I would give this place 10 starts if I could. I forgot to do mobile check in due to me arriving before 3pm. When I arrived the front desk let me check in with no problem. Very clean hotel inside and outside, they have a bar ,drinks were great. Complementary breakfast is every morning. There is a fire pit outside with seating. The rooms are equipped with a couch/ sofa bed. A table to set up your laptop if you're here for business, a microwave and refrigerator is provided. I completely forgot to take pictures of the room due to being on the go. Smh! There is a gym and inside pool. This is a nice hotel with lovely rooms, but the service we received when we booked a room block for our daughter's wedding was beyond horrible. When we were choosing a hotel for the room block, we checked out this hotel and another Marriott nearby. We went with this one because the woman we met with was so lovely and helpful and enthusiastic. At the time she told us we needed to meet a 20-room minimum to get the bridal suite comped for the wedding night, and that she would also reserve the suite for us the night before, which we understood we would pay for. She told us she would send us an updated list once a month on the 15th of the month. We never received one, and a few months beofre the wedding I reached out. It took multiple emails for me to hear back from the hotel and learn that she was no longer with the hotel. Fine, I understand that people leave jobs, and although I would have appreciated the new person reaching out to us, it was fine. However, a few weeks before the wedding, I reached out to confirm the availability of the suite for the night before and was told that it was no longer available despite it being reserved for us. This was very problematic as my daughter planned to have her bridal party get ready there. As a result we had to find a new place to get ready. A few days before the wedding, after multiple attempts to get someone at the hotel to help us, they told us that the suite was now available. It had been available all the time, in fact, but they were confused. As the wedding date approached, multiple guests tried to reserve rooms with the room code and were told that it was no longer valid, at which point they reserved rooms (which were in fact still available) paying full price. However, when my daughter checked out, we did not receive credit for these rooms and were therefore charged for the bridal suite. The week of the wedding I reached out several times to our contact by email, but did not receive a response until 4pm on the day of the wedding, at which point I was AT the wedding and unable to have my questions answered, which resulted in further incovenience. We also had reserved the shuttle to start running at 3pm until 4pm. Multiple guests were left waiting at the hotel, repeatedly asking at the front desk, and the shuttle did not arrive until around 3:20. Additionally, multiple guests reported that the driver drove very very fast. After all of these issues and the time, energy, and stress that the staff created for us, I would have expected them to work with us on the incorrect charge for the bridal suite, but they have really dug in their heels on it. The rooms at this hotel are nice, but every single aspect of our experience with the room block was terrible. I would stay at literally any other hotel rather than this one if you need anything beyond just a bed to sleep in at night. I usually love Marriotts, but this was the worst experience I have ever had at one. Please do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else for your wedding room block. read more

Well there are some good sides and then there are some not so good things. Location is nice and quiet. Pub adjacent to the hotel. People working there are nice. Gym available Inside pool (But, read below) Now for the price some things needs to be taken care off properly like the room, almost broken toilet paper holder, things on carpet. This is not acceptable. The inside pool is nice but it is like ice cold and then there is no shower place either before or after shower. The breakfast is free and the Egyptian person managing is also great but there is no toast available. I was told Marriott have removed toast from all their hotel chain breakfast menus. That's so weird!!! Why would you do that? I expected this to be better than days inn or comfort inn but sadly it's not and the only thing different is the price. read more

I would describe this hotel using terms like "fine, adequate and not bad". When I checked in, I found the front desk unstaffed. After multiple "hello" chants, and a few minutes of waiting, a woman appeared. She didn't offer an apology, didn't mention my Marriott Bonvoy membership, and seemed bored, removed or aloof (or all of the above), as she ran down a few necessary items. These items included a limited breakfast and no housekeeping due to COVID. She wore a mask, though several other hotel employees I encountered did not. The hotel is new and quite clean, and the breakfast, which is included, is pretty good and well prepared and attended by the Marriott staff. The rooms are "fine" with a comfortable bed, good water pressure, and an ample desk. Detractions include a very uncomfortable couch and chair, and a window that cannot be opened. We stay here mainly due to the location which is convenient. The hotel is located directly next to the The Imperia, a Banquet Center for Weddings, Banquets or Events. When The Imperia is busy, so is this hotel. read more

I was very impressed by the hotel staying here for only one night. The hotel is extremely sleek and modern and the staff at the front was friendly and welcoming, even though I checked in around 9pm. The check-in process didn't take long which is always great..the lobby has a small area for snacks and drinks for purchase and offers a huge dining area where their continental breakfast is hosted. There's a bar to the back left along with high tables and couches for your enjoyment. There is a very small fitness center and a decent sized pool on the first floor right by the elevators. I was really impressed by the rooms itself when I first walked through the doors. My room offered a good size living space with a pull out sofa and a desk with a small partition. The two queen beds were so inviting along with a very good size walk in closet. The bathroom offered Paul Mitchell products and had good lighting, perfect to see your imperfections during make up time ( haha!). Everything about the room was appealing because it was so clean. The location of the hotel is nearby plenty of amenities such as banks, gas stations, super markets, Dunkin' Donuts, and restaurants. Since we came here for a friend's wedding, we spent only one night and drove around seeing all the different things that part of town offers. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan on getting married at The Imperia, which is just down the block from the venue! It is a bit on the pricey side, even with my friends discounted rare for her wedding, but definitely worth the money since the money matched the service and the cleanliness! read more

