Recently, we stayed at the SpringHill suites by Marriott. It was our annual Disney trip with family and friends, and a friend of the family recommended staying here! And we're so glad we did! This hotel did not disappoint! They provided exceptional service! The rooms cleanliness- quality of linens, fresh bedding, absence of dust or stains on carpets was on par! They had a spacious parking garage! Great amenities (pool and gym). And by far, the best breakfast on the Disney hotel strip! They served biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, juice and fresh coffee daily. Everything was delicious! The hotel is in close proximity to Disney Resorts (about a 20 minute walk), restaurants, shops and Downtown Disney! Prices per night are reasonable. And the overall aesthetic of the hotel was sleek, modern and functional. Highly recommend staying here! read more

We have stayed at this Marriott property before and have generally had positive experiences, which makes this most recent stay particularly disappointing. We paid a $50 early check-in fee since we knew we will arriving back to the hotel late that night. When Jesse checked us in, one of our key cards did not work, preventing access to the elevators. While we understand the security intent of the key card system, this malfunction caused unnecessary frustration and delay. The breakfast staff, two women working the area, were kind, attentive, and maintained a spotless environment. Their professionalism and care were the only highlights of our stay. However, the condition of our room was unacceptable. Upon arrival at night my husband discovered mold on the shower ceiling, corners, and bottom of the shower. Because it was late and our children had settled in, he cleaned the bottom of the shower so he could shower safely. While we do not have photos of the bottom, the issue was immediately reported to staff. Additionally, the pull-out couch had no sheets, which had never occurred in prior visits. I reported both issues to the front desk. The employee was kind and apologetic, but the manager on duty left without acknowledging us, citing a long line of guests. When asked what we needed done, I explained that at minimum we required a safe way for my children and I to shower the following morning. At no point that night were we offered a room change, even though the front desk later confirmed that while our suite type was booked, an upgrade should have been offered immediately. The following morning, day-shift employee Maria informed me that I would need to contact corporate myself to file a report. I asked why we were not moved immediately given the seriousness of the issue. This lack of urgent action and guidance was extremely concerning. Later, I spoke with the manager, Danny, who stated it was only his third day on the job and that he would follow up with me by Tuesday. This follow-up never occurred. Despite giving staff multiple opportunities to resolve the issue directly, we were left without a solution. Additional issues included a non-working refrigerator, which spoiled yogurt we had for our children. Due to the mold, none of us felt comfortable using the shower. Regardless of whether the substance is confirmed as mold, its visible presence (shown in photos) should have prompted immediate action, including a room change. Instead, we were told only that "an investigation needed to be conducted" as if we were lying or planted the mold. Paying for a room that we were unable to safely or fully use is unacceptable. The lack of urgency, poor communication, repeated failures to follow protocol, and failure to provide proper accommodations reflect a significant lapse in service and guest safety standards. We have also experienced issues in a prior stay, including an unaddressed air conditioning problem. While we assumed that was an isolated incident, the recurrence of service lapses over two stays indicates a systemic issue. We are not asking for a free stay, but at minimum, a room change or compensation for our next visit would have been appropriate, waiving the early check in and parking did not negate the fact that we didn't shower and decided to go home rather than have another day at Disney. I really hope Marriott takes the right action to clean the room, not receiving a follow up means this concern was not taken seriously, as I just went back and read other concerns of mold on other customers reviews. A failure of this magnitude, particularly one involving potential health risks and unusable amenities, should not be treated lightly. read more

We stayed here for our most recent Disneyland trip. We decided on this hotel as it is walking distance to the parks. Around 20 mins walk. Depends on your speed of course. Front staff were nice and friendly. There are 4 floors to this hotel. Our room was located on the 1st floor. It was pretty spacious and clean enough. The AC unit worked really well but it is located next to the bed. When it was on, it was blowing right in my face while sleeping. It got so cold when that happened. Also, it was really loud to the point that I couldn't sleep well. They offer complimentary hot breakfast daily. They do refill the food as well. Parking is $30+ a night. Ample parking. read more

