Sprouts Farmers Market in Flagstaff help me long distance with planning food for a funeral reception in Flagstaff. Living 140 miles away is always difficult when trying to schedule and plan an event, but they were great help. We needed food for what we estimated was about 50 people, and they helped us estimate the amount and kind of trays that we might need. We had everything from meat trays to fruit trays to vegetable trays and trays of complete sandwiches, 13 in all. I would highly recommend Sprouts Farmers Market in Flagstaff for your catering needs. I'm done shopping here. When we moved to Flagstaff 8 years ago this was our favorite grocery store to shop at. It was a pleasure seeing Ernie, the cashier manager. The staff were friendly and helpful. But, over the last few years the store has gone down hill. Staff clearly lack training, and many could care less. Three times we've bought milk with an expiration date 2+ weeks out and it was grossly curdling in less than a week. Twice I've bought meet (most recently, 2 racks of ribs, which weren't cheap) that were spoiled when we opened the packaging. And, today I bought a turkey sandwich for lunch. I got back to my office to find no turkey (or any meat) on the sandwich. Getting a bit fed up with this store, I took it back. And, the cashier didn't even give a full refund. It's frustrating seeing a place we used to love shopping at turn for the worse. We don't plan on returning :(. read more

Great experience. The Flagstaff Sprouts store was stocked with what I needed, clean, and customer service was excellent.

The prepared food and the bakery at the Flagstaff store Are not well prepared or good at all! My husband felt ill after eating one of the prepared meat entrées, and my dog would not even touch it! 4 entrées straight into the garbage. In addition, the pastries were not well prepared at all like the ones in the Prescott store. The pies ordered from the frozen section all had ice crystals and looked old or potentially thawed and then refrozen. We love, sprouts, but we were really disappointed with the lack of quality at the store and the prepared foods and bakery sections. Not sure what happened with the frozen food? read more

I used to like this store. However, the discrimination the employees project on customers with disabilities has gotten really bad. They enjoy embarrassing customers in front of other shoppers over things that they don't agree with. Not to mention most of the gluten free stuff is expired on the shelves and some has mold. It's very disappointing as I was once a loyal customer to this location. At the end of the day, you get the same negative energy that you give to your customers. I will add, The vitamin manager is the best though, absolutely sweet and compassionate lady. She knows her vitamins very well!! read more

What an incredibly beautiful store. It was incredibly beautiful produce. What an incredible selection of health food goodies and vitamins and such and that was what we were looking for and this top a lot of drugstores I can tell you. We bought those goodies and a few pieces of fruit and we were out the door happy as can be with a really clean really nice really beautiful store and more. There are many things about sprouts that I like. Fresh fruits, and veggies are beautiful and usually of high quality. It's also very nice to have a bulk food and be able to buy small quantities. However, I have bought my last prepared meal. Tonight I really didn't feel like cooking so I picked up the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. There was hardly any sauce on the spaghetti, so that was like eating dried noodles and the chicken parmesan had absolutely no taste. I have tried several other entrées and found them all to be of poor quality and mostly tasteless. I guess I'll stop wasting my money. read more

It's the Walmart of produce stores: it's usually quite busy and there's only 2 or 3 registers open. There have been times where I've left my items and just walked out because it's ridiculous standing 5 or 6 deep in lines because only a couple registers are open. This is definitely more wallet friendly than Whole Foods or Natural Grocers, but it's typically more than several of the grocery stores (comparing non sale items). Flagstaff Farmers market (albeit with a much smaller selection) beats the pants off of Sprouts with price (again, comparing non sale prices), not to mention Sprouts is a chain and FFM is local. Sprouts does have good sale prices, and a pretty decent selection of organic as well as non food items like vitamins and soaps. But the lousy check out experience just sours the entire experience. read more

