I had a fabulous experience at the new sprouts located in Centereach. I came for their grand opening this weekend to give it a look see. The staff were very friendly, happy to help. Busy maintaining shelves finding items for customers and explaining products. The prices are in my opinion average, we are far from the days of everything feeling so affordable. I did find that their product selection differs from other stores, and I was able to find unique products. Great savings if you download their app and I really love their selection of beautiful fresh flowers when you walk in the door.

After reading the reviews, I am not sure if folks understand that Sprouts is what Whole Foods used to be before it was taken over by Amazon. Organic and/or Gluten-free items are a bit more expensive in the States plus don't forget this is a new place so rent for the property might be slightly higher. This is my first Sprouts besides the first one in Long Island so not sure how other ones look like. You have to know your pricing before you start shopping. . Though checking the dog treats which is buy one get one 50% off, it was slightly more expensive though with the discount it was cheaper than the ones in another supermarket. Another watermelon drink was more expensive than the other supermarket, since this is a bigger bottle. The muffins are definitely reasonably priced. Where do you find 2 muffins for $5? Go check it out and decide for yourself.

Lots of gluten free items, but it's a bit overpriced. Kinda reminds me of another version of wholefoods.

Decided to check out this store that recently opened in the area. Walking in, we were pleasantly greeted by multiple employees. And as we walked through the store, employees were friendly. Being new, the store was extremely clean and pristine. Products were perfectly lined on all the shelves and in the cases and everything was well stocked. I found it was definitely on the pricier side. I didn't care for the help yourself endless bins of candy, grains, fruit etc. For me, it's a giant health hazard for contamination. Both my husband and I agreed, this kind of store is in the wrong area and will not last long.

Great store with a huge selection, but the prices are ridiculous. Higher than Whole Foods, and it's the sale price! Great service though.

I stopped by Sprouts, which I was surprised to find on Long Island, looking for a vitamin.

A trip to Whole Foods offers a familiar and reliable bounty: aisles of health-conscious products,…read morevibrant organic produce, and an impressive range of prepared foods like pizza, sushi, and a sprawling salad bar. However, the premium quality comes with an equally premium price tag, a reality that has persisted, and perhaps even intensified, since its acquisition by Amazon. For the savvy shopper, there are still ways to navigate the costs. Keen attention to pricing, coupled with strategic use of Amazon Prime discounts and in-store sales, can help balance the ledger. Ultimately, the store's unique draw lies in its exclusive selection; there are certain specialty items you simply won't find anywhere else, making it a necessary stop for certain needs. Our family has found a practical rhythm: we always begin our shopping at the Trader Joe's across the street. After surveying their selection and prices, we then visit Whole Foods for those few, special items we can't get elsewhere. This approach makes the added effort, and expense, feel worthwhile. Despite the undeniable cost, shopping at the Lake Grove location remains a valuable way to support and enrich a healthy lifestyle, especially for those living on Long Island's East End. It's a curated experience, one where careful planning can turn a luxury stop into a sustainable part of your routine.

The menu sounded delicious and we were told that all of their shakes were sugar free. You do have the option of adding toppings that have sugar. I am dairy free so I asked if their shakes are dairy free but unfortunately they're not! Booo! They do have one plain dairy free and they are able to blend some of the toppings to match the flavors. Overall it's a nice little spot where you can get some drinks as pre or post workout. They drinks definitely taste like they have the sugar free sweetener so if you're not a fan, then this wouldn't be the place. But I recommend checking this place out!

I knew this place was based off of a pyramid scheme before coming and it doesn't really sway how I feel. I got one of the teas...while it is vitamin packed, I can't wrap my head around how it's marketed as 0G sugar. It's incredibly sweet and nowhere does it specify what syrups etc. are being used to create the flavors they have? All in all, tastes great. I think there needs to be more transparency as to what they're actually using in these drinks, however.
