Perfect hotel if being close to the AIRPORT is important to you, it is literally across the street from the airport. However I did not need to go to the airport, I drove here for a quick one night stay for work. Because the trip was last minute all the Marriott brand hotels in the city were sold out and this was my only option. It is inconvenient dealing with the delays associated with driving to an airport to get to your hotel and is 15 minutes outside the city. Having said that... This is a newer hotel, maybe 2 years old, and makes for a VERY COMFORTABLE stay! King suite has a nice king size bed, desk/work area, couch bed that can turn into a bed, big TV, mini fridge and microwave and a nice bathroom. The fitness center is a good size with more machines and free weights than you typically get. Hotel was very clean and I had a quiet nights sleep. I would prefer to be in the city next time but is a solid option. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE WITH KIDS I stayed at this hotel this past weekend. I traveled with my daughter, who is an infant. I requested a crib for her to sleep in on the reservation and called 2 days before arrival as well as the day of arrival to confirm one would be available. I informed the front desk employee on the day of arrival that I'd be happy to bring my own crib for her if one would not be available there and she assured me that there was one that would be cleaned and set up in my room when we arrived. When we checked in in the middle of the night (flight was delayed), there was no crib. The hotel was not able to find one and offered us pillows instead. I explained pillows are a suffocation risk for babies. The night employee, Amber, was very helpful and had another hotel drop off one of their cribs for us to use. This whole process took 2 hours and we barely got any sleep. We are very grateful to Amber for fixing this though! I called 2 full business days ago requesting to speak to the manager about the experience. I was forwarded to Vanessa and left a voicemail requesting a call back. I have attempted to reach the GM (V.Paulson) at this location No less than 20 times over the last year. Today I called and spoke with someone once again who told me she was out running errands. That is typically the response I get regardless of time of day that I call. I explained the story below once again and asked for a callback. By 3 PM, still no return call so I called again. I was told that she was not going to be available for the rest of the day. When I explained who I was, they shared that they had spoken with her and that she said she would not be able to help me. So it appears she is in communication with her staff about this incident, but continues to refuse to provide a response or any degree of customer service. Nobody at the location is aware of who this GM reports to so I have filed an online complaint. I will continue to leave reviews in multiple locations until I'm able to find resolution. From 5/20/25: I checked in late after a long flight. Upon entering my room, I realized it was 84°,although the thermostat was set to 66°. I attempted troubleshooting for several minutes before calling down to the front desk to ask for maintenance. Front desk advised that Maintenance was unavailable. I explained the problem and they offered to check to see if there was another room available. There was not. I asked if I could receive a refund so I could check out and move hotels. They said they would come up and check the air for me. I waited for another 15 minutes and then took my suitcase downstairs to find the receptionist sitting at the front desk. I asked again for a refund. She let me know she was not authorized to do so, but made a note in the system and guaranteed a call from the general manager the next day. I checked out and went to the hotel next-door. I waited the next business day for a phone call from the general manager, but did not receive one. The following day I called and left the general manager a message. The call went unreturned. The next day, I called again and asked front desk to please write down my message and deliver to the general manager. They did not return my call. I would like to hear from hotel management so I can receive a refund on a room I could not use. I am happy to remove the negative review once resolved. As a fellow member of the customer service industry, I'm hopeful Marriott can do better read more

