Stayed here last night and slept soundly ! Beds comfortable and woke up feeling refreshed and regenerated !! It's a nice concept to have the barn doors for the shower and also the toilet which are two different rooms with two different sinks ! Only bad thing is the doors are heavy to move . The breakfast area is located in the lobby area . So because of this the lobby area is very noisy in the morning. This hotel has prepackaged waffles or you can make your own . They have premade croissants with ham and egg sandwiches and also fixings to make your own. They have premade oatmeal and many toppings to add to it. They have milk , chocolate milk, coffee, tea and other drinks also ! Great selection of breakfast here . Staff were pleasant and attentive. This hotel has a pool but we didn't go in it but it looked refreshing . Would we stay here again ? If in area most definitely!!

Passing through on our way back north. Checked-in with a super friendly and delightful woman at the front desk. Excellent customer service. She was able to give me as a Gold member an upgraded room which was very nice. I am glad we checked in earlier because the poor gal was by herself and the place was very busy. We went through the lobby about 5:30pm and there were at least 6 groups in-line - get this lady some help! The room was very pleasant and big with a nice two part bathroom layout. Also it was the first time I had a hotel shower in a mid-range place that had body jets. I have to get me some of those. The one downside in the room was that the fridge had no freezer section. Also the TV system was not working the whole time - which I was warned about at check-in. At check-out they discounted our rate for this inconvenience which was very appropriate and appreciated. I would recommend getting a room on the side of the hotel away from I-75 - it was quite loud. They had a modified breakfast service which worked just fine. Overall a very positive experience.

I had a very comfortable stay at the Springhill Suites, even with the current COVID-19 pandemic. All employees wore face masks, and they were required when navigating throughout the hotel. Our room was very clean upon arrival, and had its own independent Heating and Cooling Unit. The two beds were very comfortable, as well as the pillows. I really recommend this Springhill Suites if you want a safe and comfortable place to spend the night in Macon.

I really liked the modern room style which is why i choose this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. This hotel is pretty pricey based on other hotels in the area but because of the way it looked and the area I chose this one. I wanted something different, not just another hotel. A lot of miscommunication happened even before I checked in and even during my stay. I called the hotel and asked if I could pay my deposit with cash the representative advised that would be fine. When I got there it was a different story so I had to leave and come back because I had to put the money BACK on my card. Once I finally checked in I was pretty happy until the next morning, I was awaken by room service. They were unaware I was staying two days. They apologized and left. The next morning I was disturbed again before my check out time. Ultimately it was a lot of miscommunication and wasn't as peaceful as I would have liked. I contacted the manager and he was able to "correct" the situation. I appreciate the manager for correcting the situation but if the staff weren't so confused my stay could have been a lot better. It's a really nice hotel, I just wish my experience could have been better. If they weren't so expensive I would be more than happy to give them another opportunity but the price tag & past issues makes me think twice.

From this hotel. By name it is a good place to sleep. At the moment I could see that there were only 3 trolleys to carry the luggage from the trolley to the room. Very good beds to rest. The bathroom and happiness were separate. What I did not like is that to open those doors they are very hard you have to make too much effort. The bathroom sooo small. Two sinks, one large and one small. Very good shower. The breakfast area is good and organized, all with distance.

My bride booked it because it looked a little quirky online. I approached the whole affair with some caution. Lately, a few Marriott's hotels have developed the unfortunate habit of looking better on the internet than they do when you pull into the parking lot. I feared this might be another one of those adventures. I was wrong. The theme was Georgia peaches, and they carried that peach wagon all the way across the finish line. From the fresh peaches waiting when we arrived to the peach sangria offered at check-in, they never missed a note. It wasn't gimmicky. It was thoughtful. The place was spotless. The corridors were clean, the elevator corners were free of the dust bunnies that usually reveal a hotel's true character, and the room was cool, comfortable, and as clean as a grandmother's living room before company arrives. The peach-scented toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch, though they nearly had to compete with the professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there--something that cannot be manufactured by a corporate training video. And then there was happy hour. My favorite hour. The rooftop bar was excellent, offering good drinks, good views, and a fine place to sit for a spell and watch the day wind down. When we left, I found myself doing something I don't often do with hotels these days: planning a return trip. I'd most definitely stay here again. Sometimes a place promises an experience. This one delivered it, peach by peach.

