The food was good. I would have loved if the broth was warmer in temperature. The wontons are absolutely delicious. I had the AP2 roll and the S6 soup. I would definitely order the soup again.i felt that the roll could have been more flavorful I liked the space open airy and clean. The service was good.

Delicious pho and great service...everything was so fresh. Broth in their pho was perfect, not too salty and loaded with meat. If you have room after dinner, must buy their macarons, they are made fresh!

Very solid Vietnamese food. This corner restaurant has a nice five, classical music playing in the background, green and wooden walls. Clean and well appointed. My Family and I had a number of items, including lime drink, beef soup, and also beef soup with vegetables and tofu. The portions were generous. Also ordered the pork spring rolls which were only three stars. Overall, quite satisfactory experience for downtown Lancaster

We went to Sprout for their gluten free options as my friend has celiac. The staff were very helpful in explaining the gluten feee options. We walked from a nearby parking lot. The atmosphere was clean, bright, clean, but almost sterile. Though I do feel it suited the type of food that it was. Ordering was at the bar, and everything is self serve. The food was amazing and very quick. My friend was very happy that the menu had so many options for her, and that the menu was explained to her. I would definitely go again!

I haven't been here in years and was so happy to make it back. They are walking distance from Lancaster Central Market. I love to walk the market and then stop here for a fast, fresh lunch. This place is immaculate and the food is delicious. I'm a big fan of the iced tea with lime juice. The rice vermicelli options are fantastic. My personal favorite has fried tofu and lemongrass. They have multiple vegetarian/vegan options. If you want delicious food and a relaxing environment, this place might be for you.

I had the veggie sandwich which is delicious. The bread and veggies are fresh and the tofu was cooked perfectly the way I like it. I will definitely come back. I was not sure what to expect, I've walked by here so many times. It's clean and the staff is friendly!

When I was going to school in downtown Lancaster, I would eat here for lunch at least once a week. The food is absolutely fantastic and the reasonable prices of all their items have made Sprout an all-time favorite for me. Now graduated, I still visit when I can! The restaurant is always clean, has decent seating, and quick service checks all my boxes. The Banh Mi sandwiches and spring rolls are my go-to favorites! However, their pho dishes are equally delicious! I highly, highly, highly recommend visiting!

Recently I visited Sprout in Lancaster and was impressed by my experience. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to find a table a few minutes after ordering. Although there isn't a lot of indoor seating, the place was clean and staff was friendly. The food was fresh and arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. We ordered the CM 8 and the S 1, both dishes were delicious. The tofu in the CM 8 was flavorful and had a perfect texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired perfectly with the rice. The S1 was perfect for a cold windy day, the broth had notes of spicy jalapeños and fresh basil. The vegetables and glass noodles were cooked to perfection and not overdone and fun to eat with the crunchy tofu! The portion was decent and the dish overall was hearty and filling. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Sprout for anyone looking for a great vegetarian options.

Great restaurant in Lancaster. Lots of options to include vegan options. I had a fried noodle dish with veggies and tofu, the sauce was amazing. Great location. We came unknowingly during first Friday, so the city had lots of offer.