This is a very budget-friendly place to stay! Our family visited Disneyland and decided on SpringHill Suites. As Bonvoy members, we love a good deal--and Bonvoy offered free parking for our stay, which saved us about $70 right away. The property has a well-stocked snack bar with chips, candy, last-minute toiletries, OTC meds, and a selection of drinks including beer and wine. The lobby was festive and spotless, decorated with Disney-themed Halloween décor and plenty of comfortable seating for lounging. Our room was clean and fairly spacious. While the TV placement felt a little odd at first, it made sense since it could swivel between the sofa and bed area. The linens were basic but comfortable, though the pillows could use an upgrade. Same goes for the bathroom, as a door for the toilet area would have made it a lot more convenient for showering, makeup, getting dressed. Having a coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave was a huge plus for those rushed "get-ready-for-the-park" mornings. The complimentary breakfast was another great perk--featuring a DIY waffle station, oatmeal, cereal, pre-made eggs, sausage, warm biscuits, and tortillas, plus coffee, juice, and yogurt. The property is a bit farther from Disneyland, so we used Lyft to get to and from the park. There's a designated drop-off area right at the front entrance, which made transportation super convenient. Conveniently near Disneyland if you can do a 12-15 minute brisk walk to get to the Trams. If you can do 16-25 minutes of brisk walking, you'll find Downtown Disney. Crystal was "in training" but was friendly & very informative. She checked us in with a smile. Had great customer service from Crystal & she answered my questions. Thank you Crystal! :) $30 for hotel parking. You will need a parking pass to display on your dash. You can leave your car there for the day, even after checkout. I believe you have until midnight to park. I did not use the public transportation/shuttles. But, there are shuttles available that will pick you up near the hotel & drop you off near the park's security gate. You will need to book online & pay for the ride. Got a ride share at the end of the night back to the hotel. Took about a 5 minute drive. But was a slight nightmare after a long day at DLand & waited 20-30 minutes for a pickup from the park. Rooms were spacious & clean enough. A mini fridge & a microwave are always a plus in my books... Although I did not try their breakfast, it is included with hotel stay. read more

We enjoyed our stay at SpringHill Suites on Ball Road in Anaheim. About a mile away from the Disney theme parks. Check-in took a little bit of a wait because when I got there (almost 3pm), there were 2 people ahead of me and only one front desk person. Thankfully, after about 10 minutes a 2nd front desk staffer arrived and checked me in. The studio suite on the 3rd floor was nicely appointed, modern and clean. I liked that there is a mini fridge and microwave. As a Marriott member, there are little things that make the stay nicer that stick in my mind. The friendliness of staff (young Latina woman) was one of them. She answered all my questions and was friendly & professional. The room, as I said, met our needs. The couch with trundle bed was comfortable enough. The king sized bed was nice and firm. The room had decent space to walk around in. We never like it when a room feels so tiny. The working desk is nice and bathroom was nice, bright and clean. The shower and vanity were modern and we like that. The negatives for me were: the $30+ tax fee per day for parking. Plus tax? what's that about? This is self parking in an uncovered and un-gated parking lot that is shared out back with another hotel. I thought that was a little steep. Also, the continental breakfast lacked some hot protein options IMO. The 1st morning only had turkey sausage & scrambled eggs. Some bacon or an additional breakfast item would have been nice. Another gripe of mine was the screeching noise one of the elevators (left one) would make as it would a stop going up to your floor. It wasnt a good sound and should definitely be addressed. Other than those 3 things, we enjoyed our 2 night stay at SpringHill Suites. AC was nice and cold in the room and we had good sleep. TV had a good amount of channels as well. But no way to check-out of room using the tv. I tried, figuring there was a way like other Marriott properties. read more

