View of the city from the patio off the room

This hotel is a must! So accommodating and pleasant. The view was beautiful. The room was perfect. The breakfast was over the top. Perfect in every way. This little gem is perfection!!

It's our last morning at Inn on the Cliff in St. George Utah and we already want to come back here. What a fabulous Birthday weekend we had. Such a beautiful place to stay. The service was too notch. The room was simply fantastic and the town of St. George was so inviting. This place is the greatest. Can't wait to get back.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend. It's a motel on the cliff there. They have a restaurant right next to the rooms. We had a second floor room with a private balcony. We had a great time. Room was serviced each day. Breakfast was a parfait, cinnamon rolls, cheese and salted almonds with a glass of orange juice. In room coffee. Bed was super comfortable. Would stay again

I spent one enjoyable night at this Inn. The building is older but it is very clean and well maintained. This is a motel type Inn. I was on the second floor and the Inn doesn't have an elevator. My room was very nice and well furnished with all the usual amenities. What set it apart was the view from my balcony. This Inn truly is set on a cliff and the view of St. George from my room was spectacular. The Inn also includes a restaurant and a pool. They bring a free breakfast to your room at 7am. The young man who was at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. When I am back in St. George I will be making another visit to this Inn.

The special surf and turf at Cliffside Restaurant on site! Amazing $71

Amazing! Cleanest hotel I have seen since la Maurice in Paris. Modern design rooms with a small terrace that overlooks the city. Every room has the same view as the rooms are 'motel' style with outside entrances. Small boutique hotel that surpasses all expectations. Bed and bedding were a welcome after a long day of driving. An empty fridge for your use (besides the two complimentary water bottles and creamer for your coffee) They truly think of all the small things to make you comfortable. Salt water pool and hot tub with expanding views. Truly a place of respite. I added a second night just to enjoy the space and zen I am feeling. Breakfast delivered to your room with minutes of calling for it. Fresh Fresh Fresh granola over yogurt and fruit and homemade warm Cinnemon puff. Real orange juice. I just can't say enough or recommend this cute well run and friendly staffed hotel enough. And the onsite restaurant will blow your mind! No need to drive or get delivery when this restaurant is one of the best in town. With a wall of windows you feel connected to the sky.

    Another gorgeous balcony view.

If there is a finer hotel in St, George, I don't know what it is. In fact, I don't even want to know what it is. As you smarties might have guessed, the hotel is located on a cliff. Every room has a view and every view is spectacular. You look down on the entire town and there are magnificent red rocks all around. Zion National Park is off to the northeast. Hot air balloons fly in the distance and, in fact, land about 200 yards from the hotel (yes, really). It's simply a stunning view. The rooms are very modern and updated. They are also spotless. The bed is large and extremely comfortable and you can enjoy that great view from your bed. The shower is great. There's a very nice-sized balcony with chairs so you can enjoy that million dollar view. And every morning , you get a terrific breakfast delivered to your door: orange juice, hard boiled egg, yogurt with fruit and granola, cheese, and a fantastic warm cinnamon roll. Parking outside your room is free and there's a pool and jacuzzi just a few steps away, again, all with that view. Also a few steps away is a very good restaurant (Cliffside) that I highly recommend. The front desk people could not have been nicer. And it's all for a very reasonable price. Highly, highly recommended.

They serve complimentary breakfast in the mornings that consists of bagels, breads, eggs, tortillas, sausage or bacon, waffles or French toast sticks, oatmeal, yogurt, fruits, cereal, hard boiled eggs, juices and coffee. They had a wide variety of condiments and toppings to choose from as well. The seating was a little limited during the busy weekends, but manageable. They kept all items refilled quickly to make sure everyone was fed! I loved seeing the manager working hard to keep the hotel lobby and eating area cleaned up during this time and assisting with the food service. You can tell he really takes pride in the appearance of the hotel and making sure the guests have the best experience! That was awesome to see each morning! We had a room on the 5th floor which had excellent views. We were able to control the temperature to our preference, which was probably a bit chilly than most people like it, but it was great to walk into on hot days after exploring St George. We were able to store drinks in the mini fridge (no freezer area). We also took advantage of the drink filling station at the water fountain daily! I would have liked to see more outlets available by the beds for charging and plug in abilities. If you are sleeping double to a queen, only one person near the table is going to be able to charge their phone and be near it. There are other outlets located throughout the room however, just not near the bed. I loved that they also have wall mounted shampoo, conditional and body wash. Its and excellent product and we ended up using that instead of the travel sizes we brought with us. We will definitely book another stay in the future when back in the area!