Had a early morning flight out of Spokane Airport and didn't want to have family drive so early to get me here (or potentially miss the flight) - so spent the night here. Springhill Suites is the newest lodging property near Spokane Airport. The hotel doesn't even offer a shuttle - because you can literally walk across the crosswalk to get to the terminal. This was something that played a great role in my decision to stay here - despite having elite status with IHG (which owns a few properties in the area). The parking lot is secured with a gate that you have to pull a ticket to enter (and get validated). I imagine this is due to the proximity to the airport. Ellie assisted me with check-in, and I only had to wait a few minutes at the front desk before she walked over - I had a late check-in since my sister wanted to take me to a Spokane Chiefs game (GO Chiefs!) before dropping me off here for the evening. Ellie was prompt and professional, mentioning the amenities such as breakfast (which I couldn't partake in since I had a early flight), the fitness center (24 hrs with keycard), market pantry, and also took the time to explain walking directions to the terminal when I had asked. I had booked a King Suite and requested a higher floor/away from elevator. Happy to say both requests were accommodated. The room is a good size - suitable for solo travel or two travelers. Might be tight fit for a family. I took several photos of the space (attached to this review) including the sofa/daybed - which converts into sleeping space. There is a coffee maker, microwave and compact fridge setup - make sure you press the "ON" button in the fridge to start it up when you first check into the room. The workstation has multiple outlets - and plenty of USB ports to charge all your devices. This is the first time in recent years that I didn't have to take out my travel surge outlet to charge up my USB-powered devices. Kudos to Marriott for actually considering today's travelers and ensuring there are viable outlets to recharge (something IHG/Intercontinental can borrow a page from despite being geared towards "business travelers"). Bathroom facilities are sufficient - sliding door that actually locks - the walk-in shower format is decent for my short stay, but a bathtub would've probably been appreciated if I was staying longer and looking to soak. Not sure I'm fond of the "bulk" dispensers - since I imagine they can be tampered with - so I just used my own toiletries I had packed for the trip. Bed was comfy - but I didn't sleep much since I knew I had to be up relatively early for my flight. Room thermostat was a pain to adjust, since it never got cooler than "71*F" - despite my adjustment to "67*F". Toilet had a slight clog - but still flushed if you wait a few minutes between each flush. I stopped by the market later in the evening to pick up a pint of ice cream for dessert/late night snack, and was assisted by Ron. I'm glad the market doesn't mark-up the prices too much - the pint of Hagen-Daaz ice cream turned out to be $6.54 - which is only slightly higher than what you'd find it at the grocery store. Makes sense for the convenience. They have disposable utensils near the freezer. There's a indoor swimming pool (which was closed for maintenance), and a 24-hour fitness room with various machines/equipment. Checkout was prompt and efficient - I was helped by the gentleman that assisted me with the ice cream purchase the previous evening - Ron. I shared with him my concerns about the recent flight situation (I was traveling during a time when Seattle was hit with an epic ice storm which grounded most Alaska Airlines flights, followed by Southwest cancelling all their flights) - mainly that I was checking out earlier than usual since I had a early flight - but unsure whether it would be cancelled or not. Ron assured me that if my flight was delayed or cancelled, he'd be happy to "reinstate" my reservation so I could wait it out until actual check-out time. Ron also went above and beyond when I asked him for directions to the terminal (since I was relatively unfamiliar with the area) - and he actually walked me to the door from the hotel - which led to a crosswalk that took me straight to the terminal. Above and beyond! I'll definitely plan on staying here again the next time I have a early flight out/late flight in from Spokane Airport. Super convenient to be so close to the terminal, comfortable and clean accommodations, with great/friendly staff members such as Ellie and Ron. TIP: Join the Marriott Bonvoy (rewards program) if you haven't already. There's always promos so you can earn bonus points/status. In addition, for flexibility, book directly with the hotel whenever you can. You'd be surprised how much more flexible the hotel can get when you run into issues if you booked directly with them versus a third-party travel site such as Expedia/Travelocity/Hotwire, etc. read more

This hotel is total garbage. I stayed here because I had a 5am flight out and after a long workday, all I wanted was a shower and nothing came out but cold water! I called the front desk at 7pm and they told me there was no maintenance on site, no manager on duty, and all the rooms were booked so I wasn't going to get my shower. They did not offer me any credit or refund. Further, parts in the bathroom are literally falling off the cabinets and not being fixed. Take my advice and stay somewhere else. read more

We had a nice stay here. The room seemed very clean and was fairly new. The service was also great. The room was quiet as well, and the parking was very easy. We stayed here as a stop on a road trip so we didn't care about the location too much; if you're using the airport then it is super convenient (literally steps away from the airport). The downsides: the shower door was not designed well- it opens into the shower and you can't turn on the shower water without stepping into it directly. The breakfast is free and that's about all I can say about it; its pretty bottom-of-the-barrel quality. The price point is probably a bit high for the value. read more

At 2:15 am, after a 12 hour day of flying, complete with a 3 hour delay, I learned that Springhill suites will give away a pre-paid room if you're late getting in. Me and my girlfriend, who is disabled, uses canes, and can't easily walk long distances, were sent walking quite a ways in snow flurries to the Ramada next door. I was not offered any kind of restitution for this fairly significant inconvenience. In fact the front desk woman seemed pretty nonchalant about it, as if this is very normal. I've never dealt with a more RUDE front desk person before until I met Ara. I go to check in and she tells me that they overbooked and don't have a room for me. I ask how can that be when I just called 45 minutes prior and spoke with a representative and paid for a room over the phone. She proceeds to get loud with me in front of my child and other customers and tells me there's no way I called and made a reservation....I explain to her that I didn't call YOU, I called the Marriott's customer service line and yes I did make a reservation. I ask her to stop being so loud and request that she be a little more professional and she then threatens to refuse service to me...I know she's stressed because she just had to tell the people in front of me the same thing, that they have no rooms for them....unbelievable!! Bottom line: it was a good stay. Modern rooms, a swimming pool, hot breakfast, and an option to have some dinner/drinks in the lobby area. All in all, not a bad place to relax but the location is not as so convenient if your aim / agenda is for downtown Spokane. Rooms: the room we stayed in was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable but nothing to write home about. We took advantage of the trundle that came with the sofa, which was nice as it gave each person a place to sleep on. The only thing that was odd was the shower and it's controls, which was on the opposite end of each other. (Be prepared to take the initial cold water when you get in as the door going into the shower won't let you just pre-heat). The room also had a fridge and microwave for those that want to bring some amenities. The hotel also had a small indoor pool, but it's really small. Maybe there times the size of a normal hot tub. Breakfast: you get hot sausages, scrambled eggs, and sometimes a waffle maker. It's again nothing to rave about but it's a free breakfast and it hits the spot. Parking: it's right the airport so they keep the parking pretty tight. If you parked a car and need in-and-out privileges, than speak with the front desk as they will get you a validated parking ticket for your entire stay. It was easy. Also, they have about 4 Tesla Charging stations in their parking lot. Overall: nice stay but I would probably look for something closer to Spokane central next time. It's a little off from I90 so not as convenient for those traveling West or East but it's a Marriott property and does well to hold its reputation. read more

