They have the most comfortable chairs (I'm 300+lbs so that is a big deal to me) and it is so quite and calm with some hip music that fits everyone's taste in music. I really like this nail salon. Every time I travel through Folsom to the Bay Area, I stop here to get my nails done. I would say I've been here about 8-10 times. I've loved the quality of the services. It's very clean, organized, and every appointment has been great until the last. BUT....the last visit was the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I should have gotten the name of the tech who did my manicure, but I didn't. All I can say is that she was an older lady. The same day I had it done, I noticed that when I went to scratch my head, one of the nails was very weak. I'd never experienced that before. I realized she had ground the nail so thin in taking off the previous gel that even the new gel overlay couldn't strengthen the nail. Then the next day, one of the gel nails completely fell off. Since then I've had another gel nail fall off and found other nails that were ground way too thin. Fortunately I keep my nails short anyway, but I've had to cut them as short as possible so they don't tear off. One even started peeling down to the quick. I'm going to have to have to grow them all out now until they are back to normal nail thickness. I will go back, but I surely hope I recognize who that tech was. I won't let her touch my hands again, and I'll let the management knows about my experience. read more

I've been to this nail salon multiple times, and each visit has left me more frustrated than the last. Every time I go in for a basic acrylic fill with a simple solid color (no artwork, no designs, no long extensions), they come up with new reasons to increase the price. One time, I was charged an extra $10 just because I chose a lighter color. Another time, it was an extra $5 for "the amount of work"--which made no sense because all I ever get is a basic acrylic fill! I never ask for anything extra, yet the price keeps going up. Terrible shame what has happened to this place. This used to be my GO TO for nails for the last several years. Always the best customer service at the desk, and always the sweetest nail technicians. But, I just think they've gotten too big, or they've lost the good people, and their customer service is slipping. My last experience was such a bad one, that I will never be going back. The man that did my nails was so unbelievably cocky. Even during my appointment, he was short with me and rude to me. Any statement I made as to the preference of how I preferred my nails, seemed to be taken as an insult to him. He never measured the nail lengths against the opposite hand, and as it turned out, every single nail did not match the opposing nail. My middle finger (I know, that's ironic) was DRAMATICALLY longer on my right hand than the left. I was shocked. So, I went back the next day for a fix, just hoping ANYONE could do it, and naturally, they put me with the same rude guy. And, his response to me was, after arguing with me that everything matched when it didn't, "Then go to another place if you don't like how I do them." Truly unbelievable. Even the lady at the desk didn't try and step in to make things better. I am speechless at the way I was spoken to. I NEVER leave a negative review, even if I have a bad experience, but this one just could not be left alone. The customer is ALWAYS right. Period. And they will be losing customers when they treat them in this manner. read more

I came in last minute on a whim in February 2024, and have been booking ever since. The prompt service is amazing, and the quality of work received is phenomenal. Ellie is always a pleasure to talk to and she is so friendly! She manages the front desk, and she's on top of it. She's my bestie there, haha. I love the different colors they offer, so I usually do dip on my nails then gel polish on top with design. On average my nails lasts about 4 weeks And yes, they offer tips or gel sculpt on big toes for those toe nails that ripped! I got the gel sculpt on my big toe and it's been great! Very natural and a lot faster than adding the tip with acrylic, in my opinion. Definitely recommend! read more

I was excited to have Roy do my dip nails based on past reviews but honestly I feel like this was one of the worst experiences I've had since getting my nails done in 30 years. To start off he was extremely fast at everything he was doing, almost like he chugged 5 cups of coffee before doing my nails. He was dropping things left and right, and even cut my finger. I asked for my nails to be thick due to breakage in the past, which he didn't do. He kept pulling my hand and told me I was sticking my finger in at the wrong angle. While there, they offered me water and got me seated right away. Service took 2 hours, but definitely worth every penny. Everyone was kind and communicative. If you're down for a drive to Folsom or live in the area, you won't be disappointed. Their space is so luxurious and they had all the works (any color, design, charms, etc.) Manager Ellie was so sweet, she came and conversed with me and made me feel so comfortable.