Be prepared if you are going to this sprouts for a sandwich. Every time I go here it takes 30 minutes to get the food, they always swap the sandwiches somehow if you order multiple. But last night was the worst I ordered two sandwiches mine was only a little bit wrong missing two items so I didn't mind two much. But my boyfriend's sandwich was so awful he ordered a turkey sandwich with extra meat and some extra adds on so that goes up in price. What we go was a tuna salad Sandwich with cheddar cheese. Disgusting. Upsetting money wasted I ended up throwing the sandwich in the trash. Other than that sprouts is cool. read more

Sprouts is an amazing place to grab a quick healthy sandwich. They make them with fresh cut meats, cheeses and veggies. They are always spot on and I have never had a bad experience. Just be sure to check the sandwich bar hours, they aren't the same as the store hours. Usually it is weekdays ... lunchtime. They also can get busy, so make sure you have time to be patient. read more

Was given extremely rude orders to put the basket under the checking aisle when taking my items out. I then asked to be spoken to politely and saying "please" helps, and then was challenged by the employee for doing so saying they said "please"! After bringing to management I was told by another cashier I was the problem and the other employee was not behaving how I was describing, while addressing this with the manager the male and female employee sat there laughing at me. After calling management back I was simply told "they are being dealt with" however never received an apology for how many was treated. read more

I'm glad you are here and some of your products are excellent. Produce for example is terrific. Also, hard to find shelf products, as well as, dairy is good. On other products and service, however your store is hit and miss. Numerous butcher products spoil very quickly or are sold beyond the dates they should be sold. In addition, some of your staff is wonderful, others are in a bad mood or uncommunicative, particularly the older man butcher or the often unmanned butcher station while 5-6 people are working off to the side. read more

If this were a Sprouts in the valley (especially Brown & Gilbert) I would be giving a full 5 stars but sadly this one isnt so lucky. Not sure if its owned or managed by the same Corp or not but this store has consistently dissapointed me. From overcrowding, rude staff to extremely rude shoppers (not the stores fault)! I have worked my whole life and I am a nice person. However, you are a miserable person to reply so rudely to my comment. I still do not go into Sprout's much anymore-prices too high. It takes so little to be nice. I had every right to comment as I did, when I purchased 8 cauliflowers and the clerk at Sprout's said: "What will you do with these feed them to pigs?" Sprouts has most of what we need and many organic and gluten-free products. A real plus is that their deli counter has Mortadella! And they even know what it is. An essential for traditional Brazilian breakfast. read more

Why is it that this grocery store has such loud and irritating music and other noises? It's crowded and unorganized. Is it a not so subtle plan to rush customers through as quickly as possible and have them purchase things they otherwise wouldn't? I've read about this type of retail "design." Then, as soon as you have all your goods in your cart and are trying to get out of there with what little is left of your sanity, you are stuck in that chokepoint called "checkout." I can't wait until Amazon or whoever puts that whole step of the process out of our misery. Then we can get the hell out of there even faster. Either way, it's so unpleasant a place that my wife and I will no longer shop there until they "mellow out" a bit. read more

My wife has turned into a Sprouts shopper, almost exclusively. We are very impressed with the variety of healthy foods offered and particularly the quality of the meat and seafood. Sprouts is one of the only places in town that carries Salmon without added color! They have great "bulk food" offerings and excellent frozen food options too- including lots of kid friendly choices. The only real complaint is that it always seems to be PACKED!! Located within walking distance to campus, I can see why a lot of our student population would shop there but it seems I can never find a check out lane with less than 3 people ahead of me. I also notice how tiny the store seems particularly when trying to squeeze by an employee restocking- the carts they use are huge!! I wish it was a bit larger with wider aisles but obviously, this is a small price to pay for the quality of the groceries we are able to get. read more

RUDE employees giving me attitude when I'm asking about a product that was apparently discontinued. And many of the kiddos working there are just joking around and forget to bag out stuff. Last time I spent a ton of money on the bulk section for the recipe I was making and they forgot to bag like 6 items! Rude and unprofessional people.