I did a letter of Authorization for a reservation. They added another reservation that I did not authorize. I was charged for the legitimate stay and for a fraudulent stay. I have made a complaint with the front desk and customer service. The manager was supposed to call me back heard nothing. When I called and said the one receipt is a mistake they said no someone was checked in and had a room number.This is outrageous I would never stay there or book for anyone else. Please look at your charges if you have stayed here. I have done letters of authorization for 8 years and always stayed at Marriott locations never had anything like this happen extremely shady. A colleague and I made reservations here weeks ago as we were landing in Spokane after 10pm so thought it would be convenient. Being the seasoned traveler that I am, I called the hotel yesterday to mention that we were arriving late and just make sure that we had rooms available and the front desk person said no problem that they are used to people arriving late because they are an airport hotel. All good right? Went to check in at 10:30pm and were told that they had no rooms available even though we both had reservations. They tried to stick us in some low budget hotel next-door and we ended up going to the Davenport in downtown Spokane, which is my preferred hotel anyway. The front desk person at Springhill didn't offer any kind of compensation or suggest I speak to Marriott but you can rest assured I will be calling them tomorrow. Very bad situation. read more

I was just warned by yelp to make sure I account for businesses doing their best amid COVID-19 restrictions... That will definitely be accounted for. I traveled for over 10 years using Marriott as my primary hotel, got a new job, took a year or so before hitting the road for work for the first time in a long time. Thought I should rekindle this old relationship with never the best but always the most reliable, Marriott, where you never really see luxury, but you can guarentee at least a nice soft bed and a clean room for the most part... Not here... NOPE, let me arrive exhausted from spending all day in the car and installing equipment, let me bag drag to the front desk, while wearing my mask and really concerned about being on the side of my state that is struggling to control new outbreaks at the time... ... let me get a key card and head up to my room, straight to the bathroom for long needed relief from the last few miles when I notice there's a bunch of long black hair all over the bathroom floor, I go to wash my hands and around the corner I notice my bed was ruffled like someone had been laying on it or sleeping in it or something, I finish washing my hands and face and grab a towel to dry off and... ugh... put an already used towel that was refolded and put back on the rack on my face... it was damp, and I was furious. Then I noticed the rest of the room, crumbs around the couch, bits of plastic and cardboard strewn all over the carpet, the room was just dirty and used... and that's what I was given during a pandemic. I understand mistakes, but the one thing I used to trust this hotel for, when I really needed them to come through on it, when I'm already super concerned being on the road during the pandemic... and this happens. I called customer service to complain back in August, at least hoped I'd get some kind of an apology at a minimum for handing a long standing customer a filthy room during a pandemic... Nope, nothin. So, f*ck Marriott, I'll never stay at one of their hotels again, and I'll just leave this here. read more

They have been under crazy pressure to keep rooms clean, serve food and drinks to guests, and doing all of that for guests who are tired, sad, and emotional. They have done all of this with smiles and tremendous compassion. They are all a stellar example of Marriott Hotels. read more

Our stay was off to a rough start when we went into the bathroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. Turns out the chain had broken from the flapper. I started to try to fix it myself but ended up calling the front desk. The front desk staff came to try to fix it but it ended up being totally broken, so they moved us to a new room. The hotel itself was nice and new. The new room seemed clean enough, but we only stayed there less than 12 hours and it was dark when we got there and dark when we left. The hotel is even closer than the other two in the area, so that's nice. Parking is free but if you need to leave your car longer it's $6/day. The restaurant was mediocre at best, and not surprisingly overpriced, but at least it has a restaurant that allows takeout. Overall nice because it's new. read more

The woman Teresa who works in your bar is NOT a nice person! I watched her treat another one of your employees like a DOG on Friday night and was absolutely apalled. The cute, younger server was working and here comes this rude, old lady, making a scene - in front of customers - telling her if she is going to work (even though the young girl was trying to not cry and tell her she was scheduled to be behind the bar) in the kitchen or she could leave. Quite frankly, as an owner of a business myself, I was absolutely FLOORED someone didn't come in and tell that woman to GO. HOME! There is a room fan that blows that you cannot turn off. Called the front desk and they said "There is nothing we can do about it, it is on a timer." ??? What? So it is just blowing all night and I cannot turn it off. 9:00pm on a Sunday night: bar is closed, no room service. Just made cup-o-noodles using hot water from coffee machine, had to hunt down a plastic fork. the only reason this place stays in business is because of airport travelers.