This Springhill Suites hotel is a 12 min walk to the Disney tram. It's located on Ball Road adjacent to the parking structures. Be careful though because there are other Springhill in the area. I thought the service was great. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Loved the AC next to the bed and the side closing shade (instead of the middle parted one). Snacks at check in were on another level. Parking is $30 and you can keep it there while at Disney. I was surprised there were so many families here when the hotel has the classic Springhill open concept business client layout... maybe the kids are so tired from Disney it doesn't matter? This is a fine option for a no-frills hotel within walking distance of Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Hotel. Everything was in good repair and the room was large, including a separate seating area with a sofa and coffee table, a desk with a chair and lamp, a mini fridge and microwave... There may have been a coffee maker? (We don't drink coffee so we didn't really look.) Bed was moderately firm, pillows not my favorite in that I woke up many times each night needing to adjust them. We fought with the thermostat a bit as the room felt stuffy each time we left and returned. Water got hot quickly and the water pressure was good, too. Housekeeping only every other day, and the bath items (bar of soap at the bathroom sink, pumps of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower) were okay but nothing stellar. We had to ask for shower caps and there was no body lotion, which would have been nice. (None in the small market, either, which was limited already and also somewhat picked over.) Complimentary breakfast was so-so. No room service or restaurant or anything like that, but plenty to eat at Disney, and the staff was very friendly. Gave us a map and directions for the walk. If you're parking a car, be aware it's kind of a strange setup in that they split the lot with the neighboring Holiday Inn. They have rooms with views of the Disney fireworks (which are LOUD, so be ready for that, too). Pool is okay but only 4 1/2 feet at the deepest, probably great for little ones; hot tub was nice first thing in the morning. read more

We've been annual pass/magic key holders for as long as I can remember, and over the years we've stayed at many different hotels--mostly Marriott. For the past couple of years, however, we've chosen to return to this particular property because customer service was excellent, it's pet-friendly and conveniently close to the parks. Our experiences have generally been very pleasant. Unfortunately, our most recent stay was disappointing. Prior to arrival, I received an email informing me that our reservation had been changed from a king room to one with two queen beds due to unforeseen circumstances. While we prefer a king bed since our two-year-old sleeps with us, we didn't consider this a major issue, as we typically enjoy our time here. The real problem came when we checked in at around 1-2 a.m. Our room had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. Since we were exhausted, we initially tried to overlook it. However, after carefully transferring our sleeping toddler to the bed, we discovered what looked like ash in the bathroom sink. I reported this to the front desk, but given the late hour, our luggage, and our sleeping child after a six-hour drive, we were simply too tired to pack up and move to another room. This was the first disappointing stay we've had here. We may consider booking again in the future, but given the price per night, I do hold high expectations and hope for a better experience next time. read more

I really enjoyed this hotel. It felt clean. Literally the moment I stepped foot into the hotel I told my husband how good it smelled. Same with the upstairs hallway after stepping out of the elevator. You could just tell it was clean. The room was super nice. It had a living area with a couch that opened up to a bed, and also had a desk and mini fridge. The bathroom was super nice. This is usually what makes or breaks a hotel for me. The walk in shower was lovely. The bed felt clean and fresh. They also served free breakfast which was great before a park day. We were also able to see the fireworks from the hotel parking lot which was nice to see on our arrival day. Only complaint is that the overnight parking was $30! I would expect that from a hotel maybe right across the street from the main Disney entrance, but this hotel wasn't even super close. Very steep of a price just to park a vehicle read more