That changed the moment I walked in. I was greeted by some of the nicest people I have ever met. They could tell we were tired from the road and treated us with real kindness. Our room was ready, and they handed us water, snacks, and warm fresh cookies. What kind of silliness was this. Awesome!!!! The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, and a bright, clean bathroom. You can tell they recently renovated because everything looked fresh and updated. I went back downstairs to ask about the chargers on the side of the building and how much they cost. They told me it was complimentary. No cost at all. I plugged in at 40 percent and woke up to a full charge at 100 percent. That alone made my morning. Breakfast the next day was another pleasant surprise. The ladies running the breakfast area were so nice, even when my daughter got a little too excited with the sprinkles for her waffle. They even had a sign saying they could adjust food for dietary needs. The whole setup was clean and welcoming. They also have a great little snack shop, and again the front desk staff stood out. I cannot stress this enough. These were some of the nicest people I have ever met at a hotel. Even though it was just an overnight stay, I really enjoyed it. We don't need much as we spend very little time at the hotel when we visit St George. We come for the hiking...full stop. We don't expect luxury, spa, fancy dining or any fluff. We love the simplicity of the entire Tru brand. Let's discuss shall we? Check in-Simple. Download the app, check in online and receive a digital key sent to your phone to access your room. Literally zero human interaction Room-Small but efficiently designed, always clean with a few toiletries provided. Bed & pillows are very comfortable and offer a great nights sleep. Toiletries-Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion all in large bottles attached to the walls. I actually appreciate and prefer this model vs the mini bottles. Most people bring their own products, myself included. Also, most people take extra home with intentions of using them and guess what, they collect in a random drawer in the guest bath for years until they move or die then someone throws dozens of wasted plastic and expired products in the trash. Ty hotels for saving is all the headache! Also, the brand Tru offers smells so good! Gym-24/7 access which we love. It's on the smaller aide but offers an impressive amount of equipment. 2 treadmills, an elliptical, 1 weight bench, weights 5-40 lbs, stability straps which I loved, a Bosu, 3 stability balls, several matts and a box for jumping. Think I saw a few Kettles too. Free Breakfast-Always impressed with what's offered for free at the free breakfast here. Scrambled eggs and some type of breakfast protein is always offered. Oatmeal with tons of fixings, yogurt, cereals, several juices, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and the most popular item...the mini pancakes! There are 2 pancake machines you simply wave your hand in front of and makes you a little hot fresh pancake! There were multiple toppings including sugar free syrup. Refreshments-24/7 regular & decaf coffee and hot water for tea. 2 flavors to choose for cream, a few types of sweeteners. It's really great coffee too! In the morning there ice water & citrus infused water. Common Areas-For as small as the lobby os it has several seating areas to sit and work on your lap top, eat, or play games with the family. Tru does a great job at providing family entertainment too with big screens to watch tv on, a pool table and lots of games to play too! We don't spend mich time at the hotel outside of sleeping, a workout and a quick bite before hitting the road but we're always hapoy with our stays. We will be back!

We arrived really late at night, around 2:30-3:00 AM, and ended up standing outside the hotel entrance for about 10-15 minutes because nobody was at the front desk. We were calling the front desk number and nobody answered. Luckily, there happened to be another guest sitting in the lobby -- honestly a blessing at that hour -- and he let us inside so we weren't stuck outside in the cold. Even after getting inside, we still waited another 10 minutes or so before someone from the front desk finally showed up. We called the front desk number again while inside and still got no answer. Overall, it took close to 20-25 minutes just to see an attendant and get checked into the room. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels and have some level of membership with them, and at most locations it's pretty common to at least be greeted warmly or offered something simple like points or water bottles. Unfortunately, when the attendant finally showed up after the long wait, it honestly looked like she didn't care at all. I even asked if they had any water bottles available and she simply said no. She just didn't seem welcoming or interested in being there, which was disappointing considering a hotel front desk is a customer service role. Once we finally got into the room though, everything was fine and pretty standard with no other issues during the stay.
