One star because I have to. So I first called to order a cookie cake. The lady waving in the…read morebusiness picture is the lady that picked up (I didn't know it was her at the time, just a lady). Her attitude was very strong, and I was placing an order for my daughter's graduation cookie cake. Btw, adding "baby" onto a sentence does not excuse a poor attitude. She was rushing me, and I knew exactly want I wanted, as I already looked online previously before calling. I asked if they had black icing rather than chocolate (after her arguing with me for 5 mins because the pan size was apparently not called a square 16x25, it was called pan). She rudely told me they didn't have black icing so I must want fudge. I corrected her and said I wanted all vanilla frosting so I would opt to my first choice of border color, red and white. She the got an attitude and said "you gotta know what you want for me to take your order baby" with a huge attitude. Lady, I just told you what I wanted?? I then told her that I wanted the cake design that had the words on top, a graduation cap in the middle, and words on the bottom. THEN, SHE TOLD I THERE WAS MULTIPLE CAKES LIKE THAT AND I NEEDED THE PICTURE NUMBER TO PLACE MY ORDER AND TO CALL HER BACK WHEN I HAD ONE. I then told her she had a terrible attitude, and I would call another store to get my cake. I decided to give them another chance, and call back because I was in a pinch the day of the party, and the travel time to another store would be too much. The guy was super nice, answered my questions accurately, and asked my how to spell my name to be put on the cake like I asked during the order. I got it placed (and here's when things really get started), and went in to pick it up. The rude lady with the contagious attitude was there. I looked at the cake, and it was incorrect. I was nice (at first) about the cake being incorrect, but she showed me the order, and insisted it was my fault because the name wasn't on the cake. "I didn't say to put the name on there" That really set me off, and then we ended up arguing back and forth in the store in front of customers (so unprofessional) because I brought up how i previously called and she gave me an attitude, and then I pick up the cake and it's incorrect. In front of customers now. Wow that shows your character. Not to mention the cake was sloppy and the part that WAS on the order was MISSPELLED. I will insert pics. I asked her to add the name onto the cake, which was not how I ordered, but anything at this point to get to the party on time. She did, and then decided to give me the cake for free (which I appreciate because $45 for what I got was a huge rip off). It honestly was probably better off in trash. But hold on it's not over yet. With the cake in my hand, she's lecturing me about how I should order better AND SHUSHS ME BEFORE I COULD EVEN GET A WORD OUT OF MY MOUTH SO SHE COULD GET HER INVALID POINT ACROSS. "It was my fault because what she sees, and what I see were two different things, and there's more than 1 plain graduation cap cake, and she would show me in her book" Which she never did, because she was clearly wrong, and I had a cake in my hand, or else I would've showed her myself. I finally get tired of listening to her carry on about what I did wrong, and walk out the door, but baby, I'm glad you showed me why going to college is important, because I could end up working at a cookie store for minimum wage, and be so unhappy to with my life that I have to get an attitude at customers who just want their celebration to be memorable, and not be embarrassed to open up the box to the cake they were going to pay $45 for. I will be telling everyone about my experience, and I will make sure no one visits this store again. Hopefully someone can reach out to make this better, because as of now, I'm still in shock that a manager was ballsy enough to talk to a paying customer this way. She did tell me she was a manager, not sure if that was a lie or not. "Comgradulatioms" baby you're character really showed today.
