While there are many options to choose from, the membership price was steep for our family. Even though they charge more for chemicals than you can get on the internet, you will actually spend less money because they will keep the water balanced better so you buy less chemicals. I had a very disappointing experience with LA Fitness. When I signed up, I was charged $79 for the…read morePilates program, but the classes never actually started. Months went by without any communication. I was never called, emailed, or notified when the program finally became available. By the time the Pilates program started, I had already canceled my basic $28 membership because I wasn't using the gym. Despite never being notified that the Pilates program had begun, LA Fitness refused to refund the $79 charge. Charging customers for a service that wasn't available when they signed up and then refusing a refund after failing to communicate is unacceptable. On top of that, the facility is often dirty, several machines are broken or out of service, and the staff have not been friendly or helpful when I've raised concerns. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. Better communication, cleaner facilities, properly maintained equipment, and improved customer service would go a long way. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

The changing rooms are clean and include full showers, bathrooms, and plenty of lockers. There is a nice game room with a pool table and foosball as well. The clubhouse can be rented out for parties which is great for larger groups. The pool is surprisingly big with a separate smaller pool with some water features for children. Plenty of seating too. Outside there are tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and a basketball court. So all in all--plenty of things to do! I only have a few complaints. First, the gym is not open 24 hours. They provide a key card for access after the clubhouse closes but only until 10:00 pm. Then it reopens at 5:30 am. It would also be nice if they had free weights in the fitness room. I've noticed that the soap in the showers is never filled either. And there is nowhere to put your shampoo or hang your towel which I find very inconvenient every time I shower there. But overall a nice place--and you can't really complain since it's included with your HOA fee!