What really set this experience apart, though, was the people. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. Hevert, the night manager, along with the security team, went above and beyond--sharing insights about the city and the rich history behind the building. That level of engagement makes a difference. We also had brunch at Loom, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and Lucas at the bar crafted cocktails like a true professional--balanced, intentional, and memorable. Our server, Jay, was equally impressive. His demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the experience even better. He's the kind of person you remember after you leave.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and if I lived in town, I would eat here regularly. As to the actual hotel, This looks to have once been a Courtyard that they just haven't updated. The rooms, bar, restaurant, indoor pool, etc all remind me of a courtyard, but everything needs to be replaced. For example, our room was a typical, comfortable courtyard room BUT the bathroom door had water damage, as did the edge of the mirror. The chairs in the restaurant were unique, boutique type chairs, typical of courtyard, but they were a little dingy. BUT i feel like the lower nightly price reflects that. We will absolutely stay here again if we are in town. Side note: it's only 5 minutes from the Ocmulgee Mounds National park which is an absolute must see if you love history and/or nature trails.

I was a bit bummed. Room was nice, but did smell intermittently, which I believe came from the construction going on nearby/outside. Now for the pluses. Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. Concierge lounge was up and running. Loved the regular sized bottles of water. Staff there did a great job--cleaned tables and wiped them down. Location was convenient to a variety of places to eat near by. In general, I try to stay at places that don't charge for parking. You are already paying to stay there, so glad there was not any additional parking costs. Nice sized lot so it was awesome I didn't have to drive around and around looking for a spot to park. Did I say the staff was super nice? Well I am saying it again since it was refreshing to have folks who really seemed to do what they could to ensure you had a nice stay.. Room was clean. Towels were my favorite absorbent ones. Water pressure and temperature were on target. Nice long counter in the bathroom. Larger fridge in the room. Bed and sheets were comfy and inviting. Lots of outlets for charging your devices. Definitely more pluses than challenges!

We picked this place because it was close to the freeway, many other places and pet friendly with a minimal fee per pet. $20.00 per pet is the most reasonable I have come across when traveling with the pups. Bedding could use a good wash. The fixtures, chairs, towels, doors etc could use a good coat of fresh paint. Loved the faux wood floors versus carpet which usually creeps me out in hotels. The room is a hybrid of so- so updates with some things sticking around from the 80s. Didn't stay for the ambiance- just needed a place for the night and a reasonable pet fee. Breakfast in the am. Prices were decent for what it was. Outdoor pool.

On Tuesday…read moreevening, May 5th, we went directly to the front desk IN PERSON to cancel the final night of our reservation for May 7th. We spoke with Megan, who told us the cancellation had been "released on their end" and specifically instructed us to contact Hotels.com for the refund because the hotel had already handled their side. Now Hotels.com is claiming the hotel NEVER canceled the reservation, and when we called the hotel back, we were told there are "no notes in the system" and apparently no record of the conversation at all. Trying to resolve this with Hotels.com and the hotel has been a nightmare. Multiple calls, being transferred around, language barriers making communication extremely difficult, endless "so sorry for bad experience" responses, yet absolutely NO actual help or accountability from either side. The hotel says it wasn't canceled, Hotels.com says the hotel never notified them, and meanwhile the customer gets stuck paying for a room they canceled TWO DAYS EARLY in person. Beyond the cancellation issue, the stay itself was not pleasant. The beds were hard as a rock and incredibly uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny you could practically touch the door while sitting on the toilet. You had to walk to another building entirely just to get breakfast. To top it off, the toilet clogged during our stay and nobody could even bring a plunger until the next morning. Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience from start to finish, with poor communication, poor customer service, and zero accountability. We absolutely would not stay here again and would strongly recommend others think twice before booking here, especially through Hotels.com.
