't go wrong. Our wait staff was FANTASTIC!!! and to boot, our bartender was soooo attentive to our table, she was managing the bar and our table. We probably could have just ordered one pizza. The salad was very tasty. The dressing was great. The honey was weird on the pepperoni pizza. My cocktail Que Sera Syrah was excellent. I normally do not enjoy cocktails mixed with wine but this was great. The lemon twist garnish made it all very fragrant. The ambiance was rustic, dark and cozy. A little loud but bearable. We were not too close to the table next to us. Unfortunately, we did enjoy the thin crust pizzas more from Bar Luca. There was a little too much cheese on top of the cheese already on the dough. It's not your average pizza, it's more of a focaccia style bread, but it's so airy and light it melts in your mouth. This is My boyfriends and I go to spot when we wanna indulge and treat ourselves .And as a Caesar salad connoisseur, I recommend their take on a Caesar salad.