Excellent new property. The parking lot is large and well lit. There is an indoor pool and weight room. The rooms are large and have a clean modern feel to them. The bed was super comfortable and there was no noise from next door rooms. There was a walk in shower with lots of hot water and good water pressure. They serve a pretty standard continental breakfast - solid, but not great. There is 24hr coffee and tea in the lobby. There is also an outdoor lounge area with a fire pit. Trash hospitality skills. I demand that this woman face financial penalties and an unpaid suspension from work. The reason why I say this: I came from the Fairfield down the road originally because I required a king sized bed and they did not have any available at that point in time. I requested to be moved to another location if possible and they were awesome! If I didn't need a king sized bed I would've never left there the bed's were actually much more comfortable over there and they had much better people with hospitality skills over there. I literally checked in just before 11pm. Left around 6am. Called back extending my stay to 4pm and asked for a crib. Then everything was kosher until about 12pm after that due to the fact that my door was knocked on at almost 12pm. House keeping knocked I told her we're not checking out till 4pm. Now mind you I just got to lay down at 10:30am. First time I was not upset at all they were just doing their job... EXCEPT the woman comes back at 12:55 and doesn't even knock she bursted open in the door! I called down to the front desk calmly and apologized for requesting this but I had to get my money back because I did not get any sleep and my room was barged into TWICE. I got connected to the GM MELIDA FERREIRA then she was snappy and rude after I said "I apologize I have to do this but I need a refund and I'm checking out" Long story short she ends up disrespecting me and telling me she refuses to refund me for my stay "because of the rate that I was using". Regardless of whatever rate if I was paying $10 or $1,000 for the room I would have gotten the same experience! This woman put my family under such emotional distress I was so furious I lost my appetite. This woman is a nasty, rude, and ignorant human being who'm has no business working in the hospitality industry. It could have been an amazing review as I loved the room and the other but I could tell some of the people were dreading their day because of the management they worked under. She claims that I threatened her that I wanted to fight which is an absolute god forsaken lie because all I said to her was "Do you know who I am? Because you have no idea who you're dealing with right now" and clearly her aggressive and rude self took that as I wanted to fight a 54 year old woman. She's a complete lunatic and is more than likely a bully. She takes her anger out on other people instead of looking within. I try my best to be one of the most genuine people on this earth except when it comes to situations like these I wish other people had the same mindset about how they treat others. Also the customer is always right until they're satisfied!Doesn't matter if they're an employee, or a family member of an employee. How does she know that I wasn't sent by corporate to evaluate the property or how they treat certain guests? What if I was someone that reviewed hotels for a living? I could have been a mystery shopper for all she knows! Marriott Headquarters knows what's up! You think I would jeopardize my reputation or perform any misconduct meanwhile holding my status? Oh also I didn't even get my welcoming gift on arrival this place is a complete disrespect to my status regardless of what rate I pay because quite frankly I don't think anything would have been any different even if I had paid $250-300 for the night. Stayed at this hotel for two nights as my medical college exam was located only 8 minutes away. Booking was not necessarily easy. I had booked earlier in the day and was told that my card wouldn't be charged but that my earlier reservation was not in the system. Unfortunately, I was charged twice (a total of 760) for this hotel. Immediately, contacted my bank and had it resolved. As previously mentioned by an earlier reviewer, this hotel is adequate and not terrible. The easily scary thing to mention is the lack of security or presence at the front desk. During check in, I had to call out to the staff for about three minutes before anyone actually came to check me in. I let this go. However, while preparing for my exam, I left the hotel about five times to get lunch and also to visit the library. Upon returning, no one was at the front desk on each encounter. I saw them either in the back chatting on their cell phones, or in a small staff room located behind the desk with the door completely closed. I was allowed to simply just stroll right in and straight to the back. At one point during the second night, I ordered uber eats and was shocked when I opened the door to a knock and my delivery driver was standing at the door. That's unacceptable and poses a safety risk to not only myself but anyone in the hotel not aware of this visitor. Anything can happen. At check in, I was told that there is limited housekeeping. Limited housekeeping in the times of COVID? Understandable within some limits. There still should be someone frequently spraying the common areas and at least offering you new sheets. This is where we come to the worst part of my stay. After the first night, I decided to untuck the sheets just to check the room for any sanitary issues. On the bottom of the sheet and blanket, there were abnormally large blood stains splattered throughout the material. I was so horrified, that I did not even stop to take a picture and ran to the front desk to alert them. I understand that this is something that can be easily missed when doing dry cleaning. However, this large amount of blood would have been seen while tucking the blanket and sheet into the bed. It's extremely upsetting that these sheets were not thrown away at the first sight of blood on them. The bedroom was remotely clean. Few stains in the carpet. Missed hairs beneath the toilet bowl and in the corners of the bathroom and top of the shower head. Again, not something to fret over but still a little disheartening considering the price of the hotel. After the incident with the blood, I was transferred to a new room. However, no mention of a rate deduction nor apology was given. This new room was slightly cleaner, however on top of the bed were lights that had clearly not been cleaned since COVID as they both had white residue caked all over them. Again, given my wrecked brain from my exam, I was so fatigued to take a picture. But, the sight was disgusting as the pillows are situated very close to these lights. The deadbolt on the door was broken and required you to twist the knob four to five times for it to reset otherwise, the door would not close behind you and someone would gain access to you. This must've been a problem with a couple of rooms as I saw multiple doors open. This presents another safety concern as some people may be hard of hearing and not hear the slam of the lock against the door frame before exiting the room which would easily allow someone to gain access into their room. A devastating feat as there is no safe in the room to protect anything. There was a small mini fridge and microwave. Mini fridge in the second room did not work. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Not many qualms to be had except for, when pouring hot water for the tea, the water that came out was discolored. I did not see anyone change these water holders throughout the day and just opted to buy water from the local CVS and heat it up with a microwave. Amenities like the pool (wherever that was) were closed due to "construction" so I am unable to comment on that. The walls are thin and let me tell you...you will be able to hear your neighbors...enjoying themselves and making good use of the spacious room to say the least...if you know what I'm getting at. All in all, I'm not sure if I'd stay again if my medical school exam was to be repeated in this town. Sure, the bed was comfortable but I'd rather sleep on a bloodless brick with security at the front door. read more