They were amazing from check in to check out. I would like to emphasize that you CANNOT walk from the hotel to the park unless you want to journey. We took an uber. I was torn between a 3 and 4 star review but I'll detail everything in my Pros and Cons so you can decide for yourself. For reference, we stayed here 6/8-6/13/25. We had two rooms reserved with two queens and the sofa sleepers. Pros: - We received the rooms we were supposed to at check-in. The rooms were clean and equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. - The free breakfast is well appointed. You can make your own waffles, the kids can have cereal, and everyone can enjoy eggs, sausage (alternates pork and turkey sausage each day it seems), toast, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. - The customer service is good- my brand new bonus daughter called ahead and ordered the honeymoon package for my room since my honeymoon with her Dad had been cancelled due to weather so this pre-planned family trip kind of took its place. They set up our room beautifully and included some thoughtful 'hubby/wifey' gifts. Cons: - The breakfast on weekdays only goes until 9:30. That may seem late morning but when you want to sleep in after the parks it feels rushed. Moving it to 10am (the weekend end time) might be better received at least during high travel periods. - The elevators... we joked that the scariest ride was the elevators. The one on the right only worked for about 4 hours of our trip. The one on the left was... sketchy. We always worried it would get stuck. It didn't help that the posted permit had expired in November 2024 (six months ago). - Proximity to Disney. When you see 'maingate' you assume that it is near the main gate of the park. This is a 20-30 minute walk to the park. When you are already going to be on your feet a TON, it is not a welcome surprise. Don't be me- read the reviews in advance! This hotel is not really as close to the park as I would prefer. - $30 per vehicle per night parking fee. This seemed excessive. Location is within walking distance to downtown disney and disneyland parks, which makes it very convenient. They also offer free breakfast daily with hot choices - eggs, sausage, waffle, fresh fruit. My bathroom started leaking from the ceiling one night and Facilities checked it right away and fixed it the next day. Welcome Guest - What's included I was beyond happy with this hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Linda! The continental breakfast was not only so helpful but it had many good choices, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, bananas, cereal, bagels, and many other options. It made things so convenient to grab right before we headed out to Disneyland. The hotel was very clean and very nice rooms and spacious. You get a mini fridge, microwave, and little coffee maker. They have a 24hr gym and apparently a laundry room I didn't find out about until our last day here, lol. You need a key card to access the elevator which I like for security purposes. Plenty of parking available. Only 5 minutes from Disneyland if you're driving. We didn't want room service, and the front desk called to confirm that which was nice in case we made a mistake or forgot to take the slip off of the door. I would say the only con was not even drawers for clothes and not enough hanging closet space. But other than that, nothing really. Listen, I really like a cold bedroom, we keep our house at 68 every night. But this place blows cold air straight at your bed. I built a break wall with my suitcase and their ironing board (see pics) but it wasn't enough and so I had to build a pillow wall with my leftover pillows... and then I was sad that housekeeping undid all of my efforts. 6/19. Hotel felt new and clean. We could hear the room above us most of the night walking around which seemed odd for a newer hotel. Breakfast was pretty basic considering we just stayed at another Marriott down the street few days ago that had many more breakfast options. Last night before we checked in, I asked if we could switch the credit card we used to our Marriott Bonvoy, she said we could as long as we did it before checking out in the morning. Cool. This morning I went down to make the change and the guy at customer service said we couldn't. After 24hrs of booking you can't make changes he said. I told him the Marriott Residence did it for us zero problems. He said well, we are a franchise and not the same. Okay. Returning to my room something told me to look at my checkout invoice. Found 2 charges for market beverages and brought it to the front desks attention. He said our family made the charge and they verify room number and last name. Not possible. We all have coolers full of drinks and snacks, zero need to utilize the front desk market. He reverse the charges which I appreciate, but Just very concerning someone could charge to our room. He mentioned me requesting to lock my account when checking in; will do that in the future. Called a few days later to get an invoice for our stay and asked the lady if the charges were not. She reversed the charges and asked to speak to the GM. She heard my concerns and said she'd address it. read more

Very pleased with my stay here. Easy check in and the room it's had plenty of room. Quick drive to Disneyland parking or easy access to freeway. No issue with noise in hallways or outside. COVID meant breakfast was available to go in bags which I brought back to the room. Coffee and hot chocolate available. Items were very sugar heavy--vanilla yogurt, chocolate muffins, danish. Would be nice to have a hard boiled egg or breakfast sandwich or oatmeal for the microwave. Parking is $15/night and plenty of lighting. read more