My wife, acting as both navigator and oracle, found Norbu after I asked for something within walking distance of our hotel. Four Himalayan restaurants, all within a short stroll, which felt statistically suspicious in the heart of Amish country. We chose Norbu because it had the best reviews and, more importantly, because it offered Nepalese and Bhutanese dishes, which none of us had ever tried. We are a family that tries to make it a point to say yes to the unknown. Finding it is part of the adventure. Norbu is tucked along North Christian Street, though calling it a street feels optimistic at best. It is more of a very committed alley. The restaurant sits inside an office building with a few brave parking spaces placed carefully on postage stamp sized lot out front. Had we been driving, I am certain we would have missed it and continued on, poorer for the experience. Fortunately, we were on foot and arrived intact. Inside, the place was alive at 7 PM. There were low tables with stools that suggested a more traditional way of dining, and a couple of unoccupied standard tables for those of us still learning. We took one of the latter and were seated quickly. We began with momo, a dish that seems like could quietly solve many of the world's problems if placed on the right tables. Soft, hand folded dumplings, steamed and served with a savory chutney. We ordered the "Mix It All" option, which gave us vegetable, beef, and chicken. Each had its own personality, its own quiet argument for why it should be your favorite. My older son ordered the Sweet N Sticky Tofu, which was the most familiar thing we ate all night. It tasted like a thoughtful conversation between General Tso and sesame tofu. Very good, very well executed, just less novel. I had the Pak Sha Datsi, the national dish of Bhutan, which I did not know until I read it on the menu and our server filled in the missing information with patience and enthusiasm. Norbu itself, we learned, is rooted in Himalayan traditions and a desire to share the food and culture of Nepal and Bhutan with a wider audience, which feels like a noble use of time. The dish arrived as a gently spiced stew with pork and a blend of aged and smoked cheeses. It was creamy, delicate, and somehow grew more interesting with every bite. It did not resemble anything I had eaten before, which is a rare and welcome thing as I grow ever older. My wife and younger son both ordered the Nepali Thali, a kind of edible symphony made up of curry, lentils, vegetables, chutneys, pickles, and a dessert pudding. My wife chose the fish curry, which was tender and lightly flavored. My son chose the chicken curry, which quietly became the star of the table. It had a familiar warmth, something like Indian curry, but with its own distinct voice. The accompanying mustard greens, curried potatoes, and a simple mix of green beans, corn, and carrots, were so flavorful that we found ourselves marveling at them like tourists at a natural wonder. Service was excellent. Our waitress guided us through the menu, made thoughtful suggestions, and shared a bit of the restaurant's story. By the end of the meal, we felt not just fed, but informed. Our only failure was not saving room for dessert. There was a chai flavored cashew cheesecake that sounded like it might change a person's outlook on life. We will have to return to test this theory. Norbu is the kind of place you hope to find and rarely do. It is hidden, a little hard to reach, and entirely worth the effort. Five stars, because sometimes you find something amazing and new, and that reminds you that the world is still full of good surprises.

It was pretty busy on Saturday when we went for dinner but we didn't have to wait too long and our food actually came out pretty fast. The service was as expected because it looked like 1 guy was serving all tables and he was literally running between table to table. I don't blame him for any waiting because he was busting his butt and we didn't really need to wait too long. We ordered a variety of dishes coming here but my favorite has to be the Homestyle Tofu or the Fish Filet. I would like to try more dishes next time. They give you quite a good amount of food for the price. Some places charge the same and give you much less. This place has authentic Chinese food with some common favorites that many of us also know (chicken with broccoli, lo mein, general tso's etc.) so there is something for everyone. There are vegetarian dishes available as well. If you're in the area and would like more savory, authentic Chinese food I recommend coming here!

Surprisingly Yi Pin is open and fully operational on a major federal holiday. The air conditioning is rather weak during our dining experience as I felt warm during the Northeast heat wave oppressive humidity continuous week. Customer service is attentive and staff is fluent in Mandarin and English. Yi Pin is a Chinese restaurant that serves regional cuisine of Shanghainese and Szechuan province. It is what my party of three refer non-Cantonese, Guangdong province 外省人 ngoi6 saang2 jan4 (noun) outside province; foreign person. Ergo, staff does not speak Cantonese - neither rudimentary level. Price is extortionate high, but expected in 2026 stagflation era. I was able to obtain the sales receipt as keepsake. Asian melon hard candy is distributed with the bill upon meal completion which is industry standard for Asian restaurants and cafes. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 18%, 20% and 22% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. There is one large beautiful Japanese beckoning cat, (maneki-neko) which adjacent to the cash register. Business cards are available for grabs. There is a customer parking lot available. Beef noodle soup $15.95 The soup broth bubbles are very visible for the high level of cholesterol and fat content. I believe the cook or kitchen staff used and implemented MSG. This was a big setback leading to disappointment for my three Yelp stars. Lo Mein chicken $12.95 It was stirred fried and abundant for excessive quantity. I did not consume any - neither one bite. It seemingly appeared very high grease and fat content for excessive oil. Shanghainese soup dumplings 6 pieces, $10.95 Pork steam soup dumplings siu2 lung4 baau1, 小籠包 tasted average, but not exuberant great to awaken my soul for sprightly liveliness. There were very minimal soup liquid inside the dumpling upon biting. I did ponder with hope and wonder during our wait for our food order arrival that these soup dumplings would be bursting with excessive soup liquid and flavor. It was not served piping hot as I am accustomed in NYC Shanghainese restaurant industry standards. These dumplings prepared by the cook(s) or kitchen staff at Yi Pin are egregiously appalling and insult to New York Chinese. I refused to apologize for being a native New Yorker. The dumpling skin tip where placing the serving tongs also tasted hard. Also another reason for my three Yelp stars.
