We sat on the front porch until dark talking about our visit to the Shaker Museum. Too bad there isn't any Shakers left in Kentucky - they didn't believe in having sex so without offspring they simply died off and that was the end of them and their religion.

At 5 p.m. I was getting ready to leave work and called again, this time the attendant I had been talking to had gone home for the day and the new one on duty told me the manager would not be back. All this time I had the driver waiting in his truck in the parking lot. I finally cancelled and made an immediate reservation at the Red Roof Inn with absolutely no trouble!