Terrible here 212 is the room we stayed in and don't recommend this place the water backed up and took hours to drain. The shower water was fluctuating from scorching hot to like warm handle in shower didn't stay in place swivel back and forth. Ac doesn't work properly if you set the temperature it never turns off just keeps running had to wake up 2 twice at night to disconnect ac. New management alert -- and they are incredible. A big shout out to Jessica Salazar! My first experience at this hotel last year was God awful under previous management. This year was starkly different, all thanks to Jessica And her lovely staff. As someone who is disabled, I am quite choosy about where I stay especially hotels with a Jacuzzi and a lift. Last year, a controller left wasn't available nor was it charged by the time they got one. This year, Jessica and her staff insured to charge it ahead of time and it was readily available the day I arrived. Thank you for making this experience amazing and so Smooth. This hotel is fine. I wouldn't recommend walking to Disney from here but it's certainly convenient to the parking garage. The room was clean and well kept. My only complaint is that for some reason we were put in an accessible room which had a tub with a bench, instead of the nice updated walk in shower. We are platinum and I know sometimes they offer those as an upgrade since they're technically larger, but I would have preferred the nice bathroom. read more

Marriott has once again come through with an amazing stay! Came for one night while visiting Disney and although it was a bit far from the park, the walk isn't entirely too bad depending on your circumstances. Arrived around 2pm and my room was ready, parking is simple and they give you a placard to display as well. Front desk service was great and they got me settled in quick. The room was clean, fresh, tidy, and everything was cozy and comfy. The beds are always great at Marriott and it was no exception here plus the fluffy comforting sheets and pillows. Big bathroom, shower was a good size but the water pressure was the only downside. There are the typical room amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, safe, and a small "living room" area with a large couch and desk with a window that opens to see through the room to the bed. Not much of a view but no problem since I'm only here to sleep. The room faced Ball road and I was worried about the traffic noice but the windows do a good job blocking that noise. Took about 25 minutes to walk to and from Downtown Disney , they give you a map with simple instructions on how to get there also. Definitely recommend this for a stay if you don't mind the walk or ubering back and forth! read more

Atmosphere and staff were on point. All the amenities you really need are available. The toiletries are Paul Mitchell and TeaTree, awesome! Bathroom was up to date and huge! There were enough towels for my family for our whole stay. It was nice not having to ask for room service. The partition between the couch and beds was great for mild privacy and getting ready while others slept. The small kitchenette was nice and clean. The rooms on the backside can view fireworks from Disney. The noise was actually pretty good. Especially considering most guests are families going to Disneyland. The walk to Disney was short and easy, one of the closest hotels. Short of being a 5 star, this is the best hotel we've ever started in. The room was functional and large enough for 2 adults and 1 teen. Room looked like it was upgraded a couple years ago or so (a few dings here and there), but overall, very clean. It includes living room, fridge, microwave, walk-in closet w safe. The a/c is loud but was more like white noise for me. There is one elevator that had the slowest door opening/closing. It was a 17min walk from the hotel to Disneyland entrance. You can shorten your walk by taking the tram at the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, but we only found this useful when we were leaving Disneyland, heading back to the hotel. read more

Great location if you are going to Disneyland parks. Disneyland is within walking distance - you could also walk to the California Adventure Park if you wanted to. Pool and the hot tub is nice. I like that checkout is at 12p instead of earlier in the day - gives you time to sleep in, sip in the pool one last time and then leave. They do have breakfast every morning, which is nice also. What started off as a good stay turned into a nightmare. We booked this hotel since it was "walking" distance from Disneyland. They have free breakfast so we were able to grab some yogurt and fruits before heading off to Disney. After a long and tired day at Disney, we came back to our hotel. When I opened our hotel door, there was a strong odor. I told my husband that's weird. Why does the room smell like this. He walked in and the carpet was wet! The bathroom sink flooded. Dirt dust or whatever was all over the bathroom. We hurriedly grabbed our stuff and went downstairs to tell the front desk. The front desk told us that they are sold out for the night and she would have to call another hotel to room us. We waited and waited and waited. But she never figured it out for us. The kids were cranky and tired. She told us that she would give us some points so we can book our own hotel. BUT the points won't show up yet. How useless! We had to book our own hotel that night (not with points!). The next morning, Sunday, we called the hotel for an update. The person told us that they sanitized our stuff. We said no thank you. Why would I want stuff that has been in dirty water (especially hygienic items)? She told us that a manager would call us. We waited and waited. No calls. Finally we called on Monday and she told us that she sent our stuff to us and that the general manager will be in on Tuesday. Extremely disappointed on how the entire situation was handled.