Enjoy this beautiful facility while it's still relatively new, because the staff is an under-educated inexperienced joke that is not likely to maintain it. Housekeeping in particular was very hit or miss and had to be called and requested to clean my room. And if they forget to clean your room during the day, that's too bad because they don't work in the evening. They have no luggage stands except for a wooden bench that is affixed to the top of the HVAC unit in your room so that is the last place you'd lay down your suitcase! Breakfast was pretty typical free buffet fare, but the eggs were particularly bad...slimy and way oversalted. Made me feel queasy. Presiding over breakfast was a character who reminded me of "Rifki" from the film Midnight Express. read more

Springhill suite may be new, but they definitely have what it takes to make it to the big leagues. We stayed overnight for a friend's wedding just right next door. While the wedding venue may have disappointed, Springhill suites certainly maintained all the bells and whistles at a reasonable price. For about $100+, my wife and I stayed in a huge room with a large TV, hot piping showers, reasonable gym (free weights and some treadmills) and free fast wifi throughout the whole establishment. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also impressive with some of the best cereal spread, yogurt, and a make your own waffle station. And also, 24/7 free coffee station doesn't hurt. read more

Overall I would say this is a nice clean hotel. I could not give 5 stars in good conscience because house cleaning did not arrive to the room until 6:00pm. Very inconvenient, unprofessional and really falls short especially considering that this hotel is not inexpensive. The house cleaning department needs major improvements. Very clean, quiet and spacious. However.....there was no FULL LENGTH MIRROR in my room. Was there for a 3 day long wedding. Had to dress for multiple different occasions. I called front desk and they didnt offer me a mirror or offer to change my room. Not Happy! Also FD gave the wrong information regarding the dinner arrangements. Told us to go to the brewery at 7 but the festivities there did not start until 9 and the dinner was actually held right there in the HOTEL at 7:30. How FD did not know this is beyond me. My advice: if your going to stay here request a full length mirror if you need one and dont ask tge staff any questions. read more

While the actual hotel is beautiful, dealing with them for our wedding block was an absolute nightmare. I should've seen the red flags when they didn't answer any of my initial calls or emails to set up a viewing and I just went and showed up in person. Our in person meeting went well and Kristen was very helpful in setting up our 50 room block. Then it went downhill. Our emails were never answered. I'd have to send a few emails before I'd hear back "I'll get back to you today", and then two days later still nothing and I'd have to call and email again with no response. Once i let them have it, they were apologetic and said things would be fixed...they weren't. As it got closer to the wedding they still weren't being responsive so I made the 40 minute drive to talk to someone in person again where Wayne helped us. I confirmed 4 times; through email, phone, and in person about our shuttle times. Fast forward to wedding weekend...they lost my in laws reservation even though we had confirmation. They said our block was full even though it wasn't. Said our guests can call them and they'll book their rooms...they told my guests there were no more rooms left again (even though there were). Once we finally got in touch with a competent person, our guests had gotten frustrated and just booked at a different hotel. Lost business. Day before wedding, i confirm AGAIN for the shuttles, one being for the Bridal party at 8:30 am and they made me feel like i was a crazy person for confirming over and over again. Well 8:30 am wedding day comes....no shuttle. They said they had no note of a shuttle for us!! Not apologetic one bit at all. Acted like i never asked for the shuttle and it was my fault!Samir came to the rescue and got a shuttle to bring us. Not a good start to my wedding day. The next day, Samir made me a waffle and brought it to me. He's a rockstar and the reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 (though he personally deserves 5). They offered absolutely no compensation (and didn't even seem to care about) for the headache they caused us. Our guests enjoyed their stay and their breakfast was good but do NOT book your wedding block there if you don't feel like adding more stress to your wedding planning!! read more
